We had a great time at Ard Einne, and experienced excellent hospitality. Very clean property, located at a picturesque location. All rooms are ocean-facing, and provide postcard views. The breakfast was amazing. Clodagh is a lovely host, and will promptly assist with any queries. It's away from the hustle and bustle of Kilronan, the nearest town. The place is also not filled with day-tourists, so its ideal if you like peace and quiet.

While being away from all the noise of the town is a plus, reaching the property can be a bit challenging. You need to hire a taxi, which charges 5EUR per seat, to reach here. Also, there are no restaurants nearby. So you need to get a taxi or hire a cycle if you want to head into town.

The host is lovely and very accommodating, the breakfast was gorgeous and she even organised our bikes to be brought to the B&B in the morning. Although the distance from the village to the house is quite long, especially if you’re already tired, there is a taxi service that you can use for a good price. The view is absolutely spectacular (I attached a pic of our room view(: ) and the rooms are very clean and cozy. Great value for money that’s for sure!

Nothing I didn’t like! It was a last minute booking (after our og accommodation cancelled on us) that exceeded my expectations :)

I considered the Ard Einne my home away from home during my stay. The room was spotless and the view from my window overlooked a tidal beach. Breakfast was delicious and I also loved sitting at the outdoor picnic bench later in the day with a sandwich I picked up from Spar’s in town. Clodagh was a great host who was always willing to make a suggestion for your daily activities whether it was a walk in the area or a bike ride to the other side of the island.

The property is tucked away and not in the thick of town/where other travelers are. It sits atop a hill that overlooks the water and has fantastic views of the sunrise. It is a smaller facility so it is very quiet and personal. Clodah was beyond helpful, giving us insights on what to visit, helping us connect with a local cab driver who took us everywhere we needed to go reliability and she was always available when we needed her. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. We truly loved staying here!

Ard Einne is a wonderful place to stay on Inishmore! Highly recommend. Clodadgh is very friendly and knowledgable and she helped me plan what to do there, including a great local music show. The room was very comfortable and Irish breakfast was delicious. If you want to rent a bike, they can have one dropped off at the house for you. It’s located on the far end of the island so very peaceful and away from all the day trip tourists. Beautiful views from the house, and it’s only a short walk to the coast and to some amazing sites and hikes, including St. Edna’s monastery just across the street in the cemetery. Thank you!

The hostess Clodagh was so friendly and accomadating .. made me feel so at home..million dollar views from room .lovely options for breakfast (warm homemade brown bread scones)lovely shared sitting room for guests to use ..bedroom lovely and warm first thing in.morning and at night .hotel down the road offers pick and drop off to hotel for dinner if needed ...I can't wait to go back next year

It was lovely spot .quiet end of island may not suit someone that might want to be near pubs etc.but theres ways around that. you are guaranteed a great night sleep and privacy .

Clodagh was very friendly and offered helpful advice for what to do during our stay including important info about what pubs had live music on. Breakfast was excellent with a nice selection and lovely friendly waitresses. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Taxi was organised for us on departure day.

The room was extremely small. The bed was right next to the toilet and the bathroom door didn’t close without being locked from the inside, so I felt I was sleeping very close to the toilet. On off faucet in bathroom not ideal. No shower gel provided just hand soap in shower.

The host is a very warm, friendly person. She was so helpful throughout our stay! She showed us the best places to visit on which days (and how to get there) on a map. She also went out of her way to help with a hygiene item we really needed. She also arranged taxis for us and offered to have bikes delivered. Breakfast was simply amazing. There were several choices with customisable options! The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view. The BnB is well located and it’s not too far of a walk from town if you don’t mind walking.

Great little B&B. It’s a few Km from the pier so rent a bike or get a taxi (bike is the way to go). Room was comfortable and breakfast delicious. Amazing views and a very friendly outside dog and cats. Clodagh is very accommodating and will help you with whatever you need.

The location was a bit far from the ferry which wasn’t a problem for me but might be for others. The island has taxis, a shuttle bus and bike rentals to help you get around.

The accommodation itself is lovely, very clean and there's a lounge to relax in when the kids are asleep. Breakfast was excellent and lots of choice. Clodagh, our host, could not have done more for us, she is just fantastic! She arranged to have our bikes delivered to the B&B, gave us an overview of what to do and how to maximise our time on the island, and gave tips on things that the girls would like that aren't in any guidebooks! She also spoke Irish to us once she learned that our 6yo is in a Gaelscoil and we wanted to use the opportunity to speak Irish. Clodagh is a total gem!
