Comfortable room with tea-making facilities and a TV with Chromecast. The food in the restaurant both at breakfast and in the evening was very good. The airport shuttle runs every half hour and takes less than 15 minutes.

Although the hotel sent an email asking for pre-registration it didn't include any information about the airport shuttle. On arrival at the airport I phoned the hotel but reception was busy and the person who answered the call said someone would call back . They didn't. I phoned again and this time got reception who told me that the shuttle departs from Bus Zone 16 at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour.

great location and good for over night stay

the bar staff were rude. he was an older man, fair hair and not Irish on the night I stayed. he said he had run out of my sparkling wine, offered no alternative about from “look at the wine list”. for a female solo traveller its uncomfy enough going to the bar alone, without being then faced with unhelpful, unfriendly, bar staff with a can’t be bothered attitude. I left the bar without a purchase because of him and lack of customer service.

The staff were really friendly. The hotel room & bathroom were very nice, clean everything we needed. The food in the restaurant absolutely delicious 10 out of 10! And really lovely restaurant staff! Complimentary airport shuttle great!

The mattress on the bed! Oh what a shame I have to say a bad thing but honestly the twin beds we got were tiny think 2'6 really and pushed together but the mattresses oh lord they were the worst we've ever slept on(actually we didn't sleep too uncomfortable) Metro your hotel is so friendly, lovely ambience, delicious food, but you are so let down by the mattresses!!

Super well located with free shuttle bus to the airport at anytime of the day (even late and early). Close to Santry by walking distance to good cafes and a few shops ( even though NOT a touristic neighborhood) Very clean with daily room cleaning Spacious enough room with all necessary amenities, free tea and coffee. In house restaurant and bar. They sell power adapters which was super useful Price is okay

Nothing. All was good. The neighborhood is not the best in Dublin area but it’s 10 minutes from Swords, Malahide etc, so very good option to explore that nice area on a budget.

Great hotel! Surprised in a very positive way. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And an armchair in the room is a very nice solution that not all hotels offer. The view is also interesting - you can watch the traffic from a height while sitting in an armchair. A very good desk for doing work, stylish furniture and nice room lighting. Free and quick airport transfer is a big bonus! Definitely choose this hotel if you need to stay near the airport. You can also take (or arrive with) a public bus from city center. Bus stop is next to the hotel.

Reception staff was very polite and professional. Room was good size, comfortable, and clean. We booked this to be close to the airport for a morning flight. Bonus that there is a free shuttle. Bar/restaurant was good with various menu options.

The shuttle was late and very full. There was concern we would not all fit, but driver said the hotel would pay for a taxi if we didn't. Ended up there were just enough seats. We had to load and off load our own luggage, but other than that, the shuttle was fine. There did not seem like much to do in the hotel area, but as we arrived just to sleep, we ate at the hotel and left in the morning.

My partner and I stayed for 1 night for the Coldplay concert, and were disappointed that we weren’t at the hotel longer because it was very, very nice. We paid quite a lot naturally because places tend to inflate prices during these big events, so curious to know how much our stay would’ve usually been without the concert though. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were great, the bathrooms were nice, the beds are comfy, the food in the restaurant is very nice. Checkout is a nice late time of 12pm too, which is usually 10/11am at the hotels. There is also a free shuttle to/from Dublin airport which the hotel will arrange for you. I just wish we knew this before we paid €20 to get to the hotel from the airport, but our journey back to airport was free! Overall, 11/10 hotel. I love Dublin, so next time I come, this hotel will definitely be getting booked again.

Nothing to dislike.

We stayed for one-night after our late evening flight on New Years Eve arrived in Dublin. The shuttle was still running and it was short ride to the hotel. We got an upgrade to a bigger room, which had a second bedroom with bunkbeds for children, if needed. The main bedroom was very large and comfortable. We had booked breakfast and it was very delicious and filling, with lots of choices and fresh fruit. Great way to start the day!

This big room had very large windows that didn't insulate very well, so the room was a bit cold. Because there was a hallway between the bedrooms and the bath, there was a light that you could not turn off, which was a bit annoying when using the toilet in the middle of the night. But that was a small inconvenience.

Restaurant/Bar staff friendly and efficient. Shuttle service availability enticing, but needs to meet practical realities

Some Front Desk/Lobby staff not that friendly. Despite repeated inquiries over 3 days from different front desk staff whether the Airport could drop the passengers off in the departure areas, There were conflicting answers, but the supposed Senior repeatedly said no. The shuttle only drops off at Zone 16. The main reason given was that the Police are enforcing a recently enacted law - "no shuttle bus drops in front of the terminals", this was not true. During our check-out, we took a Taxi. When we were inside the Departure Terminal, we noticed the Metro Hotel Shuttle drop-off all passengers and left within 3 minutes. This can be a game changer with future patrons. Suggestion: Provide microwave and small fridge in rooms

We spent less than 12 hours in this lovely hotel and wished we had more time - it was cozy, comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed! The free airport shuttle is incredibly helpful (it's 2-3 buses otherwise), the food at The Lounge is delicious (though $$$) and the staff are lovely.

Nothing really, though we spent less than 12 hours here. The only two remarks are that the neighbourhood surrounding the hotel seemed rough (don't explore at night?) and this is (quite obviously) not a good choice for accommodations if you're looking to explore the city (transit to the city would be long).
