We were able to upgrade to a club room, which was nice so we only used the club lounge for breakfast. The room was quiet for being at the airport and well appointed (Loved the bath products) Great location at the airport and it was easy to take the train to downtown London as well as take the transfer train to go to our terminal. The gentleman in the lounge serving breakfast was extremely polite and helpful.

The room was quite dark, the bathroom could have been cleaner, and a few things needed replacing.

I didn’t realize the Heathrow Express train leaves from Terminal 1-2-3. So there’s another train to reach the Heathrow Express. But that is no reflection on the hotel itself.

Location is excellent, right in the terminal. Wifi was OK, bed is great, and the room was quiet.

Choice of bakeries at breakfast was mediocre, and omelet cooking time was far too long. Not very good coffee. TV in the room was hard to navigate. Gym facilities are no good, and the location of gym some place in the underground floor was not good either. Received a call at midnight from reception - was already sleeping, the guy by mistake charged me 20 pounds less than he should and he wanted to make sure that I am Ok with 20 pounds more.

The location is excellent, located 2 minutes from Terminal 5. Our flight was canceled and we took the hotel for the night. Staff were very kind, excellent room, comfortable bed, there was a kettle and tea and cookies but no coffee machine. A fully equipped bathroom, there is both a shower and a bathtub, there were bathrobes and slippers. . In the pictures of the hotel it appears that there is a pool and in fact it is a thermal pool inside a facility of the spa and it is an additional fee of 30 pounds and it does not appear in the description of booking so pay attention. In any case, the cost of a night's sleep was worth it

I did not like the service of a bar located in front of the restaurant. I went in to eat something small and ordered 2 starters. One of them tasted too salty and very spicy - it wasn't mentioned on the menu, so I asked to cancel the dish because I couldn't eat it. The portion was indeed cancelled. I ordered a salad on the spot and waited about 35 minutes for it!! I asked the waiter several times what about the dish and it was just delayed and the salad was not tasty too.

I liked the room, the welcoming staff and the location.

I did not like the offer of the menus at the restaurants. When you travel you need to eat healthy food and at such hotel you expect much more. I ordered a Caesar salad with the addition of salmon. The salad topping was too acid, the parmesan was an imitation (very bad quality) and the salmon addition was very small. I ordered also a liver pate which was way too salty and a braised pork belly. The pork was OK, but the mashed potatoes was too buttery and unflavoured. Not made with fresh potatoes probably. Service was friendly and fast.

Obviously, the location is perfect for catching a flight anytime day or night. For our final night in the UK before returning to China, where I live and work (with my Chinese wife) it was a plus to stay at a decent hotel after a number of disappointing hotel experiences across our 2 week holiday (despite the expensive fees - our best stay outside of this hotel was Travelodge. Clean, decent rooms and a great breakfast) Next time we visit the UK we will stay here coming and going. Promise. The breakfast was very good too - the chefs working hard to provide people with what they want freshly cooked.

Charging points (phones etc) nr the bed would be handy - but it's a minor point.

It was extremely convenient for flying from terminal 5. So easy to just walk through to catch my flight. The room was lovely and clean, particularly pleased there was tea making facilities and the bathroom was really good and everything worked.

It was not very welcoming in the lobby. The staff were polite and informative. It was nice and bright and clean but appeared rather like a small shopping mall. Very impersonal. I was not overly impressed with the menu in the restaurant, not a particularly enticing choice and the portions were not very generous. The bar areas were ok and the staff were very pleasant.

Sofitel Heathrow is a superbly-appointed modern hotel with helpful staff, great facilities and clean, secure underground parking. Our eating and drinking experience in the tearoom on the ground floor was second to none.

The supposedly French-style restaurant in which we had dinner was disappointing. The setting is barn-like and gloomily lit with echoey acoustics, and the menu had no French cuisine items at all. They should re-style the restaurant in line with the cuisine they offer, and brighten up the decor and lighting. The tearoom lunch we had the next day was better in every respect.

Everything was absolutely phenomenal They even upgraded us to a larger room for no extra and let us check in early with it being our anniversary 100% will be staying here again everytime we need to be at LHR. Can't reccommend it enough

Only thing that has marked me down was allergies. I am anaphylactic to ALL nuts and although they said they do cater for allergies, I found Myself being unable to eat the good majority of food here :( Dinner we skipped all together as it was too much of a risk as there was nuts on almost every option. And then breakfast we had already paid for , in the end I had a few slices of bacon and sausages as the tongs had been touching almost everything else. I asked for pancakes and one chef who was wonderful, he said yes but the other chef said no because the ingredients had changed. So could have been a disaster if the other chef hadn't of noticed the ingredients had changed.

Staff very professional and considerate. We were exhausted on arrival at near midnite and really welcomed the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Room was very spacious with quality fittings. The soundproof windows did an amazing job. Check them out! Great piece of engineering! Absolutely quite! Bathroom large and well appointed. Location fantastic, treat yourself after a long flight or arriving at a late hour. Bonus is 12pm standard checkout and we could leave our bags when we went for a day trip to London. A quality build and totally value for the convenience when you just need to have a good nites sleep!
