Good breakfast and coffee. My bed was very comfortable, even though I had to ask for softer pillows..... pillows supplied far too high and hard! Good security for guests on busy nights i.e very good doormen, ensuring that only the bona fide guests entered the hotel..... difficult to police on a busy night!! Very helpful front desk, when I needed plane ticket reservations printed out. For the price, I feel we should have hair conditioners, hand lotions etc. in rooms. Wonderful location!!

Hard and high pillows. Wanted more amenities in room e.g. hair conditioner, body lotions, sewing kits, shower caps etc.

My second stay at Leonardo, Quay Street , Galway. I returned because of the excellent location and room view overlooking Galway Bay in November. This stay exceeded the previous holiday. Upgraded room to overlook the garden and river. All aspects of our holiday this time exceeded our previous wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Our wonderful room, the charming hosts and the Prosecco hospitality on Friday and Saturday afternoons sealed the deal for us. We will definitely return for our third visit. Especially the wonderful prosecco afternoons where we got to spend time with our dynamic Leonardo employee hosts. Each and every one a gem. Lots of lovely stories to cherish! Amazing memories….and looking forward to making more in Leonardo Hotel, Quay Street, Galway.

The cleaning of the WC base……

We walked outside the hotel door and were right there beside the main streets of the Latin Quarter, the Spanish Arch and just over bridge from the Cathedral and stacks of other restaurants. Eyres park, the bus station, train station and tour office were just a 10 minute walk away. The buskers, markets and friendly locals also made for a memorable stay in Galway. Staff at Leonard's were very accommodating and helpful.

The rain was a bit of an issue but no one can do anything about that.

The location of Jurys Inn is excellent - no need to have a car as it is right at the beginning of the pedestrian walking area. The views of the Corrib River and wonderful, and, normally it is very quiet (see below for remodeling). The bar is a great place to go for nightcaps. Breakfast is very good with lots of options.

The drawback to our stay was that they were remodeling the hallways and the dining area. Thus, the carpets were torn up for 2 days, there was a lot of noise outside during the day from exterior renovations, the dining room was only open for breakfast.

Excellent location in Galway. Rooms newly renovated and air conditioning in good working order.Very clean and comfortable beds. Good views from the window. Breakfast included and adequate mine cud have been warmer. Coffee good. Asked for a quiet, non-smoking room, which we got. Had to pay extra for parking, which was next door. Would stay again due to location and a nice hotel..

Would have preferred a single and a double but too expensive. Said it was a star room and left some custard cream biscuits as an extra treat, but I think something like chocolates would have been better. Was a comfortable room. A few tweaks, and it could be excellent. Prices for stays in hotels in Galway are really high at this time of year.

Excellent central location. We were able to explore & walk everywhere. Breakfast was great, very clean & the staff was nice.

Our room was on the 1st floor facing Quay Street. It was super loud at night & we had a lot if trouble sleeping. Kind of like trying to sleep with a college party beneath you. Then there were garbage trucks & in the middle of the 2nd night the put giant lights on & power washed the street. Not the hotel’s fault at all, but ask for a room NOT over Quay Street. The other parts of the hotel were much quieter.

We had a slight early arrival but the staff was very pleasant made sure we got the room in time and made us feel comfortable. The breakfast was very good in quality.

The security at the door asking each time we entered to show them the room key. First time we have encountered such an security measure. While it certainly makes us feel safe at the hotel, this was annoying as well and I have to remember to carry my key each time I stepped out. It almost felt like racial profiling! There must be better ways to ensuring safety,

We loved the location, we had a lovely few of the sea from our window. The beds were very comfortable I got great nights sleep and the pillows were really luxurious. The staff were very accommodating with extra toilet rolls and just being very pleasant and welcoming, asking where we enjoying our stay and they couldn’t do enough for us

Our room wasn’t ready at check in time but the staff where very apologetic and helpful taking our bags etc but that was the only thing and taking into consideration that it was Easter week and they were really busy

the staff were very kind and nice! We got a free breakfast and 20 percent off because there was 1 less bed than we expected.. we had booked 4 rooms and only got 3 but it ended up okay in the end as 1 person didn't show! Location is ideal. Car park is tight but reasonable. Really nice girl on reception.

It would have been really bad if all of us had shown up and we were short a bed.

The location of this hotel is perfect for enjoying all the sights in Galway, as well as having the possibility to walk or jog by the sea or take an evening stroll down the Mutton Island Causeway, where you can "sit and watch the moon rise over Claddagh and see the sun go down on Galway Bay" just a couple of minutes from the hotel. Very clean, attractively decorated rooms, and a good breakfast buffet. We would be happy to book another stay at Jury's in Galway.
