Josephine has a passion for hospitality and takes pride in her exceptionally clean B and B. Rooms are a little small, but make little difference unless you're staying long term. It's excellent for a couple of nights. The breakfast is excellent, and the surrounding area is pristine and quiet (it's literally across from a cemetery - see pics - about 10 km to town). The host is absolutely engaging and caring and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. You could spend more, but why? Josephine makes you feel like family in her home and provides recommendations and a history of the area. We wished we could have stayed a little longer than one night.

A lovely B&B in an amazing location - right across the road from the Kilmacduagh round tower. Truly the most wonderful view and a great base for exploring this amazing site, as well as the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher, which were only about an hour away. Josephine and her husband were very kind hosts - their place was spotless and the beds comfortable. They had a lovely lounge with free tea and biscuits and also provided use of a washing machine, not to mention the replica of Anfield in the back yard, for any Liverpool fans! Josephine was also very kind when I fell ill, helping with medicine and toast. A wonderful stay in a unique and amazing place.

Josephine is incredibly gracious and friendly. We were at her house for four nights and feel as though she and her husband, Pat, are family now. Josephine takes great pride in what she does, and she should. Josephine accommodated our desires for breakfast and provided a delicious meal. We've been to Ireland many times, and stayed in dozens of bed and breakfasts and can say, without hesitation, that Josephine is our favorite host and Naomh Colman is among the very finest houses. Being directly across from Kilmacduagh is a huge bonus!

We booked this property on our way back to Rosslare. Our room was perfect with an E suit shower. Our first impression was that the property looked bright and clean because the huge garden was also immaculate.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Naomi was a delightful lady who was both friendly and caring and always treated us as if we were friends. She went to great trouble to make us feel really welcome. We had the Irish was delicious.

Lovely B&B, great view of tower ruins across the road. A 5 minute drive to the closest town, Gort, which had some lovely food spots. Breakfast was delightful, had a full Irish both mornings. Beds were very comfortable. Josephine was the most welcoming host! I was travelling alone and had my birthday morning at the B&B. Josephine made the morning so special, even put a candle in a croissant to celebrate. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Josephine made me a fresh fruit salad most days and a cooked breakfast once or twice. Both were really good start to the day. It's a great location and I used it as a base to see The Burren, go to the Aran Islands, visit family near Ennis, shop in Galway. Coole Park which is near Gort was a beautiful place to walk. There were lovely walks around the roads near the BnB too and I enjoyed my hour of morning walk along the stone-fenced roads usually only observed by the cows!

I can't think of anything that Josephine and Pat could do better!

Ireland is famous for its hospitality, in a good part from the traditional B&B establishments where the Bean a Tí extended a huge welcome and fussed over guests as if they were family. It is harder to find these day but Josephine embodies that still and provides a wonderful accommodation. The checkin and access is easy, the house immaculate, the decor fresh and modern, the breakfast cooked to order. I was incredibly impressed by the paint stripes on the walls done by her husband - colorful and lines of perfection. Anything needed or advice required is given plentifully. The location perfect right across from the abbey. Being a solo traveller, I especially appreciate offering a single rate. Wonderful stay - highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay. Josephine was the best host we could have ever asked for. Staying with her was like staying with a family member. She made a lovely breakfast for us, was very knowledgeable about the area, and gave us tips to go for a beautiful walk before we left. Our stay with her was a highlight of our trip. She even gave us a lovely card to congratulate us on our wedding. We would love to stay and see her again someday!

10 stars for the stay in general, 10 extra stars for Josephine - Josephine was the loveliest host one can imagine; the location of the B&B was perfect - I just checked in on time to enjoy an incredible sunset from my room over Kilmacduagh Abbey, a lovely site to visit just a few steps from the B&B... the bed was soft and the breakfast was tasty - what else could anyone wish for? i'll be back for sure!
