Absolutely everything. Superb location, comfiness of the studio and decor of entire place was exceptional. Food, drinks menu and staff were absolutely phenomenal. And the fact it’s super dog friendly really made it for myself and my dog. They have thought of every little detail to make your stay seamless and easy, mighty impressed. I loved the Moroccan’ish style and the safety and quietness of it all as soon as you stepped in behind the cast iron gates, away from hustle and bustle. The staff really make this place. My favourite is Mary Delargey - what an absolute gem & treasure she is to have working there. Thank you for your great hospitality. Will most definitely be back and make it my go to place to stay from now on.

You could not fault this stay if your tried. And shame on anyone who does pick holes. It’s excellent.

Amazing location: walking distance to the bus/tram stops, city center, and sights, as well as to shops and supermarkets. Great and considerate design of the room itself: it's very elegant yet comfy (lights with dimmers, not cluttered room, but space is enough for everything, relaxing colors, practically everything you need for a stay is present - from the pans to the iron). Very nice bedding and a comfy bed in general.

Somehow I missed that breakfast was not included. But the main disadvantage to me was too rare room service (every 6 days). Literally, dust was flying in the room by the end of this period. Of course, you can take a broom and empty the bins yourself, but that's not precisely the experience you are looking forward to during vacation time. Hence next time I would stay here for max 3 days. Also you are expected to be able to cook in the room, hence I believe, some basic staff in products should be present. By basic I mean salt and pepper, for example.

I loved that the front desk was manned 24/7, the smoking atrium within the secured property, the coffee bar, and of course the real bar. The decor was beautiful throughout and the property was clean and entire staff was absolutely lovely. The location was perfect for us to walk to all of out excursion meet up locations as well as several main things we wanted to see. Rooms were spacious and as an American that is used to unpacking on Vacation I was pleasantly surprised that there were a few cubbies I could use to unpack my clothes. The rooms really felt like an apartment with a separate living room area with a small table to eat meals you chose to eat in your room or even cook in the room. Plan on visiting Dublin again with more of our family in 2024, and will be choosing Zanzibar Locke as our choice for lodging.

The trash bins were a bit small, but that's more if a me issue than a Zanzibar issue.

Modern, visually appealing building with an extremely helpful staff. The location is perfect...walking access to tons of restaurants, pubs, shopping and attractions. Our unit was awesome...rain head shower, smart TV, A/C that actually worked, kitchen with everything you could need. Comfortable sitting area and plenty of storage. The restaurant/bar on the ground floor are great for a quick coffee or cocktail. We were in Ireland for the Notre Dame/Navy game. The property was completely sold out but never seemed loud or chaotic.

No complaints,,,none!

Wonderful studio accommodation right near the heart of Dublin. We had the smallest (cheapest) room, but it was more than adequate with space to spread out, a useful kitchenette, great bathroom space and comfortable bed. Despite being right next to the elevator we heard nothing except a floor arrival ping after 7:30am. The staff were friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Although our room did not have laundry facilities it was free to use the ones on the first floor, with included washing powder. All in all an excellent stay and if we ever returned to Dublin, we’d hope to stay here again - the AirPort Express buses stopped so close by, we saved on taxi fares to and from the airport too.

If I’m going to be picky, better water pressure in The shower, but it was ok.

the location of the Locke was great. It was close to many of the attractions that we wanted to see as well as a variety of restaurants, pubs, etc. We appreciate the security procedures that are in place. It made for a very comfortable stay. Our studio, both the sleeping area and bathroom were spotless. The restaurant was great both for breakfast and dinner.

the only "complaint" we have is the lack of paper goods for the kitchen. I think it would be beneficial to have at least a roll of paper towels and some napkins. Also, we were there for 4 nights and ran out of tea and sugar. A larger selection would have been very much appreciated. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Zanzibar Locke to family and friends.

the location was great, especially for our first time in Ireland and Dublin. Also, the facilities are nice and there is a good. restaurant we practically lived at each day haha. The staff is friendly and super thoughtful in that they were so wonderful helping my mom who is older and has difficulty getting around quickly, and they surprised us with a sweet welcome birthday chocolates and Guinness on them because my mom and I were both celebrating our birthdays. ☺️

Not their fault but the wi-fi went out while there and in the whole district for a few days, which was not good because part of the whole reason I booked that location is so that we have access to high speed wi-fi for meeting my remote work obligations. I missed an important meeting because of the issue. Plus it costs us more on our personal data plan. The other thing was that our room didn’t come equipped with utensils 🍴 so there was no way for us to cook our own meals (which was another main purpose of booking this location).

I stayed in a studio apartment where kitchenette facilities were brilliant and saved me a lot from eating out. Room was extremely clean and I LIKED that it didn't have daily housekeeping and we could simply request this as needed. The staff were at the ready all the time to assist with anything (including daily service if you wish for it). Location is on the 'quiet' side of Temple Bar district, so easy access to all sites (everything <15 mins walk) but it was cosy and quiet for sleeping.

There was nothing I didn't like about this place! I LIKED that there was no daily housekeeping, but those expecting hotel-type service (e.g., made bed, new towels, etc.) daily might be disappointed. But seriously folks... if you can't use a towel a few times and pop the duvet up each morning somethings more likely wrong with you than with them! So much better for the environment too. I loved their whole approach.

We arrived very early in the morning so had to wait a bit for the room. The staff was great and got us a room as soon as one became available. They were soooo helpful and friendly. The room was great and clean. The hotel is near everything. We hung at the bar a couple of times, and both the bartenders (or mixologist) :) and waif staff were great! I will highly recommend it to everyone. Oh .. almost forgot.. the hotel included transfer from DUB. Our driver was amazing! On our way to the hotel, he pointed out every place of interest. It was like having our own private tour.

I loved everything. Nothing to report.

location; the unit was self catering; good kitchenette with washer/dryer & dishwasher; beds were comfortable; water pressure was good in shower; the restaurant attached Bazara served tasty dishes. overall ambience and design were very hip and modern; good sound insulation; 24 hour desk

The unit needed more light fixtures. It was dimly lit. There was also a lack of clear instructions on how things in the unit operated (everything was too high tech); only discovered on the second last day that a clipboard hanging up had a QR code for one to scan on how things worked; but it was on the last page on that clipboard. It should have been more obvious like a large sign above it perhaps? or the checkin person should have highlighted it. The kitchen cupboards though nicely designed, their door handles were difficult to grab onto to open (they were not arthritic hand friendly).
