The Gondolier Inn

The location - 4 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from restaurants and shopping on 5th Ave South. The room was very spacious and 1940's style - 1 floor, no one above you. The set up of the furniture in the room (Room #1), the ease of checking in - key lock box on the door so no worries about when we arrived. Free bottled water every day and free use of the washer and dryer and detergent. Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash all in a dispenser in the shower. Plenty of clean white towels to use. 2 Beach chairs and beach towels in the room ready to use - no need to go to the office to ask anyone. K cups for the Kuerig. A kitchen with everything you could need for breakfast or snacks.

Nothing - we really did not want for anything.

Vintage mid-century motel in a lovely part of Naples, 10 minutes walking distance to both Naples beach and 5th Ave South. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished with contemporary furniture. The Gondolier offers beach chairs, parasol and beach towels in the rooms as well as free water. Our host was very nice and made us feel very welcome. We asked for a later check-out and were able to stay till midday the following day. We really hope the Gondolier manages to keep up retro vibe in the fast changing neighborhood with all the massive houses being built all around the place. The Gondolier is a true vintage gem.

Downside in an otherwise lovely place - bedsheets are 100% polyester - not something we enjoy sleeping in. At 300 USD per night cotton sheets should be a matter of course.

Room and property were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Great night sleep each night. Had a mix of thick and thin pillows. Kitchen area are was very clean. Cleaning staff did a great job keeping room clean. A/C was good and ceiling fans in each room. Lots sun coming through windows felt like Florida. Beach, shops, tour boats, park with playground, tennis, basketball courts were all within walking distance. Short drive to zoo, fishing, etc.

No pool, but community pool was a short drive, $2.00 entry.

Great location! 3 blocks from the beach. We brought our bikes and rode all around the neighborhood. The homes are gorgeous and one garden is more beautiful than the next! 5th Ave was fun to stroll down, eat and shop. It gets really hot at this time of year, so we enjoyed the AC of the bars and shops, saving the beach for evening and sunsets. The Gondolier exceeded our expectations. Owner was super! He even upgraded our room so we could store our bikes closer to our room. He really did a great job renovating the 1950's motel. Beds are a little too soft for me, but comfortable enough. Great little kitchenette with Keurig, small fridge, toaster oven and microwave. Small amount of dishes and utensils were standard. Each room has set of beach chairs and towels to use. Free laundry facilities, water, small coolers to use were a great touch! Loved this place!

Multi-plug by the bed with maybe some USB ports for charging would be helpful for people with CPAP machines and phone chargers.

This is the sweetest little place. Very comfortable. Walking distance to the beach and 5th avenue where there is shopping and dining. It's really a fantastic location.

There aren't standard office hours listed or followed. We got there at 10 am because of an early flight. Thought we could store our luggage and take off. The office was locked, so no one would answer the phone. I finally instagram messaged them and got a quick reply. I know this sounds weird, but it didn't affect our stay. Just make sure you tell them up front when you will be there, so you have a lock box on your door. Also, ask for an emergency number.

If you want to stay in a place of character, comfort, and closeness (to the beach and 3rd/5th ave shops - 8-10 mins walk!), The Gondolier Inn is IT!!! Please stay here and support this family-owned hotel! We came a couple months after Hurricane Ian and were relieved to see that this place recovered. Thank you Katherine and Keble! Nothing! But better book in advance because with a limited number of rooms (I think 9 only?) The Gondolier Inn gets sold out quickly!

Newly renovated, clean, comfy bed, location and the small things like water bottles, cooler, beach umbrella and chairs all included. Bodywash , shampoo and conditioner very nice and not skimpy. Great or couples get-away. Owner, Kebo was friendly, available and vry helpful. 2 blocks from beach and 3 blocks from 5th avenue an 3rd street.

the inside of the rooms was lovely and just like the images. the bed was comfortable & the kitchenette was like new.

the outside could be painted to reflect the new modern interior of the rooms. the staff hours should be posted on the door as twice I went to ask a question and no one was around and the door was locked

We loved the quaintness of this little 1950s motel but with all the modern facilities of the 21st century! The location was amazing for both the beach and 5th Avenue! it’s situated in a stunning quiet residential area. Great beach towels and beach chairs! Most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in! Just wish we had stayed for longer!

The chair in the bedroom was a bit grubby. Just needs replaced or cleaned. Otherwise we loved everything!

I liked the wellcome, the disponibility of the staff, the position, so close to the beach. The room are very nice and confortable, coffee machine is avalaible and water also. The place is very very nice, there are chairs outside for every rooms. I will come back!!!
