The room was great! The staff were very polite and the location excellent.

To get to the room you had to climb three long floors using the stairs, but if you’re in shape you’ll have no problem.

It was really way better than what I expected; the room was just perfect and clean. The bed is very comfortable, the AC has no sound and the bathroom is the best! The water flow from the shower is strong and feels like you are easily showering not waiting 10min to remove shampoo for ex! The location is more than perfect as it is in the middle of the center, close to all attractions, and just behind the venetian port of Chania. Restaurants and shops are just seconds away! The host George is really an amazing person, very helpful and always ready to assist. He sent me documents just before my trip to advise on where to go, what to see, where to eat, which tours to take...He is really keen to give his customers the best experience. For the first time, I couldn't find anything I didn't like! I saw some reviews before I book the place about the stairs but nothing to worry about if you are fit and dont have 10 big luggage!

The location is excellent, you're one street behind the marina waterfront (20yd walk) right in the heart of town and despite the reports of other friends staying in the old town nearby, the room was silent with no noise from the busy streets. It is self check in though the owner Giorgos is on hand immediately with any answers via WhatsApp. In my time staying he managed to sort me taxis, recommend local restaurants and bars (all were excellent) and point me in the direction of butchers/supermarkets that I needed for my stay. He couldn't be more helpful or friendly. You will see the cleaner on site daily, who is also one of the friendliest people I have ever met and so efficient at her job. I had a 45 minute meeting next door and when I returned she'd prioritised cleaning my room for the day. The room is beautifully laid out, the shower very powerful and the room I stayed in had a decent sized terrace which was great to read on in the evenings, or coffee on in the mornings. For accessibility, these are old buildings so there is no lift, however my room with the roof terrace was only 3 flights. On departure I was offered the room an extra two hours without asking due to a later arrival of the next guest, which was hugely appreciated. I loved my stay (it was recommended by a friend who had stayed twice previously) and will definitely be back.

the location is well located, immediately when you walk out the door there are so many restaurants and shops. everything is super clean and this was for sure one of the best hotel beds ever. the room is tiny - as in description - but has everything you need. shower with very good water pressure, nespresso, water heater, said bed, a thick blanket (may)and hangers. the owner was very easy to contact via phone. also the room was surprisingly quiet even though lots of people walk by on the alley.

This is probably the case in every stay in the city: the stairs up the the room are pretty steep and narrow. I just want to mention it in case you have a lot to carry up and down every day. in the bathroom there was a weird smell coming from the drain, I kept the windows open all the time, then it was more or less gone.

- Location. Right next to the old harbour/seafront. So many options for food, dessert, shopping, etc. Everything is on your doorstep so you save sooo much time. - Cosy feel to the property. It was great coming back here after a long day of exploring. The terrace was also a great addition. - Clean and tidy space. Everything was spotless. I’m a very big germaphobe so the tiniest bit of dirt puts me off but this place was perfect! - Giorgos and the housekeeper were both extremely kind, friendly and helpful. They made our experience in Chania that much better! Giorgos also helped us with booking excursions and was very honest about recommendations which we really appreciated. I would 100% stay here if I ever visit Chania again in the future.

This hotel is a gem - it boasts self check in, exceptional cleanliness, stunning decor, comfortable bed, modern coffee machine, soundproofed rooms, blackout curtains, the water pressure... George, the host, is a lovely gentleman who, although we didn’t meet in person, kept in touch with us throughout the stay. He gave us the best recommendations which lived up to our expectations and was very responsive. The Cretans are lovely people and he truly exemplifies their hospitality.

We stayed in the topmost floor which we didn’t appreciate after hiking to and from Balos beach - if you know, you know 😅 however everything about the place and location more than made up for the stairs. If you think about it, we appreciated the work out after eating all that amazing Cretan food.

I can’t say enough good things about Giorgos and the room. First, when the ferries weren’t allowed to leave after my hike in the Samaria Gorge and I couldn’t make it back to check out the next morning, Giorgos was able to pack and safely store my things until I was able to return to Chania. He was also checking up periodically to make sure everything was ok for me and my group while we were stranded. The room was perfect - comfortable and quiet and I slept well the 2 nights I was there. The location is fantastic and centrally located within a short walk from everything in Chania. The automated check in system was easy and convenient for my late arrival. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Crete.

Great location in the city centre, close to all the restaurants and bars - just one street behind the sea front. But also not in the loud party area. Great rooftop terrace. The host was very nice and friendly. Giorgos was super friendly & helpful. He assisted us in booking a day trip as well as gave us great recommendations about some hidden gems on the island. He’s one of the best hosts, we ever had.

That we didn’t stay longer :) Nothing negative but just to be aware that the next possible parking spots are 10 or 15 minute walking.

Everything was excellent: the location, the building, the room, the cleanliness, the host! Although the check-in is fully remote, the host Giorgos started helping and guiding us before our stay. The room was well decorated and had a terrace which had really good furniture. We wished that we could stay longer.

The one thing may challenge is the stairs. Since our room is at the top level, we needed to take the stairs a few times a day. This can be challenging if you are tired or carrying heavy staff. But it is not a big issue, it's just 2 levels.
