Hyatt Centric Guatemala City

Fantastic room, facilities, location, food. We stopped overnight between vacation legs and it was the perfect decompression zone. The room was large and very well-styled. The swimming pool and decking area is beautiful, with outstanding views of the volcanoes across the country. Well laid out, plenty of sunbathing and shaded space and extremely well-maintained. We enjoyed several hours up there and only saw one other. Location linked to a mall with everything you could need at your doorstep. Excellent customer service and super-friendly staff. Can arrange anything for you including airport shuttle and shuttle to restaurants.

Everything was faultless.

This is our second time staying at this property. We love the location for several reasons. The place is clean, quiet, beautifully decorated (although I do have a bit of an issue with them having original Mayan pieces), great location, and excellent facility. We love being at the top of the property enjoying the beautiful view of the city and volcanos. The location is wonderful as one can easily walk everywhere and there are many wonderful restaurants.

Honestly, it is a great property if you are in Guatemala City. The location is super close to the airport and we truly enjoy being able to walk everywhere. Avenida Reforma has a great walking path and that was definitely one of the best parts of staying here.

The room are very spacious and comfortable, the hotel is very clean and design, the breakfast is amazing and the team is very friendly.

Some rules of the hotel and organization parts are not always ok: impossible to take a bit of food from breakfast for my dog, check in after 3pm, some mistakes with Service Room. But each time there was a small problem, some people in the team came to apologize and did their best to fix it and even offer gift for that...

The pool on the roof top was amazing, the view from up there spectacular. Good gym with everything you need. We stayed in a family room, 2 adults and 2 kids, very spacious and nice. The breakfast buffé was one of the best we’ve had, really great! Service was excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly situated close to the AirPort. We had a early morning flight to catch, it took only 15 min to get to the AirPort. Highly recommended.

Very clean, comfortable hotel with great staff! Everyone was so helpful and friendly to me, including at one moment when I changed plans multiple times! They let me leave a small suitcase when I went to another part of the country for a few days and it was in my room waiting for me when I returned. The transport they arranged was also great, very professional and helpful - and safe. It’s a shame it rained while I was there because the pool was beautiful and clean and overlooking the city. There is a good restaurant inside the hotel as well as a small coffee and tea bar, but the hotel is attached to a shopping center which had a few nice restaurants and a coffee shop as well.

10/10 experience. The hotel is absolutely stunning with beautiful & unique interior design. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff were all very friendly and provided excellent customer service. The gym has any equipment you should need and is in pristine condition. The pool has amazing views and we were lucky enough to get to enjoy it alone. The room service and the brunch in the restaurant were both very delicious. I couldn’t say enough good things about our stay - highly recommend booking here!

Extremely helpful and welcoming staff. Comfortable. Clean. Great breakfast buffet. Rooftop bar. Excellent food. About 15 minutes to airport. They called and scheduled a taxi for us. About $15.00. I was only there from 7pm to 10am the next morning, so not sure about proximity to anything. But in an outer zone... zone 12 I think. Would definitely stay again.

The staff by far made our stay feel like home… they were super attentive and detail oriented.. they would remember our favorite drinks in the morning when we went down for breakfast to our names every time we walked thru the lobby or halls.. we will definitely recommend to all our family and friends and we will be back.. Rene at the front desk was hands down amazing! So friendly and helpful! Everyone at the lobby breakfast area Amazing! We can not express how grateful we are for their service! Katherin was the best our daughter loves her! 🤗

The hotel is gorgeous, modern and very well equipped. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. My stay here was wonderful. The area around the hotel is full of beautiful restaurants, shops and alleys. You can enjoy strolls around the hotel. Furthermore, the financial district is very close by. If you are traveling for work it is ideal. The rooftop pool and bar are beautiful and the service on point. Id love to go back!

Rudy was fantastic! What a lovely soul. He made us feel safe, comfortable and taken care of. The buffet breakfast on the weekend was a delight!
