Lovely location, staff really friendly and helpful. I found dinner selection poor, but ate the meal, restaurant busy and staff attentative.

On ground floor so had to close curtains, window open but room became a bit stuffy for me so opened one curtain for light and air. I felt people might see me through the muslin curtain.

Friendliness of staff and the food in thr bar

Breakfast was an absolute let down. Breakfast was served from 7am - 10am. We came down at 9.30am both days. The 1st day, there was a half tray of dried up rashers. 2 eggs. 3 sausages. All clearly there too long. Trays not being restocked even though there was still half hour of service left. We eventually got someone to getnus a pot of tea but then there was no milk. Day 2 was a bit better but they ran out of mini crossaints and wouldn't refill when a lady asked for some. Again the milk was all gone. Hot plate wasn't as bad as the 1st day but still there were things missing. It was all just very slow and uncaring. Very different from everyone else we met over our 2 day stay

Breakfast beautiful and as always easy to navigate around, room fab as we were put into the wedding suite that we were in for our wedding in Ballykisteen last September. What a lovely surprise for us, thank you! We dined at home as we don't live a million miles away and have a pet to feed and pamper before we leave the house ;o)

The Manager at breakfast (apparently it was his last day) was so very rude to the girls who were working flat out during breakfast service. When we were queueing for breakfast, one of the girls had a trolley and he grabbed it and started giving out stink to her. She handled it really well and said you're a lovely guy aren't you (which i must admit i found very funny and a great way of diffusing the situation) but that guy is clearly not a happy camper and you have done well to now not have him on your employee list! All the other staff get on really well, you can tell when you go to Ballykisteen and that's one of the reasons why we like it. There is a lovely ambiance about the place.

The hotel provided spacious and clean rooms. There was a restaurant that served a generous breakfast buffet with both Irish and other breakfast options. The on-site restaurant offered limited menu choices and hours for dinner. There was a very talented entertainer performing in the restaurant the first night of our stay (a Saturday). The pool provided some entertainment for the kids, and the hotel was conveniently located not far from Tipperary Town. The Rock of Cashel was not far away either. The staff left some Easter treats in our room, which was a nice touch.

The website was confusing. It was difficult to discern what activities were on-site and which were nearby. We learned that one of the main attractions listed on the website (Delta Karting and Delta Sports Dome) has been permanently closed for a while. There was really not a lot to do at the hotel. I saw no sign of the spa being open or the kids club being available the weekend we stayed. The hotel seemed short-staffed, and the front desk was often unattended. I'd recommend the hotel update its website and be truthful about entertainment options at the hotel and in the area. It's really just a golf resort. The hotel provided a nice home base for us to explore Tipperary and Cashel, however.

The room was really big i was very impressed with the room, really good breakfast every day as we stayed for 5 nights, great choice of food in the bar and think we tried most dishes on the menu, we had one issue on one of the nights and on the next morning we were talking to the girl on breakfast ( Niamh ) a lovely young lady who reported the incident to her manager ( lorraine ) and i have to say how she handled the issue was so professional and quick, so i would just like to take this opportunity to thank Lorraine for how she dealt with our complaint, what a friendly polite professional person she was, i would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay there. The room was spacious, nice pool it is small but it suited us, also a jacuzzi, sauna & steam room which we love. The food in the bar was fab, perfect for an overnighter. Unfortunately the spa was fully booked, and if you play golf it’s a perfect location.

Not much in the actual town, the bar staff was limited and seemed to struggle keeping up with orders lots of people waiting to be served through out the evening, especially when ordering cocktails.

The food in the restaurant was superb and the staff were very friendly especially Chloe in the bar. Nothing was too much hassle for them. The massage was fantastic. Well worth getting one after your game of golf. The room was nice and comfortable with iron and TV and a nice view of the golf course.

The breakfast was OK but would have liked ham and more salad stuff with home made brown bread rather than the slice brown pan.

Beautiful large bright, sparkling clean bed room with the most amazing comfortable bed. Food was delicious with generous portions for the price of the Sunday carvery, wide verity of tasty desserts and yummy cocktails. Leisure facilities including pool, jacuzzi and sauna were beautiful bright, clean and very well kept. And last but certainly not least the staff, from the informative polite lady we first met at reception to the happiest chef on the carvery and the attentive bar staff/mixologist, every single one of them greeted us with a smile and would do what they could to make our stay even more enjoyable.

Had a lovely meal for dinner, pool was a great temperature and front desk staff very helpful. Close enough to drive out to the likes of Limerick, Cahir and Cashel to see the sights. Good wifi on ground floor.

Breakfast isn't up to much- hairs found in the fruit and ham, the cereal isnt topped up- 3 days in a row there was no museli, no staff about so no one took our room number or offered us tea and coffee (there is a coffee machine but was no milk in it). There are no lockers in the swimming pool area so you're expected to leave your belongings sitting in the communal dressing room. My advice for this - slippers and robes are available from the front desk at no extra charge. Get these and dander to and from your room without any personal belongings. Hot tub not working which is what i was specifically looking forward to.

Rooms very clean, cleaning staff 5 star. Beds very comfortable, view from room onto golf course delightful. WiFi not great in bedroom, could of done with more pillows, and heating was on in the room which didn't make sense considering how warm it was outside. But staff had it turned off after being asked to fix it.Great Hotel if your into golf , leasuire centre small .

Restaurant area let this hotel down, staff standing around when tables should of been cleared, floor dirty, and over priced house wine €30 for house wine!!!! Food was ok, we ended up going to Limerick city the second night, had a fantastic meal in Spit Jack's highly recommended this restaurant
