Fantastic location in the heart of Dublin. Hotel served an excellent breakfast. Room was well-appointed. There were quite a few tv stations available. Staff members were very friendly and very helpful.
Room was noisy. While we stayed on Monday and Tuesday nights, quite a bit of pub-related noise filtered into our room. In the early morning, we were awakened by noises such as ambulance sirens. the groan of street cleaning trucks and even some seagulls.

Very cosy and great vibe throughout the whole hotel. The bed was very comfy, the juice and the fruit at breakfast was very fresh and tasty There was a fan in the room too and the tv had netflix and youtube they provide ear plugs for the street noise - the hotel is in a great place close to popular pubs and right next to a tesco which is handy
the cooked breakfast elements were greasy and not very nice and the bagels were very very stale. knowing it was a special occasion, the hotel had stated that the would leave chocolates in the room however they forgot - i have not marked them down for this though as this was an extra. Staff were nice but not particularly friendly/welcoming

This property is absolutely stunning. The lounge area is lovely to chill in, good for breakfast. Perfect location for a trip to dublin right by the night life and can walk to everything. Security on the door and that was really nice, felt safe.
Downside is that as it is in the centre the nights can be a little loud, they have put in a double glazing to take some of the sound. But it’s an old building so some sounds does travel in from the outside. If you are not planning on hitting the night life and bars and being in bed on a Saturday deffo take some ear plugs. But other than that, this place is great.

Clean room in an excellent t location. While it was no bother to us, I do feel I need to mention the noise outside as some may prefer a quieter stay. Staff was very friendly. It was warm outside during our stay and the rooms do not have air conditioning. We were on the fourth floor and it was uncomfortably warm, even with a fan. Otherwise, we loved our choice!

The location was perfect, the room was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was tiny, with very little storage space. The wifi in the room was so bad that I had to use my phone to set up a mobile hotspot - unacceptable in the 21st century. The water pressure in the shower was poor. There was no air conditioning so I had to keep the windows open and was woken at 7 with the empty bottles being being disposed of. One of the guys on the door (not the Reception, which was in the basement) was a bit grumpy - very different experience to the super friendly Receptionists.

Facilities were lovely! Clean and comfortable rooms, fabulous lobby area.
Noisy area to stay in...but that has to do with the street we stayed on vs. the actual hotel. If you don't mind some noise from partiers out on the streets til late into night - then no problem. Having never been to Dublin before our stay, we did not realize the extent of the party atmosphere in the Temple Bar district. Felt like college spring break every night.

Great location. Beautiful underground lobby and restaurant.
Temperature controls were wonky in 2 out of our 3 rooms which left some of our party unable to sleep because it was so hot. We had to sleep with the windows open but that made it noisy. The young woman working at the restaurant check in was rude and refused to seat my 18 year old daughter unless she paid for breakfast. My daughter tried to explain it was included in the rate, but the hostess refused to look up her name or room number to confirm. I had to go down and speak with her where she was totally flippant and unapologetic. Obviously no big deal in the scheme of things, but still a very unfortunate encounter and unpleasant way to start our day. Then she kept walking by our table and glaring.

This hotel was conviniently located on one of the most lively and active places of Dublin's night and day life. It was both extremely practical, yet of good quality. Most of the times we sacrifice one or the other, but the temple bar inn met all of the criteria. Both clean, well located, modern, affordable and comfortable. We even considered extending our stay in Dublin for it, instead of going someplace else in Galway. The room was always extremely clean by the maids, with fresh towels, new bedding and toiletries and the heater worked wonders in Dublin's - 1° degrees Celsius cold weather. There's a smart TV in your room, where you can longing or cast your most loved a streaming. Huge bed. The security in the front desk was exceptionally kind and helpfull (thank you Alec from Poland :) for being so kind).
The shower head had warm water but weak water pressure. When we showered it felt like tinker only, and the sink/wash basin was. Really tiny

I liked the proximity to my college, and to transport. The room was clean and warm. The reception area was welcoming. The restaurant environment was pleasant and clean. In general, I was very pleased.
There was no hot water in the morning and it was only restored as I was leaving. This was a big disappointment and no compensation offered. The food in the restaurant wasn't great...fish and chips with a side of onion rings and garlic mushrooms. The food was tepid, the mushrooms soggy, cold and no garlic taste, and the onion rings were also cold and very oily. The bottle of wine consumed instead took away the pain.

Amazing location. The 200 year old pub opposite where I got my first Guinness of the trip is beautiful. Tesco next door is great. Gym and pool 1 min walk away good too. Staff lovely. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast until 11am is very useful for those sleeping in too. I dislike it a lot when hotels make breakfast finish early, when often you are on a trip to relax and yet can't sleep in or you miss breakfast. You don't have that issue here!
There was an odd creak in the room in the middle of the night, nobody working around or anything else. I thought it might be the wind so shut the window but still persisted. Very strange! No courtesy water in bottle in the bedroom is a bit mean for the price you pay but there is a tesco next door, so next morning I did that. There is a 2 euro a 500mls bottle vending machine as well if you really want it that badly!
