We were looking to stay at a hotel or pub in the area but having left our booking until the last minute there wasn't much available. We weren't expecting much from Sunrise View but what a find it turned out to be. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a scenic location. Michaela and her husband were the most delightful, charming, interesting people and it was a pleasure to meet them. It was like staying with long lost friends.

The house is a little remote but as long as you know that beforehand it's not a problem. It's easy enough to find if you follow Michaela's directions and there's plenty of parking.

it was a beautiful place, with exceptional views, the bed was so comfortable, the room had everything you could possibly need, the bathroom was stocked with all toiletries, it was so clean, the breakfast table was the best I’ve ever seen, it was laid out for a king, Micheala was a wonderful lady, so welcoming and warm, I have never stayed or am likely to stay in such a fabulous B&B again, we were sad to leave, if we are ever in the area again, we will most definitely look this place up again xx

Wonderful welcome from the host who had thought of absolutely everything a traveller might need, including two little bottles of wine for a night cap. She was also a mine of information about local beauty spots and short cuts that google appeared to know nothing about. We also had a comfy lounge where we were able to meet and chat with other guests. Breakfast was superb and we lingered for ages, all of us chatting together about a whole host of things.

Lovely property overlooking the water - watched the sunrise as the name promises! Wonderful host Michaela very helpful and knowledgeable with lots if great tips and info for visiting the surrounding areas - the guide book was wonderful! Meticulous attention to detail in the room and on the breakfast table in the morning - made to feel really welcome and breakfast was special - thank you Michaela - felt like we were leaving an old friend's house when we left! Will definitely be back and highly recommend

We had an amazing time here. The room was really well decorated, so clean and had everything you could need incase you forgot something. We had a great nights sleep. The host Michaela was so helpful and friendly and was really helpful telling us about different spots to visit. She even helped me find my lost purse which I forgot in the room haha Thanks Michaela! The breakfast was lovely and the views from her house were spectacular, we were extremely lucky with the weather so it looked even better. Also bonus the dogs were so cute and friendly. :D

Everything was perfect!

The house is located in a very quite and panoramic area, close by DownPatrick head. The room and the bathroom had all the comforts you can wish for (jacuzzi, wine, par fumes, hairdryer exc..). Plus the owner of the house, Michaela, is extremely welcoming and loveliest person in the world. The breakfast was on the highlights of our holiday! Highly recommended, we wish we could have stayed more!!

Wonderful stay at sunrise view. From check-in to check-out, a really lovely experience. The small details were there and well thought out - ideas for walks/hikes, small toiletries provided, parking, coffee and tea in the room, etc. Breakfast was phenomenal. Would highly recommend!

Michaela is an exceptional host.All our needs were catered for.There was wine and snacks in the room .The bathroom was well stocked even with new tooth brushes and tooth floss.Breakfast next morning was delicious as we sat in the kitchen looking out at the sea .Sea View lives up to its name and is a hidden gem.Its well worth the 25 min trip from Ballina with beaches and cliffs less than a km away with great accommodation where we felt spoiled .Michaela also had a comprehensive local guide book put together and recommendations for restaurants in Killala and Ballina

Most friendly host and a great room with all amenities. A full Irish breakfast was very delicious and keeps you going all day! i think on a sunny day the view will be stunning. unfortunately we had a lot of rain and clouds. will come again!

Bed was a little short for my length, but that could be overcome. The location is a bit remote. (just 15 minute drive from nearest town)

To be honest this has been our best accomodation so far. The place to stay was excelent. So quiet and amazing. Everything clean and like new. Just couple steps from ocean. Michaela is so friendly. Gave us a lot of useful tips for traveling around. We had an excelent breakfast and Michaela was so kind and got up early to prepare breakfast for us so we could continue with our easly round Ireland trip.

Nothing bad. If I knew earlier that this place is so amazing then we would stay few more days.
