Room was very comfortable - double & single bed in the room. Air conditioning was not working but room had a fan and I was able to keep the window open. Breakfast is good value for money @ €15.00

Go charge ev charging is at the back of the hotel. It was after 10pm when I arrived back to the hotel and I found it quite eery and lonely charging the charge is such a secluded spot. To get to the hotel main entrance I had to back a large skip and a dark / lonely area. I definitely wouldnt be staying in the hotel during winter if I needed to charge my car for the next day.

Location was excellent. Rooms very modern and clean. Pool was great.

Room was too warm and the air-con didnt work. Went for dinner at 4.30 and were told only the lunch menu was available, as the dinner menu didnt start until 5pm. The party in the table beside us, who sat down 10 mins later, were given the dinner menu and able to order off it before 5pm. 1 toaster for 100+ guests at breakfast. Waited for 20 mins in queue and left. Asked waitress for toast and she never came back. Very poor, considering breakfast was €15 per person.

Accommodation was very comfortable. Restaurant, food and variety of food very good. Staff moved around quietly and this gave the restaurant an old fashioned hotel experience, peaceful. As we eat our breakfast we weren’t aware of staff clearing/ cleaning and resetting tables.

We ordered 2 cheese and ham toasties from room service. We were very disappointed with them. Filling was sparse, not really toasted, no butter, maybe we should have specified we wanted butter. It was a service we appreciated, regardless, and was delivered very nicely.

Overall the hotel was lovely. The staff was understanding and welcoming.

I have called them and asked them if I order flowers to the hotel could they put it in the room so they are there when we get there and they said sure we can arrange that but when we got there and entered the room they where nowhere to be found, so I had to go to the reception and ask them what happened to my flowers and they where still in the box at reception.

Staff were very nice and accommodating. Room was a lot nicer than I expected it to be and reasonably priced. The pool was free for the kids. Wifi was decent and there was lots of parking. Location was great. Very close to Tayto park which was the main reason for our trip and also very close to Ashbourne city centre. My family enjoyed their stay and would stay there again next year.

Food could be better. Had the lunch in the bar but was not great so didn't chance having dinner there and went into a place in the city centre. Room can get a bit too warm at times but having the fan there helped.

bar had no cream then had no juice. sounded like bar tender didn’t want to make cocktails. room thermostat control not working. it was fine as weather was nice but will be a problem. No visible signage for pool. doors into pool were locked so had to go outside. receptionist dismissed us that yes there’s signs in lift and doors are open but we went back and checked. definitely locked and we’re unlocked when we were leaving.

The waiting staff for our evening meal were fantastic. Really on the ball. Personally, I love the vending machines on each floor - really easy to get a bottle of water instead of going to a shop or the bar. It was clean, convenient and welcoming.

The grapefruit at breakfast. I love tinned grapefruit (genuinely) but clearly this had been topped up with new stuff mixed in with stuff a few days old so some of it was "fizzy". At breakfast my friend was asked to pay for her Cappuccino while she was still eating. First, it's a bit poor to pay extra for an okay cappuccino and second, couldn't the waitress have waited until we'd finished? There were around 6-10 of us in total in the dining room at that time.

Was a very hot day air con in room didn't work room was boiling and had sit in lobby did not get a good sleep at all my niece was up all night ah room was just too stuffy Went for a swim to come back find there no water working all morning wasn't mad aware Food selection wasn't the best would liking a bit more options for the price your paying for this hotel

asked for a table for 1 person, in a half empty dining room , which was half hour from closing time , and I was refused . said you needed to book. bookings only . so I went back and thankfully the bar where much more helpful. also be helpful if reception would inform you , on check out , that you need a code to get out of the gate . pretty obvious, but this is the 2nd time Iv got stuck at the Barrier .

Location was fantastic as our holiday was with kids and family so we cud all go to tayto park, kids amenities in pillo were fantastic, and they also loved how close hotel was to leisure dome. We did not include breakfast but did go down 2 mornings and it was okay. Staff were so nice and friendly, thank you

Unfortunately me and my husband didnt sleep great, our mattress was very uncomfortable, and room was quite dated and cobwebs, only highlighting for your information, And we were disappointed with coffee at breakfast, and im a tea-aholic and it was not nice, very grey and bland.
