I have repeatedly asked: WHY they don't have towel racks is the bathrooms? They have one small towel rack, across the bathroom from the sink, for a hand towel to dry your hands after washing. They have room for two towel racks to hang your bath towels. Why do we have to leave our wet towels on the bed or hanging over the shower curtain rack? I have never understood the logic of this. It also means that they have to wash the towels every day, instead of re-using them the second. In a city like Guatemala, where the aquifer is drying out, why do they not let us re-use our towels by hanging them up on a dedicated towel rack????????

Big room, excellent shower with hot water and good water pressure, very comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Easy walk to the Popol Vu museum and restaurants. Also nice walk to botanical garden and the food court in Zona 4 (the best areppa!). We stayed here 2 nights and really enjoyed exploring Guatemala City. Bonus: the rooms open onto a lovely courtyard which we enjoyed in the evening.

Nothing - except it would have been nice to enjoy a glass of wine or beer in the courtyard during the evening. This seemed to be a difficult thing to accomplish as there wasn't a staff person to assist with this. Not a big issue, and we would still stay here again😊

The hotel lobby and common areas were really pretty. The room was larger than I expected. The staff was very helpful. They were able to satisfy every special request that I had. One evening one of the staff even walked with me to a nearby restaurant to make sure I got there ok. This part of the city is very safe, or so it seemed to me. There is a good restaurant directly across the street serving a mix of Italian and French cuisine, with some new style flair. I would recommend it also.

I was surprised that there was no AC in the room in a tropical location! However, that said, they provided me a big fan and the temperatures were great even though it was the middle of summer, so I didn't really need an AC, which is probably why they don't have it. It was plenty cool enough at night to sleep, though maybe not at the 66 degrees F that I generally prefer.

Great, safe area in Zona 10, decent breakfast, great staff, and a small bar for guests. My garden room was quite and comfy. My friend and I walked around the neighborhood one night, watching fireworks and finding a very fancy Penthouse restaurant/bar. with Two wonderful restaurants are directly across the street from the hotel. One is a lovely, upscale Guatemalan Heritage food Restaurant, and the other does more affordable crepes, tortas, and smoothies. I will stay here again.

I didn’t “not like” anything.

A middle-sized hotel in a quiet corner of Zona 10 in Guatemala City. The hotel is built in colonial style and the interior of the rooms is also kept in a colonial style, but the rooms are not as dark as other hotels of similar type. The hotel staff is exceptionally accommodating and fulfills even the most unusual requests. Overall, one of the best hotels in Guatemala City.

Hotel grounds pretty and very clean! Room was nice, comfortable bed, good shower plenty of space for 1 or 2 people. Across the street a great restaurant recommended from travel zoo and it was delicious.

Room was more on dark side with lights on.. no big deal but I prefer bright lights. So other than that nice quaint cute hotel with friendly staff!

A beautiful and quaint hotel with very lovely staff.

I would’ve preferred a few more breakfast options in the included breakfast, but other than that, everything was great.

We had a one night stay because we had an early morning flight. We received a very warm welcome and the staff we very helpful in arranging our airport transfer which turned up spot on time. The room was plenty big enough the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water and room was very clean. The choice of 2 restaurants opposite was a bonus.

Nothing but a tea or coffee making facility would be good.

Beautiful hotel, not far from the airport. The staff were super cheerful and helpful. I just stayed a short night, but I got a good rest. The room was very big with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good and served quickly.

That I didn't have time to stay longer

We stay in this hotel frequently, as we like the location, atmosphere and the friendly and helpful staff. But at this time of year, the rooms are very warm at night and fans would be helpful. My son had trouble sleeping all night because it was so hot.
