The staff was friendly and customer service was exceptional. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon when most of the businesses were closed, but the receptionist made sure to text us detailed instructions and leave the keys for our room. They enthusiastically accommodated all of our requests, including an early breakfast on the morning we had a tour scheduled, and they offered to keep our bags for the afternoon on the day of the check in. The room was nicely decorated (my daughter called it her "princess room), and it had everything we needed. We didn't mind the bathroom location on a different floor floor--moreover, we liked the loft-like feeling, and this split-level layout made the room look more spacious. The stairs from the bathroom to the room had a glow-in-dark tape, a thoughtful touch for safety. The hotel is a small, intimate property of about 5 or so guest rooms within what seems to be a residential apartment building, and its location was perfect: 5 min walk from SMN train station, 15 minutes to Piazza del Duomo; there's a grocery store 3 min away and plenty of dining options near by. A good value breakfast was included in the price and consisted of fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, toast, Italian meats, juice and cappuccinos. Thank you, B&B Kingsman for making our say so enjoyable. The location is ideal if you need to stay near the station. Despite being so central, the hotel soundproofing is excellent. Major sights can be easily reached. What made a difference to our stay was the kindness and flexibility of the staff. We were able to enjoy breakfast from 7.30 and leave our luggage throughout the day. The staff are extremely thoughtful and it was a pleasure to walk into a chilled room considering the scorching heat outside. Customers’ satisfaction is truly at the heart of what they do. Thank you to the Team at Kingsman for being so accommodating.

Very close to the station, within walking distance. Smooth, easy check-in a bit later than we planned, in the evening. The reception area and the room were very clean and nicely decorated, as you can see in the pictures. I liked the bed and slept very comfortably, although for my partner the bed was a bit hard. Tea & coffee facilities are provided. The breakfast is served in the room at the time of your choice (up until 10am) and it was very good, more than we expected, we didn't even finish eating it all: cappuccino, croissants, biscuits, yoghurt, seeds, boiled eggs, etc although we do not eat eggs in the morning, this may be important to others. They gave us a key to the reception to be able to pick up our luggage in the afternoon on the day of check-out. There is a laundry business next door, where we went to wash and dry our clothes (it cost total Euro 10, including the washing liquid -be aware although they say they add the liquid automatically this didn't look to be true, so add your washing liquid). The street is busy during the day, it is quieter during the night; the room window protected us from the noise, and we managed to have a little siesta the first day as we were very tired. There is a lift, much appreciated when carrying a suitcase, but be aware that, as in most buildings in Italy, there are a few steps to climb before arriving to the lift. This is very common in old buildings, and even new ones in Italy. Above all, I loved the small little chocolate coffee bins that are at reception and in the rooms. I am searching online to see if I can order them.

In the morning we could hear people talking at the reception but this is because we have a very light sleep, it can be of no problem to others. My partner didn't like the gold paint on the furniture as it tends to leave a bit of glitter on the bed. But this is a small little thing without importance to me. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would come back.

Kingsman was in a good location for getting to both the bus and train stations. It was also within walking distance to all historical sites to visit. The bedroom was very comfortable and exactly as in the photographs. Breakfast was more than expected and excellent. The communication was excellent and supportive.

Our room was a bit small however given we were only there for one night it was exactly what we required. If you do not want extra stairs this room would not be for you.

Beautiful room, comfortable bed (medium/firm) and good shower, the best breakfast ever that catered for all tastes - honestly I could not fault it! The location is ideal, a 5 min walk to the train station and 10 min to main sights, but quiet at night. The owners were very communicative beforehand on WhatsApp to ensure we checked in safely and kind when we met them in person.

It was fine for us, but if you have a lot of clothes or are staying for a long time, our room only had one wardrobe. This suited us (a couple) for 4 days easily, and you can also just use your suitcase.

Everything about our accommodation was amazing. The location, the amenities, the comfortable beds and the security of the place. Breakfast was simply amazing and the food plentiful. But special mention must go to the Manager who went over and above in assisting me when I had issues contacting my bank. He lent me his phone and I was able to resolve what could have become a serious problem.

It's not possible to improve on perfection!

This is one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in! Beautiful decor with a gold finish and wonderful fresco on the very high ceiling. The room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The location was perfect too - a 10 minute walk to the city centre and the street itself had some fantastic authentic and cheap restaurants off the beaten track! The breakfast was a lovely touch. This added real value to our stay :)

Was fantastic. All automated to check in. Very beautiful. Clean and SO CLOSE to the station it's actually unbelievable. It's very organised and clean and breakfast is amazing and delivered to your door. There's staff there each morning if you need them. But every thing else is well explained.

The breakfast was Incredible, but it would have been nice to have a choice and variety over two days. If staying for one day you'll LOVE IT.

This is a lovely boutique hotel a short walk from Santa Maria Novella train station. It is in the perfect location for travel, sightseeing and shopping. It is very quiet and secure and the staff are very welcoming. The rooms are spacious and furnished beautifully. Every amenity has been provided. A sumptuous breakfast is delivered to your room at your requested time every morning and it is amazing.

I didn’t stay long enough.

Beautifully decorated room, very comfortable bed and a superb breakfast. Location was perfect! Very close to the station and all the main attractions were within easy walking distance. Our hosts were lovely too!

Everything about accommodation was perfect. We wasted money booking a hop-on hop-off bus pass as it goes around the outskirts and not very close to the attractions. We had one really poor meal close to main attractions otherwise everything was great
