Amazing location in the heart of the Temple Bar district close to all tourist attractions. Despite this, the stay was nice and quiet with attentive staff who provided ice cream upon arrival. Rooms were nicely decorated despite it being an older hotel.

Our heater didn’t work but staff provided a portable heater for the time being. For the price, they could include breakfast or at the very least a discount on breakfast. TVs were outdated and not smart - would have been nice to watch Netflix or other streaming at night.

Really friendly staff. Super location in Temple Bar, literally in the middle of everything. Our room was spacious (family room) and immaculate. The hotel provides earplugs but the room was on level 3 and very quiet for being in the heart of temple bar.

The only complaints I can think of was the shower head was a bit broken and sprayed at a funny angle. Also the hotel breakfast was pricey so we opted to eat breakfast at a local cafe. The receptionist was very lovely and suggested some local alternatives.

Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Location was ideal for getting around.

The room was quite basic, without a fridge.

Location was perfect for our short one-night stay. The hotel had on-site bar/restaurant that had a fantastic performer each night. It was great that the hotel sent an email offering airport pick-up that was charged to the room. This was very convenient.

The hot water in the shower was sporadic and would generally shoot scalding hot water randomly during the shower. There wasn't any air conditioning in our room but we were not told until we called the desk asking where the thermostat was located. The room decor was a bit tired and more sparse than I anticipated for the price of the room.

What an absolutely perfect hotel! Perfect location, perfect staff, perfect facilities! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Temple Bar Hotel. The staff right from the getgo was warm and welcoming. Anything that we needed help with they were there to help. The hotel was going under renovations... This is understandable..and resulted in the water to be shut down to the building...this did inconvenience us a tad. But we were able to carry on without zero hiccups. Thank you Temple Bar for the beauty vacation. We will definitely stay there again!

Only that the water was shut down to the building. We had no water to shower for one day.....but understandable!

The Temple Bar Hotel is the perfect location for exploring Dublin. The rooms are nice and ours came with a fan. The bathroom is spacious and the beds are pretty good. This and the location are the primary reasons we chose to stay in this hotel again. Within walking distance is plenty of shopping, dining, tours, coffee, and if desired, drinking establishments. The breakfast is one of the best we experienced at a hotel in our trip and you should definitely add it to your booking. The staff is very nice and helpful.

NOTE: The Temple Bar area of Dublin is akin to The French Quarter in New Orleans and as such, you should expect to hear loud people late into the night. On this trip, we were awoken by arguing people in an alley. That is why the windows close and the hotel supplies ear plugs. It did not detract from our experience and we will stay here again.

The location was great! We were very close to many tourist destinations and the city was very walkable. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and addressed our concerns immediately and professionally. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable as well.

The noise was very loud at night which we knew would happen so we were aware of that due to being in a bar district. We just didn't expect the room walls to be super thin. We had to move rooms because we could hear the people in the next room having conversations like they were in our room. There was also a smell in the hall that was a mildew smell like wet carpet. Just be aware if you are with a family maybe looking elsewhere would be a better option.

Our rooms at the Temple Bar Hotel overlooked the interior courtyard instead of the busy street outside, so it was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were modern with the ability for the teenage girls to dry their hair. We liked being in the Temple Bar area for the restaurants and activities. We had supper in the restaurant and it was good. Some of us also ate in the bar for lunch and drinks and in the TOAST for breakfast. It was all good. The hotel held our bags for us so that we could do some more sightseeing after checkout. In addition, the hotel called the taxi for us. (By the way, this was out third or fourth stay in this hotel in the last 10 years. We like it that much.)

The triple room was not quite what we expected. It had a double bed with a single bunk bed overhead. Since the two teenage girls and I (age 76) were staying in the triple, it presented somewhat of a problem. I originally climbed into the bunk bed with the two teens below. I then ended up sleeping on the floor on the comforter. It was a lot of money for me to have to sleep on the floor. We went for breakfast about 20 minutes before the Toast closed. Therefore we were still eating the very good breakfast when closing time arrived. Apparently there was some kind of meeting or seminar scheduled soon after breakfast so while we were finishing our breakfast, staff was moving tables and chairs and setting up for what was happening next.
