La Inmaculada Hotel

Our brief stay at Inmaculada Hotel in Guatemala City left a positive first impression that set the tone for our three-week journey across the country. Serving as our initial stop, this hotel offered a clean, serene, and comfortable haven with charming decor. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a clean and quiet atmosphere, providing a relaxing beginning to our adventure. The cozy decorations added a touch of warmth to the ambiance. A highlight of our stay was the breakfast experience on the hotel's rooftop, which turned out to be one of the best we encountered. The diverse selection and pleasant setting made for a delightful morning. The hotel's location is situated in a safe area. We ventured out to a nearby restaurant for dinner and felt secure during our walk.

Hotel is in a great location with many restaurant/bars/shops in walking distance and offers shuttle service to the airport, which makes this very convenient and a great hotel option for those travelling in and out of the country. My only complain came with check-in as this turned out to be a bit confusing and staff initially seemed a tad unfriendly when we arrived which resulted in a delay to get checked into our rooms.

We are very needy, needed help with the TV, printing a document, hot water. They were always gracious to come help us outstanding service! The restaurant is amazing, very trendy on the rooftop with the best staff ever!!!! Love this place! We like to switch around because we come to Guatemala frequently and we like adventure but we have been return visitors to only one hotel in 7 years, this one!

Recommend a shelf in the shower to put the beautiful shampoos ect provided so they are not in the floor and a bath mat to catch the water outside of the shower.

Lovely hotel! Staff were very nice, breakfast was great, and it had the most comfortable bed I slept in in Guatemala. Room was spacious. Good location, close enough to walk to places in Zone 10 but on a quiet street away from the nose. The courtyard was lovely for working.

Was quite expensive. Few little things like no water provided the first day, glass on the desk was loose. Just small things though, overall it was great.

The room we were offered was lovely but for a bit extra they had a king available and so we went for that! It had a big comfy bed, was brand-new and had good AC. The building has been beautifully remodelled and feels very stylish throughout. The bathroom had quality shampoos etc. Parking is provided onsite and the hotel is on a lovely quiet, upmarket street and close enough for early morning airport trips like us. The staff on front desk were super friendly and helpful.

Compared to the first room I saw, this one felt slightly unfinished with bare walls (no art on walls etc), I could hear some construction in the afternoon as there is still some renovations happening at the hotel. Unfortunately we didn't get to try breakfast due to the early morning departure - it would be a nice touch to offer guests a breakfast to take away as many guests like us choose this hotel due to it's close proximity to the airport. We'd read that it is possible to get a free shuttle to the airport but we were told that we could only avail of this for a $10 fee which felt too expensive so we drove instead.

Great location. Everything that you can possibly need is a short walk away

They should have a no breakfast option. The restaurant that they team with is horrible. The food is not even tasty. We waited over one hour for our food the first morning. The second morning, it was a 45 minutes wait (us and one other couple were the only ones there). After 45 minutes we got up and left. I talked to the server before leaving. He began to argue that our food was complicated to cook. Maybe they should simplify their menu. We ordered omelettes and pancakes...lol. We didn't even try to go back the next morning. Overall, this hotel was very nice. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Their breakfast option ruined a perfect 10 score.

The staff was amazing and so very lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was great. the breakfast delicious. The biggest surprise was the front desk arranged for all our transportation! In addition, they let us store a bag with them, so we could travel lighter for our travels within Guatemala. I will always be grateful for their kindness and generosity.

wish their elevator was working, but they carried our bags to our room, so no big deal.

I love it’s location to the airport. It is a sweet small hotel. The staff are very nice.

When I look around the room and the hotel in general the feeling I get is that it is running down. I feel it was once a beautiful hotel. When I asked for another hot water and lemon I was told no because breakfast only comes with one. I asked for only the water and he was happy to serve me with just that.

Excellent location! The room was really nice and had air conditioning which was amazing. Staff were all really friendly and helpful - coordinating airport transfers and allowing for us to still use their facilities once we had checked out due to a late flight.

Only bad thing was that there wasn't a later check out, this was only because of the late flight we had. Otherwise, no issues.

Beautiful space, nice toiletries, very helpful staff, rooftop restaurant is pretty cool too. The beds are comfortable. It’s a unique place and a nice alternative to chain hotels. I’m definitely staying there again.

The wifi is weak and drops frequently. The hallways could use a bit of noise/sound proofing, and the hot water for the shower in the lobby level rooms takes a really long time to work.
