Only rooms facing West, or northwest have sunset views, none facing SW do. We had direct ocean view so it was perfect. Food was awesome. Atmosphere awesome. So beautiful and serene. Wish we had more time there.

I thought what I paid for the room, I'd be wiping my butt with clouds, nope sandpaper. Lol. The bed was awesome, but pillows weren't Firm at all, by the end of the night my head had sunk through the pillows to the mattress, causing a stiff neck, nothing a handful of motrin couldn't solve. Valet leaving on Sunday sucked, took forever to get our car, next time we'll hang out at the resort and not try to leave during the 11-12 rush. Minor stuff. Other than that, it was perfect

Speedy check in, staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, all of the staff in the hotel were friendly. Room was spacious,plenty of towels, water and toiletries. Location on the beach is excellent, lots of sun beds and umbrellas. Walking distance to a handful of good restaurants. Staff working hard to get the hotel back to pre-hurricane standard.

Adults drinking alcohol in the pool. During our stay only one pool was open and this was very crowded by lunchtime with adults drinking from cans and plastic cups in the pool whilst children played in pool also. Empty cups and food containers around the poolside, encouraged lots of birds trying to steal food.Too much plastic used by the hotel.Also lots of reserved seating that was never used. Prices had definitely increased since our last visit and everything was noticeably more expensive.

Beautiful hotel. Room size was spacious. Variety of choices for food and drinks. Plenty of umbrellas available on the beach.

Hotel is very expensive. We only stayed one night and had a ‘tropical view’. We had room close to the end and our view was of a pool, roof and stairwell. Because we were barely in our room I did not ask to change. But after parking, taxes and fees, $700+ is excessive for no view.

Breakfast at Maia was exceptional . Rooms a little dated for the price . Staff were great. All good was exceptional. Brought the fact to worker that people walk their dogs and let them do their morning business on a strip of astroturf in the center of property. Then children are playing there two hours later . Pretty discussing . A sign stating no digs on play area would help. Just sayin

Most of staff was incredible at pool and restaurants excellent. Food was very good.

Room that was booked was not available and changed on site, initially told us same room but later found out not the same room. We went to extend stay and they upgraded us same rate to much better view, that was appreciated. But initial swap was shady .

Pros: It's very well located, good structure on the beach, nice room views and everything is very clean.

Cons: Room is old, some stuff is broken, old furniture, the menu on the beach is bad (on a hotel like this you expect to have a good menu but the only things they served on the beach is Chicken wings, tenders, chips, etc. there's no fish, shrimps, or any seafood).

The hotel/resort was amazing from the moment we walked in to the day we left. Two large pool areas, one with a slide for the younger ones. The beach- the sand & the water were breath taking. White sand that led to clear waters and a DJ in the middle to set all the right moods. There was a game room available for kids of all ages - perfect touch- and gym amenities. Would recommend

Slight downfall was the getting up at 6am or 7am to wait on line for a towel and claiming a beach or poolside chair ( that doesn’t open until 8am) . They could also benefit with a little more staff, the waits for drinks and food took some time - but friendly service non the less. $$$ stay.

Sunset beach is the best part of the stay, morning and evening, definitely worth the stay.

The staff in Illy coffee was worst experience I had during the stay. I visit there 3 times with different staff, not only the quality of coffee was not match the name of “illy” , the staffs always talking each other with their language during my order, let me feel uncomfortable and lack of respect.

The beach is gorgeous, the kids love the pool, you can’t beat the location and sunset views.

Service was seriously lacking. I had to request extra towels 3 times over 8 hours before they actually brought them. The pool server came around one time the entire time we were at the pool.

Too much to explain. Not one complaint....Perfectly designed...down to convenience of handicapped doors entering hotel from beach/pool area

That I couldn't stay longer. Wait...perhaps a lounge with music or arcade with xbox for my 13 year old. However, so many kids it would have been occupied nonstop.
