Excellent central location, less than 5 minutes from the train station and many of the top sites. No breakfast included but free tea and coffee available. Large rooms and lockers so plenty of space to store your stuff away securely. Powerful USB ports. Very good reading light on each bed. Bathroom was clean and shower was hot and powerful. Excellent WiFi connection. Friendly atmosphere. Great price too. Overall excellent value for money and I would stay here again!

I would have liked an extra pillow on my bed as you only get one but aside from that no complaints at all!

Beautiful little place near Santa Maria Novella, nice beds, nice staff who are very friendly. And free coffee, what more can a solo traveller ask for

This was a great option for my night in Florence before flying out of the airport since it is close to the tram and train station. My friends were flying out of Rome and I was solo as a female for the last night. Female only dorm with a locking door and female only shared bathroom provided a clean and safe place. I’m used to hostels and volunteer along the Camino. This was a very clean hostel, not loud, sheet and blanket provided, locker and 24 hour desk for check in/out. No age limit, which is uncommon, and I was happy to see that since I am over 50. I would recommend Hostel Archie for young travelers staying a few nights or for us older travelers with hostel experience. Friendly staff 😊

Hostel Archi Rossi was a fantastic place to put our heads down for the next few nights. The room was very clean and the beds so comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and juice in the communal kitchen was a bonus. Reading and resting in the sunshine in the the garden was so relaxing. A short walking distance to the markets, the museums and galleries and meeting points for our tours was wonderful. The location from the train station was about a 10minute walk which is an added bonus. Thank you Hostel Archi Rossi, we loved our stay and will come back if an opportunity arises 😊

1 washer, 1 dryer, water bottle refill station, lots of pretty relax areas, front counter open 24 hours, front counter staff- most people were very helpful with directions, restaurants, general information; really refreshing. Thanks guys. Special note- I wanted to mail my postcards, I had special international stamps that required a special mail box. A woman [owner maybe?] said if I drop off the cards at the main desk, she would mail them for me. Very helpful and greatly appreciated.

I had no surprises; I took my own toiletries - shampoo, body wash etc as it is a hostel. I had a private room with 2 single beds and a private washroom. Maybe better instructions how to find the hostel would have helped me. there is no breakfast.

I stayed in private room for 5 people with my friends and it was great! Room had its own bathroom and everthing was very clean. Beds were pretty comfortable and we had cupboards for all. Kitchen part was really good, we could take coffee/tea from the machine whenever we like. There was also a microwave and cutlery along with glasses, so we could easily prepare a quick snack. There was also automat with snacks in it, great for emergencies :) Hostel have amazing terraces with fountain and various plants! The lobby was like a gallery itself - there were lots of paintings and the whole place was cozy. It is located very close to center, it only took 5-10 minutes walk to Duomo. We didn't need transportation, you could basically go everywhere on foot. The market place near the hostel was also incredible, you should definitely take a look.

Our room was a bit cold, we couldn't manage to turn on the AC but our receptionist really tried to help.

Spacious room (we are 3 adults and were in a private room with 6 beds (3 bunk beds). Eleavtor is handy for seniors or for bringing up your luggage to the upper floors. Very close to the Firenze SMN train station by walking. There's a large dining room with hot and cold water dispenser, coffee macines, juice machine that is available for free. You can also have your "picnic dinner" at the tables in the dining room. They have utensils, glasses, cups, plates and trays. Very convenient. 24-hour reception. We only stayed for 1 night but would definitely recommend Archi Rossi to friends!

A minor item. Our room was close to the garden so you could hear other guests chatting at night.

Location, Wifi and staff were very good. Free coffee, hot chocolate, juice, and water. Beautiful interiors, lovely gardens, and many places to relax with plants. Room was clean and cooler and dryer was working. Room had locker with big cupboards. It won't fit a big size travel bag but a trekking bag. Blankets, bedsheets and pillows were good.

The lower bunk bed is too low, you cannot sit on that bed, you need a chair, or sit outside the room. If the person on top moves, the bed makes a lot of noise. Toilet on the ground floor was stinking of urine for all 3 days. They should have washed the walls there to get rid of the smell.

excellent location 5 mins walk to the cathedral and centre of florence. everything you want to see is in walking distance. staff were super friendly and welcoming and the decor is beautiful. nice cosy outdoor area to sit. for breakfast I'd recommend Pompi cafe just 2 mins down the road :)

beds aren't the comfiest and tend to creak a little, could have done with more plug sockets and maybe a social area / free social events? as a solo traveller this would have been appreciated. but apart from that no complaints!

There is no breakfast, but they have two nice coffee machines and are free. It's very close to the train station, not far from sightseeing and shopping.

I got there early afternoon, checked in, and got a bottom bed. I saw there were still two upper beds that had none. I immediately went downstairs and asked if I could have one of the top beds. The staff told me, no, because those beds have been checked in, which is not true at all. I stayed there for two nights, the upper bed on top of mine had none the entire time. And the other upper bed arrived much later than me.
