Location to access to the center of the city and airport bus stop.
The card key often didn't work well to activate elevator and enter the room. Asked help several times at the reception staffs, but some of the staffs were helpless. They even said it was our fault how we kept the key card in the pocket. I have never experienced such troubles with card keys in other hotels, especially at 4 stars hotel, and it annoyed us a lot. In general, all the facilities were old at the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Fleet Hotel in Dublin, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff, making me feel right at home. First and foremost, I was impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or promptly attending to any requests I had, their attention to detail truly made a difference. Moreover, the hotel's infrastructure and amenities were top-notch. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the vibrant city of Dublin. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep, and the modern amenities provided added convenience to my stay. Additionally, the hotel's central location was incredibly convenient for exploring all that Dublin has to offer. Situated in the heart of the city, it was within walking distance of many popular attractions, restaurants, and shops, allowing me to immerse myself in the local culture with ease. Overall, my experience at The Fleet Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and prime location make it the perfect choice for anyone visiting Dublin. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and look forward to returning in the future.

Location is key to this property! Close to all attractions, public transit restaurants, pubs, and the Dart. The hotel itself has all necessary amenities. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast had all you needed to get a good start to the day. We ate at the restaurant 2 times for a light evening snack and the pizzas were very good. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and always smiling. Some people have written reviews that say the hotel is noisy. That is not true! Of course if you are referring to the outside then that is a different story. Remember when booking here you are in the centre of the busiest tourist part and if you don’t like the hustle and bustle of that then don’t book this hotel or any others in the area. If we return to Dublin I will book The Fleet again!
Nothing to not like.

The location of the hotel was excellent for everything in Dublin. We could have taken buses or trams from right outside the hotel but it was all so convenient that we walked everywhere. Hotel staff were helpful and attentive. Car park was just across the street, with a cheaper rate for hotel guests by getting a ticket from Reception. Don't try to sat-nav directly to the hotel itself though, as the Dublin one-way system is a nightmare! Navigate to the Park Rite car park directly (take your life in your hands traversing Dublin's complex bus/cycle lanes along the riverbank) and then walk to the hotel which is only 100 yards from the car park. Our room was very comfortable and well-equipped, although a bit of a corridor maze when we were first taken up to the room but we memorised it after a day or so. :) We were in room 354 which overlooked Westmoreland Street, and we were surprised at how quiet it was at night (restricted traffic street, so only trams, buses, taxis and cycles). Very nice walk-in shower, no bath. A lovely buffet breakfast was included in our rate, and they had everything you could ask for (hot and cold), a great start to the day. Overall a really nice stay, and would thoroughly recommend it.
Some other guests we spoke to were facing over Fleet Street, and they found the noise from the Temple Bar area pubs and bars was annoying, so ask for a quiet section of the hotel if you're not the sort of people who are going to be out partying all night. Our room was overlooking Westmoreland St and was fine. The hotel is built up from a number of older buildings so there are lots of level changes and little stairway sections getting to the rooms, but it's fine once you've worked out your route.

The room was comfortable, without being luxurious. The bathroom had recently been refreshed and was to a high standard. The location was great, right in the heart of Temple Bar. All the staff we met were very friendly. I would recommend taking the breakfast ahead of time. One thing to note is that you can order poached or fried eggs from the staff. It wasn't immediately obvious at first!
The bedroom itself was a bit drab with signs of wear and tear. It wasn't the end of the world. It just stood out relative to the high standard of the rest of the property.

The hotel is really beautiful, especially the lobby. The position is just perfect for going everywhere and in front of it there is a supermarket which is so useful, especially for buying water and not carrying it around for long. The staff was friendly and helpful, like everyone in Ireland actually. Overall, everything was super clean, comfortable and modern and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
I had higher expectations from the breakfast menu for a hotel like this, I think it was somehow limited in terms of wishing to find more healthy & non-meat options, still was okay. Due to some issues that I won´t mention here we had to change the room, the first one was great but the second one had a bad smell and keeping the window open was not helping, clean air is essential for us for a good sleep and rest, such a pity. The staff offered us our old room, we just had no desire to go again back and forth so we made it work.

I LOVED the location of the Fleet. It could not be closer to everything in Temple Bar but also to fun surrounding neighborhoods. The lobby was also a lovely retreat from the crazy Temple Bar area. After a fun night out, my sister and I would grab a night cap from the lobby bar which was also open late. It was a lovely way to wind down after a night out and the chairs in the lobby and the decor were extra cozy. Breakfast was delicious and had everything we needed to start the day. The room was small but fine for two people.
It was very warm while I was there and the rooms don't have AC. That was stated but even with the windows open and a fan it was a bit stuffy at night. The bathroom was small and hard to move around in the shower.

Continental breakfast everyday not just the weekends, and it was actually delicious and Irish! The location is so ideal if you're looking to go around The downtown area of Dublin or take any day trips as your right by all modes of transportation. The lobby was beautiful and they have a great smoking area on the first floor. The staff were all super kind! Everyone was super attentive & room service was so quick. The showers and bathrooms are also very great.
The only downside is the rooms were a little chilly (so I'd ask for extra blankets if you're staying in the winter) and because my room was on the 1st floor up facing the alley it was a little loud with riff raft on the weekends.

The staff were excellent - friendly but professional. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean which I liked and the Reception area was beautifully furnished, definitely my sort of place. The only disappointment was when I arrived the room I was allocated (room 223 i think) was very dark with no view at all from the window only a concrete wall. I found it very depressing so I went straight away to the receptionist and he called the manager and they moved me to a much nicer room (308). They were very good about it. Breakfast was very good.

This hotel has a beautiful reception/bar area which we made use of on our last day, the staff are all polite and helpful. The location is central to everything you need in Dublin, on the same road as the temple bar with lots of other great bars and restaurants. Just over the bridge from the massive shopping area and round the corner from all the main bus, tram and coach stops. The breakfast in this hotel was gorgeous too, glad we paid the little bit extra for it to be included.
Only minor, but the elevator could do with an upgrade. It takes ages to arrive and is quite small. We'd have used the stairs but our hotel key cards where temperamental with the locks on the doors to the hallway from the stairs, so opted to use the lift mostly, but it was slow.
