Lovely and Helpful Staff. Very accommodating for any questions like where to go and eat. In the old town but in a very peaceful corner. Nicely decorated and constructed complex. Clean and homey room. Small touches in the room like feminine kits available. Coffee and water always refilled. Parking is a plus! And very much needed as it is very hard to find parking. Parking is about 5-7min walk. Do note that Parking is a problem in the city. Near to ports where you can start island hopping. You can even book on the spot. Souvenir and uniqe shops right outside. Olive oil and honey is much cheaper here than in duty free. The bakery down the street is a must try to. Spinach pie was still soft after hours.

The hotel's location is ideal, situated on the edge of the old town, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle while maintaining easy and quick access to the town and harbor. Paula delivered exceptional hospitality, radiating warmth and friendliness, and the receptionist was equally welcoming. The room was very tidy and had a charm, and it's impeccably maintained for cleanliness.

There were a couple of small drawbacks during our stay. Firstly, the morning receptionists had rather limited proficiency in English, making communication a bit challenging at times. Additionally, the limited operating hours of the reception, from 8 am to 8 pm, posed an inconvenience. We did work around it but we wished it was further extended a couple of hours.

Beautiful boutique hotel, in the perfect location. The room was stylish, with high quality linens and towels. Superb amenities, again of a very high quality. The bed and pillows were also incredibly comfortable. What made my stay here exceptional, however, was the warm welcome received from the owners. They genuinely care about you, ensuring you have everything you need without being intrusive. Paula was so friendly and so helpful with recommendations and made us feel so special. It is rare to find such exceptional hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel and thank everyone there for such a wonderful stay.

Our stay at this hotel in Chania was absolutely perfect! The cleanliness was impeccable; the rooms were cleaned daily and the common areas were very well maintained. The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to many key places and a great selection of restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff, in particular, were exceptional. They were extremely professional, friendly, and always willing to help with any request. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Spacious room with beautiful minimal decoration, a lot of light. Beautifully renovated. Quiet location although in the old town. Easy to reach. The hotel provides a parking lot just outside the city wall. Very kind staff.

Everything was great and we would definitely return there. Only the water heating could possibly be slightly adjusted, as it turned sometimes to cold in the shower, only to turn to hot again by itself. But this was a minor problem.

Perfect location in the Old Town, but away from any noise and very handy for lots of restaurants and shops. We had a very comfortable bed, and the linen and towels were excellent. A warm welcome at reception and a light and airy building, tastefully restored from an ancient house. A large courtyard was available with chairs and tables, and outdoor drying facilities for beach towels, etc.are also provided.

Because it is an old building, it has many storeys, and upper floors are accessible only by quite steep stairs. Anyone with mobility issues should request a room on the lower floor. Several former guests have raised the issue of parking. We have stayed in a great many hotels and guest houses in the Old Town over the years, and recognise that hardly any are directly accessible by car. The tiny lanes and traffic free nature of the Old Town is an essential part of its charm. The hotel has some dedicated spaces, but if you park in the seafront, it is only a five minute walk to the hotel. We were a little disappointed by the pillows, which were very hard and spongey, and the shower was very narrow and needed a little repair of some water damage, but these were minor issues.

Quiet refuge right next to Old Town crazy busy streets. Nice housekeeper and nice receptionist. Tasteful aesthetics. Good air conditioning. Free bottled water and mini fridge. Welcome gift of raki and nuts.Dependable shower with nice hot water. Outdoor drying rack for towels and swimsuits. Steps away from all the action of Old Town. Tamam restaurant was less than a minute away and was excellent.

Beyond our expectations! Exquisite boutique hotel set in an original centuries old house which has been tastefully renovated! Amazing green courtyard with a beautiful jasmine scent! The host Paula and Nicos were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome and comfortable! Can’t wait to get back to Chania and stay at Aelios again! Best location in the heart of the old town with everything within footsteps. Thank you Paula and Niko!

We had a perfect stay at aelios. The room was a really good size and clean and tastefully decorated. It exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect - in the old town and close to everything, but on a quiet side street so we had no issues with noise at all. The street actually had a lot of really lovely shops and cafes/restaurants which we might not have discovered if we didn’t stay there. The staff were friendly and welcoming and helped with all of our requests. I will be recommending to all of our friends visiting Chania. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I can’t think of anything that needs improving. If breakfast was available we probably would have purchased, but it was easy to find somewhere to eat elsewhere.

Everything about this hotel is perfect, the staff couldn't have been more helpful from arranging our flight transfers, directions to the hotel and just a fabulous welcome. The location is great, just a short walk to the sea & plenty of restaurants. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean, bedding and towels absolutely spotless and super comfy. We couldn't have wished for anything more. Thank you Paula and the team!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
