Great family hotel. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great pool. Nice size room. Great location for Dublin and Liffey Valley
The facilities couldn’t cope with the size of hotel. There are over 700 rooms, the restaurant, bar and breakfast room were too small. Also not enough seating in the evening. Saying that food was good and we always got served at the bar.

The staff were amazing especially Tina and Lisa the manager, they couldn't have been more helpful, we had dinner in the restaurant the night we arrived and the water Zack was just brilliant, asking if we needed more of anything, so attentive, beautiful food and very reasonable, the rooms were lovely and we had plenty of room, it was spotlessly clean, the facilities were great with a pool and gym on site it was so convenient, 5/7 minute walk to Liffey valley shopping centre. I would highly recommend this hotel for excellence in customer service and facilities I'm looking forward to visiting again
Absolutely nothing, looking forward to visiting again , so convenient to everything

the bed was super comfortable and we had a fridge and we were downstairs. I could not hear any noise around and I knew it was so busy on that particularly weekend.. for the kids the swimming pool is an highlight and of course the shopping center.
we didnt book the restaurant because the year before it was a nightmare with the service it was too expensive for what we were eating and we were waiting for hours to get our food and drinks, also we think the breakfast is too expensive for a orange juice and a toast bread kids wont eat a full irish breakfast and they have to pay full price.

The hotel was clean staff friendly , food was nice . Rooms clean and beds comfy.
I booked two rooms however my daughters room there was a mix up and she was put in a room that was already occupied by a builder , my daughter is 14. The hotel did apologise and quickly resolved the problem however I'm still waiting on my 25%refund as promised by hotel. Little disappointing that it has'nt been sorted

The reception staff were amazing and very helpful, the facilities were great including the spa facilities (sadly jacuzzi wasn’t working), our hairdryer was broken when we arrived and a new one was sorted within an hour, we booked a cot which wasn’t in the room on arrival but we phoned down and one was brought up within 5mins and even made up the sofa bed for us too. There is a small walk to bus stops into the city centre however bare in mind at peak times it can take up to 45 mins to get there, a short walk up to the shopping centre which was lovely and across the road there is a Starbucks, kfc etc. Also the airport hopper bus collects and drops you off at the hotel. I’d definitely stay here again.
The room wasn’t ever cleaned during our stay even though we put the sign up so towels weren’t changed, bins never emptied which isn’t ideal when you have a baby, the taps in the kitchenette didn’t work properly and the rooms were very hot.

Rooms are a great size. Rooms really dark at night to aid sleep. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was tremendous. Really good selection and the best sausages ever in a fry! Kids loved the pool. Really handy that pool supplies towels so didn’t need to pack towels for short stay. Ample car parking and only 8 euro a night was affordable. Really close to a big shopping centre with plenty of food options.
Rooms could have had air con as quite warm at night. Fans were supplied in the rooms but kids didn't like the noise of the fans. More floats for the pool would have been good.

The beds were comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and we really enjoyed having a little balcony.
Our sink was clogged for more than half of our stay. We asked three times before someone came to unclog it and then left the sink filthy. The lift from the parking garage closed at 11 pm. I’m disabled and since I am from America my disability parking placard does not work in Ireland. So I had to go out through the car exit to get to the lobby. The pool closed rather early. Especially for summertime when it doesn’t even get dark until quite late.

The staff were very helpful and approachable, the girls on reception were so kind ensuring the kids had colouring books. Patrick was top class, extremely helpful and friendly, provided great customer care in making us feel at ease on holidays with kids! Levina in the restaurant was brilliant, so on the ball and helpful. The pool was fantastic! Right size nice temperature for smallies! Changing rooms were very clean and spacious. The kids menu was lovely great choice in mains and deserts, breakfast was lovely! The fridges in the room were very handy also!
The bar is quite small, after the food it can be hard to get a seat in the bar. Maybe as a suggestion if they opened another area or room and had a little kiddies disco it would be somewhere that parents could go to get a little longer out of the evening and not have the little people interfere with somebody who wants a quiet and relaxing evening in the hotel. Just a suggestion all in all everything was brillant!

The convenience to the M50 is what attracted me to the Clayton Liffey Valley however the pricing was good (when compared to other hotel options in the 'mad' Dublin market !) . The bathroom size (in particular the bath size !) was impressive and the bed comfort was excellent too
The number of staff in the restaurant on a Saturday evening - those that were on performed heroically but the queue to get into the restaurant and the waiting time suggested there just weren't enough people on duty to cope. Another weird thing was that in-room TV didn't offer BBC 1 , , BBC 2 , ITV or Channel 4 but weirdly Netflix and YouTube were available on the TV

I have stayed in the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley a number of times and I'm always very impressed. The staff are amazing! So friendly and helpful and greet you with a smile. The hotel is in a great location near to the shopping centre, cinema and restaurants and easy to get a bus into the city. I had a lovely big room with a balcony, bright, spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything needed was provided. It would have been nice to have some water in the fridge but luckily I always bring my own when I stay in a hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and I'll definitely be back
