The location is very good, right next to the Railway Station (which helps a lot when you are in a hurry) and very close to the city center. I also liked that the room was modern and clean.

I didn't like that during the day it was kinda noisy (my room was across the Stazione Centrale). Breakfast is rather poor (scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, cheese, salami, some ham, croissants and some sweets, youghurt and cereals - this is what you get everyday), but overall it's acceptables. Maybe some fresh vegetables will make the difference.

Amazing location close to all main attractions and directly across from train station. Felt very safe. Modern room with very comfortable, nice sized bed. Lovely bathroom. Very friendly staff. We chose the 15e breakfast each day and it was really nice and lots of choice. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Even though it looked great having wooden floors in the bedroom, it meant each morning around 8 (thankfully not too early, lol) the person in the room above who walked around alot in shoes woke us up. Could hear train rumbling before going to sleep but wasn't an issue overall. Always slept very well!

Very nice rooms, and exceptionally clean. Staff was lovely and accommodating. Absolutely SUPERB breakfast. Breakfast is not included in the price, but that was fine. There were so many options to choose from and all of them were delicious! Great location, very close to the train station and within walking distance of city attractions.

Because it's so close to the train station, it was noisy at night. But we quickly got used to the sound of the trains. Also, the thermostat in the room didn't seem to work. It might be because we were there in March and you can't turn on the A/C at that time of year. But otherwise, a great value, location, and service.

The location is hard to beat. Right next to the train station and the intersection of the two trams, one of which is leading straight to the airport. The old town is right behind the property. 10 min walk and you are in front of the Pallazzo Vecchio. The staff is super nice. They took care of two personal requests. The breakfast is generous and varied. There is a paid parking lot 20 m from the hotel entrance. The room i was in was spacious and cleaned/maintained every day.

Nothing really. The price was a bit steep, but this is Florence in the summer :-)

We had an amazing stay at C-hotels Diplomat in Florence. Location, it is right outside the S.M.N. train station which made it easier for us to travel and it was only 3 blocks north of the Europcar rental location downtown. The hosts were very friendly and helped us with getting a taxi to get some last minute shopping done. I had a special request to be on a high floor and facing the train station. I wanted something special as it was our 1 year anniversary and only stay in Florence. The staff was wonderful and upgraded us to a beautiful room (their best room) overlooking the train station and the Duomo!! They even left a personalized note in the room which was a surprise! The room was huge. It Had a reading area, an area for us to repack our luggage and a very comfortable bed and two AC units for the Florence heat. The bathroom was also very clean. The room was right by the elevator as well. We initially did not book with a breakfast included but I'm so glad we went downstairs and tried the buffet breakfast. Plenty of fresh fruits, pastries, honey/jams, juices and hot food, including homemade cookies. My wife and I were very pleased with our stay and plan to stay here again on our next visit! I got an upgraded room with view and balcony which was spacious, modern, fresh and clean. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the city. There are also comfortable lounge areas on the ground floor of the hotel for chilling out after sightseeing. Decor is very fresh and stylish.

While the large room on the top floor was lovely, it was situated right under the main air conditioner unit for the hotel which was very loud from about 9pm to the small hours of the morning. If you’re not used to city noise at night then the traffic and early morning train noise might disturb your sleep.

Breakfast - Exceptional continental style breakfast. A lot of options at breakfast for everyone. Service - Top notch service by restaurant, cleaning staff and reception. Always ready to help. Comfort - Great sleep comfort for us and our kid. Cleanliness - Very clean, spic and span. Room is cleaned everyday with no fuss. Everything is refreshed after a long day outside which is very good to be able to do your next day with the same energy. Location - Bang outside Florence S.M.N station, right in front of all the city tram stops. Walking to all destinations around the city center within 15-20 minutes. Airport tram stops outside the main entrance. The Florence cathedral is 10 minutes away, the multiple museums are in 15 minutes walking distance. Safety - Completely safe as felt by us (a family with a young kid). If you go out late at night, the zone around S.M.N feels a bit unsafe, but you are okay inside the hotel and usually also fine before 8 pm. Weekends are very busy everywhere, so a lot of people are walking / driving during the day and late in the evening. Food & Shopping nearby - The SMN underground market is a nice place to get a feel of shopping. There is starbucks there along with multiple food and beverage shops. There are plenty of food places within a 10-minute walking distance. A really great place to spend your nights in Florence.

Some minor inconveniences. Their bar is not open in the evenings (maybe due to covid restrictions). They dont have any food or beverage options outside the restaurant working hours. They can have some italian food options for breakfast (as we are in Italy, of course). They can change the menu everyday so we don't end up eating the same food everyday.

Property was perfectly located across the steer from the train station . Room was spacious and clean The staff was exceptional and attended to our every need including arranging taxis and helping with restaurant recommendations Breakfast (not included ) was really good and had a nice variety

The property was in a less than desirable location .. it worked perfectly for our needs but that was a negative . The hotel common area was a little old and run down but again it worked for us as we were using it as a home base

Lovely staff who took care of check in very quickly. The room was nice and warm and the design was pleasing. The bathroom was very clean and towels too. Basic amenities were provided and I requested room with a shower and got one so I appreciated it. They left me a hand written note welcoming me and some basic snacks. They also include a bottle of water for free which is greatly appreciated.

If I had to be extremely picky the room needed some minor maintenance (chipped paint, wobbly wall plugs) but other than that it was great. Next time I might request a room not facing the street as there was some minor noise (nothing crazy) but I prefer complete silence.

We got a larger room than expected, so we were comfortable. The location by the SMN train station was superb for our needs (visiting the Firenze Rocks festival on the hippodrome and wanting to visit the Florence city center). The staff was friendly and helped us with several of our asks. The cleaning staff cleaned the room properly while being mindful not to move our stuff around. Breakfast was really okay.

There was nothing we would consider an absolute negative. WiFi was a bit spotty (we had a lackluster experience with internet in Florence; it must be the network's inability to handle so many people). The lobby/breakfast restaurant was a bit colder than we'd like (AC was needed, as it was 34C outside). It was too bad the lobby bar wasn't open during our stay, as it seems like a nice place to catch a breath. The price was a bit high, but that's "Florence's center during a festival" premium, I guess.
