The receptionist was lovely, friendly, smiling & very welcoming upon arrival. The barman was also welcoming (Thomas), knowledgeable & up to date on the area. The choice of breakfast cereals, juices & breads was supberb. Kids loved the pancakes made fresh & the breakfast in itself set us up for the day. Thank you

We were a family, so my husband and our son were in one room, and myself and our daughter were in another room. Room 220, the wallpaper is peeled off at the top corner of the room. That should be repaired immediately as it's just doesn't look right. Room 203, there was a lot of dust around the light switches, plus the carpet is lifted by the bottom of the bed. I tripped over it twice, so that too should be fixed. After all, the presentation is everything.

Situated 30 min by car from Dublin City Center in the wonderful town of Balbriggan. 4 min walk from train station, beach and park. Shopping possibilities nearby. Free parking in private indoor parking. The staff were most helpful to accomodate our wishes. The room and bathroom were very spacious, the bed very comfortable. Very clean as well. Kettle with tea and coffee and cookies were provided. Oldtime style furniture gave an elegant appeal, simply loved it! The Pub inside the Hotel served delicious food and pints at reasonable prices. It´s a Must when you are there. The pub is frequented by locals also adding to the cozy atmosphere. There are elevators to all levels. We will choose this hotel again anytime.

The only thing missing to perfect it was a refrigerator.

Rooms here are great, the bed was super comfortable as were the towels and linens. WiFi was fast enough to get some work done, and we very much appreciated the breakfast buffet!

There is no elevator access between the parking garage and the hotel and there is very little space to drop off luggage/people in front. The elderly in our party found it difficult to walk to and from the car, especially with their luggage.

hotel was perfect central location and within walking distance to the pubs beach park and supermarket. Staff were welcoming and very helpful, we needed a put up bed for our daughter in the room and staff had been to put it up and made it within half hour of asking. The bar in the hotel was brilliant good atmosphere and staff were brilliant. Breakfast was lovely. We didn’t have any other meals in hotel however what we saw of the food people were having in the bar looked good.

Everything was excellent, the food, the staff and the rooms. the only thing that was not great, was our rooms were very noisy. The traffic and the Saturday night revelerie outside our windows was very loud. We had a very early morning flight and none of us got much sleep due to the noise.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We booked very last minute and they had no twin rooms available without stairs (my granny has to use a rollator to help her walk), so they offered to switch us the next day as soon as some became available. They changed the bed in my room to a fresh one after my daughters nappy sadly leaked on it, and even tucked the cuddly toys in with their heads and arms poking out, which the kids loved. They asked the kids all sorts of questions and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about making our stay as pleasant as possible!

It was very hot and it would have been great to have the option to sleep under a sheet, but the beds unfortunately didn’t have a top sheet, just a (very comfortable) duvet.

We stayed in a triple room, it was bigger than some 2 bedroom apartments! It had a seating area with a dining table, chairs, a couch and a second tv! In the bathroom there was a bath and a shower, plenty of towels and soap/shower gel/shampoo etc. Comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff at Reception. Would stay again & recommend to friends and family.

Not a negative, just a recommendation for small improvements - there was no toilet brush. Also, a mini fridge would be a nice addition, to keep water/juice/milk cold.

Good location. Close to the train station. Fabulous beach nearby.

Our room faced the main street and I was woken by the traffic noise from 6am onwards even with the windows closed. I am aware this is beyond the hotels control but possibly rooms facing to the back may be quieter. Also we arrived back from a concert in Malahide about 11.30pm and the barman told us food was not available although there are chocolate and crisp dispenser machine..Local chippy also just closed. If we had known this earlier we could have bought sandwiches in advance.

Lovely location only a short walk to the seaside. The staff is accommodating and cheerful. The rooms were large and nicely furnished.

I was first given a room that smelled of cigarettes. I don’t think anyone smoked in it, but that a smoker stayed there the previous night imparting the smoke smell from clothing and the room just needed more airing out. However the front desk clerk immediately changed my room to one that was more than satisfactory. Well done!

We arrived earlier than check-in and they were able to assist us as our room was available. The room was very spacious. They offered underground complimentary parking.

Unfortunately the kettle in the room seemed to have been rinsed out with disinfectant which made the tea taste awful. They did however replace the kettle whilst we were out. There was also a strange smell in the room, the carpet had a huge stain near the radiator so I suspect the radiator may have been leaking.
