The hotel was very value for money and the manager was super friendly. It is located near everything you need and walking distance to Eyre square and Spanish arch. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The room warm up so quickly despite the single glazing window. Definitely, I will definitely stay there again

Breakfast staff was a bit rude. I went for breakfast which was not included in the booking. But I wanted to have it and pay. Her attitude stating no breakfast for room no...that discouraged me to get one.. It cost nothing to be friendly There was no remote for the TV but I was glad to escape TV for day

rooms basic and very small and decor dated . shame the bar at night closes strictly at 1130pm especially nights music is on

Dope little hotel and pub about 15 minutes walk from the heart of Galway. They have great breakfast options, super friendly staff, and a cozy pub to hang out in with other travelers and locals. Zero noise issues at night. Room was super clean and the shower water pressure was the strongest in all of the hotels I stayed in around Ireland - huge plus for me. There's plenty of parking on the side streets around the hotel and a few cats you might see along the way. Distance to downtown Galway was no issue. It's only about a 15-20 minute walk.

Nothing, everything was great.

Everything was good

In room wasn't toilet paper, i was unable to use cattle plug to far if we compare to the length of the cable

Comfy stay near beach and pierce. Accomodation is farther from city centre, but because of it in quite neighborhood. Don't forget to bring adapter for chargers if you need (staff offered theirs adapter, but it was already taken). Kind staff, nice place, smell/sound from bar didn't travel upstairs to the rooms. It was also good to have ability to return anytime to hotel.

This is not a place to stay for too long, but for a night it was just what we needed: clean, quiet, with a good breakfast in the morning. It's antiquated, but functional. The area is also nice, within walkable distances to key areas.

There's stairs to all the rooms so something to consider for guests with limited mobility, as the they're quite narrow.

Great location the room was small but had everything we needed for a one night stay very clean but dated the staff were friendly and obliging we used the bar in the evening lovely atmosphere friendly people and staff proper Irish bar homely , breakfast was OK plenty to eat, wi fi OK, only draw back was no private parking but found a spot on street near hotel as we were visiting hospital next day the location was ideal

Sausages could possibly be a bit better found them and rashers a little over cooked other than that suitable for an overnight stay

Super close to salthill and the beach. It was reasonably priced and I stayed during the summer. It had everything I needed and I found it easy to get back in late at night. Considering hotels were charging 200-300 a night in the summer in Galway, this place enabled me to stay in Galway under short notice.

They had a sign at the front desk to say that booking.com bookings were not already paid for. That can fuel for an argument with guests because booking.com can take pre-payment and that was the case with me. I paid in advance. They should sort that out. Figure out who has paid, who has not, and if that is too difficult, turn off the option on booking.com to pay in advance. Problem solved, everyone pays at the hotel.

The Location is excellent. Only a 10 min walk from the centre of Galway city. The breakfast was lovely. It'sbasically a B&B over a pub. It's a bit dated but clean. On street parking. Would I stay there again? Definitely. If you are looking for a place to put the head down for the night, this is the place. If you are looking for the lap of luxury pay a lot more and stay elsewhere!!!

Check in is from 3. I was a bit early and it wasn't open. I didn't have a problem with it and came back later. Some people might. That's the rule!!!!
