The best location, in the very centre of Florence, il Duomo is just around the corner. Great value for money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I got a free room upgrade which was amazing. The rooftop bar has the most beautiful view. As it is the very centre of the city, please be aware that there is noise from the streets at night and early morning (which I expected given the location).

Location was superb, right in the thick of it! Bed was super comfy and shower was good. Lovely Juliette balcony. Reception and cleaning staff very friendly.

We tried on two occasions to have a drink on the roof terrace, which was one of the attractions in booking, the first occasion we left after more than 20 minutes of being ignored by the waiters! On the second time we were again ignored, even after going to the bar to be told someone would serve us, other people were having the same problem while others were served almost immediately! I virtually had to accost the waiter as he made to go past us again, eventually getting a drink! We complained to the person on reception who said he would ask management to contact us, we are home now having heard nothing more! But for the waiting staff we would have given the hotel a 10.

This hotel is in the perfect location in Florence. The neighborhood is amazing and super convenient. While the rooms are not air conditioned, there is a lot of natural cool air that comes in from the open windows. It was quite comfortable. The front counter staff were super helpful.

I had read other reviews that mentioned the noise. That can not be overstated. It is VERY noisy at night. I have a high tolerance for noise and can sleep through anything. But, it woke me up a couple of times each night and some in our party had a difficult time sleeping. The room decor is very outdated. It seems as if it could be an easy fix to do some cosmetic updating.

fantastic location, very central. This hotel is a great budget friendly option. It has all that you need, comfy beds and if you book a superior room a Fantastic view of the dome.

unfortunately despite a 6 month early booking, on our arrival we were told the hotel was “full” and that we were being put in an apartment 6 blocks away. on arrival the apartment was dirty. housekeeping g had not changed sheets etc. we immediately returned to the desk and ended up being booked into a different hotel for nine night. a frustrating process as we booked in November for a trip in late April. The staff were fantastic at attempting to find a solution. Just unfortunate it happened.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Florence Duomo , from our balcony we had awesome views, we were on floor 5. There is a cafe on the top floor which is a disco at night, it closes at 11pm. The staff is the greatest, always ready to help, always helping me with my struggling Italian. fascinating people, all of them very helpful.

the fact that since I was on the 5th floor the disco was on top of us and we (old people) were in bed earlier, we couldn't sleep until they finish at 11 pm. That was the only thing bad.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Price was also very good when thinking about the location. Priceless to have parking options. Amazing Rooftop bar. The staff was very nice and helpful. For example we forgot a jacket and they found it and are going to send it back to us.

Not exactly, didn't like. It comes with the amazing location. BUT we recommend that people bring earplug because of the church bells. Also because there is quite a lot of outside noise from other guests and the street so earplugs are a good thing to have.

Amazing view. Very close to all the top atractions. This hotel is rated 2 stars and this it true. There is no refrigerator or A/C. In first days of june we sleep very well. We have a narrow balcony and we can see the Duomo and Giotto Tower. On the top, at 6th floor, iis a bar. Elisa from the hotel staff helped to reached the hotel by car and also to call the guy from the parking service. It is good to know the finding the hitel by car is next to impossible using waze or maps, you need to call at the hotel for guidance.

This is a two star hotel, which means it does not have hardly any amenities beyond a room. That's what we got, and it was exceptional in every other regard. Modern bathroom (and everything worked). Good internet. Staff were helpful. There is no breakfast or meal facilities, but there is a coffee/pastry place next door, and a rooftop bar/restaurant on the sixth floor of the hotel, both of which are owned by the hotel owners, but not run as part of the same facility. The view of the Duomo from the bar is so good that visitors come to it from opening to closing. The location is superb. Literally a few hundred feet from the Duomo.

There was nothing I did not like. Exceptionally good. However, if you want a spa, or a pool, or any of those other things that would make it a three star hotel, do not stay here. Otherwise, it cannot be beat.

The location is perfect and was very convenient as we needed to go back more than once a day to shower, change clothes, charge phones/camera, drop off shopping etc. The staff were lovely and very helpful, especially a woman (unfortunately didn’t get her name) with blue eyes and long brown hair who was extremely polite and always going the extra mile to help us out.

Maybe it would be nice if there was shower gel provided too.

Fantastic view from the room. Great location, close to the main atractions. Safe area. Clean room, heating, good bathroom with great hot water (super thin towels, which my husband loved)

Had two beds pushed together, for a couple, that is not ideal. Location is great for main atractions and shopping, but if you are looking for a quieter area, less turists and expensive shops, I would suggest you stay across the river.
