The staff was quite helpful, also when we forgot to bring our electric outlet adapter. The room was comfortable and it had a nice view. The location is very good, super close to touristic places and monuments, and it is located in the Temple Bar area, which is quite very nice for going out at night. The bus stop to get to the airport is also quite close. There is a nice pub next door where you can have dinner (with some live music if you're into that) and a nice café on the other side where you can have breakfast too. I would stay here again.

The elevator was slow and small, the pillows were a big too big and not as "foamy" as I would have liked. The sink in the bathtub was quite slow, so you'd end up with a small swimming pool for your feet after showering. They didn't have toiletries like a comb.

Location was great, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Teeling distillery 20 min, guiness storehouse was about 30 min. Less than 10 to the cathedral and castle. Right next door one side is a great pub called Darkey Kelly's, go early, it gets really busy, other side is a nice little breakfast cafe that opens at 8.30, great food. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were super helpful. Bed was pretty comfy, ensuite was large. Shower was super powerful although it took us a while to figure out taps are not hot and cold ! FYI they are temp and throttle. Nice to have a quality coffee machine, shame the cups don't fit without removing the driptray. Small annoyance having to ask for more milk all the time, supplies seemed a little stingy.

Only thing I really missed was having a small fridge. Bit of an essential to have a good supply of cold bottled water all night when you are in the home of guiness and whiskey! Our room was also at the back of the hotel, over the courtyard of the pub next door so it got a little noisy at times. Tbh that didn't bother us too much as we tend to travel with earplugs anyway. It may be that this is the difference between a standard double and a deluxe room. I couldn't see much difference in the options listed other than aircon which I didn't think would be an issue in April.

Room was perfectly adequate and nicely quiet. location is 10 out of 10 for a city centre stay. Reception staff were extremely polite and helpful. location is perfect for city centre.

The breakfast experience was very efficient and the buffet was good, coffee was lovely. All good except for the hot food which was like rubber. Particularly the beans and the fried eggs. the beans were totally dried up. i asked the server if i poached eggs were an option, she said 'no'. i asked if i could have some fresh beans and she said she would go and ask the chef. she then came back and said he was busy and it would be at least 10 minutes. i got the distinct impression there was no chef and that she was just fobbing me off. i ate my breakfast and by the time i was finished there was still no sign of the beans. i understand that they were probably trying to keep waste to a minimum but a tin of beans wouldn't break the bank!

Very nice place. Beds were very comfortable. Only complaint we would have was the temperature was very warm. We don't handle sleeping in too much heat. But other than that it was a very nice place. They were very helpful with us finding places and rides. The location was almost a 5 minute walk to temple bar area. Hip on Hop off buses around the corner from the hotel and a few nice pubs right next to and around the hotel. Very nice area around the hotel and close to the Liffey and the Dublin Castle. Would highly recommend this hotel and definitely stay again. Have to visit Eric in the lobby bar and let him choose some cocktails for you. Extremely friendly and happy to make your experience very enjoyable.

Just the temperature of the room. Maybe just our room?

The room was pretty spacious considering that I booked a single-room. The bathroom was nice and modern. The mattress was one of the most comfortable once I’ve ever slept on and the little bed nook was super cozy. The internet (wifi) was super fast and the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. Also an amazing location with lots of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and sights right around the corner, but still not to loud. I did not try the breakfast.

I had one window in my room which was in a very high ceiling above the bed and could not be blacked out. Therefore I would recommend bringing a sleep mask, if that’s something that bothers your sleep.

We stayed at the Handel at the beginning and end of our 2 week visit to Ireland. Both rooms were clean and nicely decorated with large bathrooms. The bedding was quite comfortable, and the in room storage, closet, and drawers were generous. The staff at the front desk is friendly and helpful.

The room was a little warm. The swing out window only opened a crack, so there wasn't much ventilation. We went for a drink at the bar in the lobby at 6pm but was told the bartender was on break. We waited a while but left to find another option.

The location is absolutely perfect. It’s a one minute walk to the river, about two minutes to temple bar central, there’s a wonderful pub downstairs, and a fantastic breakfast place next door we did not try the restaurant in the hotel and the coffee bar never seemed to be open, but we had coffee in our room so that’s perfect. there is also a church next door and the bells do you ring all night but it’s a wonderful church if you are looking for a service.

It’s not a dislike, but just know that the music from the pub will be heard in your room. They are usually done by about 1030 so it’s not too bad but just a warning if you go to bed early and want silence. The beds were comfortable but soft. The people who work at the front desk are friendly and helpful, but do not speak very good English so it’s very hard to communicate with them.

In the beginning I was placed at a room with a tiny desk. Since I was travelling for work, I told the woman at the reception that I need a proper desk so that I can work. Immediately she placed me into another room with spacious desk. That made my accommodation exceptional! The location was very convenient for me, breakfast really good and Dublin express airport bus stop is really close to the hotel. All hotel staff is polite and willing to serve/help you! Also, the room was warm during the night.

We both really liked the space of the room as well as the location the hotel was at, it really was a 5-10min leisurely walk to everything. The Temple Bar area was literally around the corner. The hotel was quiet, the staff was very friendly and helpful!

The only thing we had even the slightest issue with was the TV, It may not have even been at the fault of the hotel but there were not very many available channel options.

Everything was perfect! Especially the staff. They were very very helpful in every aspect. They used to warm my baby's food every morning so as to be able to take my baby's food with me during the day. Tap Water was free and used to fill in our bottles when required. They were very friendly as well. The hotel in general was very nice and was in excellent location! Highly recommended :)
