Wonderful hospitality, Fred was great host and looked after us very well. Amazing place to stay, very relaxing atmosphere. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Great location and within walking distance of all amenities. Hope to return in the future.Would definitely recommend Sea Breeze Lodge.

As a 5 star accommodation I would have expected home made soda brownbread and better quality white bread for toast which I'm sure both can be locally sourced. Home made scones would also be a nice touch. The pre packed butter could be replaced by individual dishes with butter. Marmalade, jams etc could be locally sourced and available in pots so guests can help themselves. These few changes would make a huge difference to the overall breakfast experience.

The proprietors have a beautiful home on the Galway Bay (with view). The rooms and beds are very comfortable and very clean. The food was tremendous with a varied breakfast menu along with various sweets, breads and fruit. There was also fruit in the room with a small refrigerator (water supplied). We couldn't have breakfast the first morning due to a scheduled tour. They were so accommodating by providing various items in our room that we could eat before leaving. This B and B out rates many we have stayed at. We highly recommend it.

We had to walk up quite a few stairs to our room (we are in our 60's), but we figured it was good exercise.

We had a wonderful stay; truth be told, we're probably not B&B people, we didn't really make use of the amenities provided, but there were plenty that's for sure! We also did not have breakfast due to schedules but it looked and smelled great! The property is clean and well presented, our room was very comfortable with a large bed (the pillows were amazing!) and a nice little sofa, there were cool little features like a built in Hi-Fi (just plug your phone into the wall!), there were lovely complimentary snacks and drinks, as well as slippers and dressing gowns. Fred is a wonderful, gracious host; he was able to give us lots of useful info about the area. Location is excellent, the area is well served by buses and it's possible to walk to Salthill in about half an hour where there are some great restaurants and other things to do. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for somewhere with that extra personal touch!

Such a delightful stay. We stayed in the suite and spacious is an understatement for my family of 4. Plenty room for all, beautiful view of the water makes for excellent sunrise and sunset photography fro your window. The breakfast was so yummy. Bute the best part were the b&b owners. Always accessible and helpful at a drop of a hat. They even washed our clothes complimentary on the house. I would not stay any where else in Galway. The price is an absolute no brainer here. do yourself a favor and book this with no anxiety.

The room was large and beautiful. We were very comfortable! The large bathroom was amazing and modern! We had the room with a view of the Sea and that was fabulous. No detail has been spared. Blackout shades along with shutters make for a good nights sleep. Our room had both a large bathtub and a rainfall shower. Tea/Coffee service in the room as well as a refrigerator with complimentary drinks and a bowl of fresh fruit were there for our enjoyment. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and there was so much more than we could eat. The abundance of choices was more than we have experienced at any B & B! Fred, the owner and host was so helpful and friendly. He even played a few songs on the piano one evening. He has made the Sea-Breeze Lodge a must place to stay if you are traveling to Galway! We highly recommend the Sea-Breeze Lodge for a fabulous and comfortable stay! We will stay here again when in Galway.

I have stayed at many places all over the world but this one right here has exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable. First of all the manager and host Fred has been beyond helpful at every step of our travels. He welcomed us in a way as if we were coming home, instead of just arriving. The place itself was beautiful, from the living to the breakfast room completely spotless. But it didn't just end there. The room we stayed in was perfect in each aspect possible, cozy king bed, spacious living area with a great view on towards the Galway bay and of course a very modern beautiful bathroom. Needless to say that the room has been as spotless as the entire property. Our personal Highlight was the speaker system installed into the walls which just gave the entire room a whole new atmosphere. No mornings are complete without breakfast and even here there are no wishes unfulfilled. The breakfast menu offers something for everyone, no matter if you like sweet or savory from classic Irish to pancakes to alternative choices be assured this place has them. When checking the location it is true that this place is not directly in the city center of Galway but nevertheless super easy to reach. The bus station is just a brief 4 min walk away taking you directly into the city center no matter if early in the morning or late at night. Otherwise you just order a cab, which takes 15 min at most to bring you to the desired location, for that you can just use the cab phone which is located in the entrance of the B&B. To sum it up this has been the most complete stay experience we have ever witnessed and we would like to thank Fred dearly for making this vacation one to always remember. Greetings from Germany!

Our stay at the Sea Breeze Lodge was a highlight of a thoroughly enjoyable trip. The hotel itself is first rate - thoughtfully renovated with absolutely nothing overlooked. Our room was spacious and quite comfortable. Breakfast was stellar - made to order and served hot. The location was tremendous, on the waterfront with easy driving access to Galway and a range of restaurants and pubs. The host has really done something special with this hotel!

Those looking for something in the heart of Galway will not find this hotel to their taste. Accessing local restaurants and pubs will require transportation.

The view of the Bay and the breakfast was amazing.

Some information wasn’t up to date in the guestbook. The cost of the tours was 35 euro not 25. Also, it isn’t clear but the tours pick you up at the Sea Breeze which is convenient but they drop you off at the City Center. That should be clear so you can plan on a way to get back to the Sea Breeze which is not located in the City Center. The laundry service said washed, dried, & folded but they didn’t fold the laundry so it got wrinkled.

Amazing experience! Beautifully updated fully equipped rooms. Every little detail and comfort thought through to the highest degree. Fred and Michelle are the most gracious, generous, and accommodating staff you will ever meet. Made to order breakfast that will rival any 5-star restaurant. An easy, straight shot 10-minutes to city center. How fortunate we were to find this B&B and that our dates were available! It deserves its 5-star rating 100%!

Nice B&B located a short distance out of Galway in the suburb of Salthill. Property was in wonderful shape and well maintained. Room and bath was well appointed and with all the modern amenities. Breakfast was good and served in a wonderful 4 season room on the lower level that looked out on the garden.

Very specific check in time slot. Home is located in between two busy roads and our room on the top floor had roof windows that you needed to open to cool down the room which In turn let in a lot of road noise. The road noise does quiet down quite a bit during the late night hours. Thought it was a bit pricey for what we got.
