The hotel was 5mn walk from the railway station / tram station and 10mn by foot to the Duomo. We had a 4 beds room, a king size and 2 single for 3 people. The room was very cleaned. Bed comfy. The room was nice and warm, very quiet. As stated by previous reviews, the bathroom is small but got what we needed, good hairdryer. Balcony . Breakfast had a good range of food, lovely fresh fruits, mini muffins / doughnuts which are nice for a little treat. The hotel stall were very helpful. We came to Florence last August for 5 days so stayed a little bit further afield, however for a short stay (2.5 days), the hotel is the ideal location, good price and most of it very cleaned and comfortable.

Clean and comfortable for us. Location to the train station was excellent as we were also meeting our tour group then hence this choice. Bit of a walk to the touristy spots but we enjoy walking and sightseeing so it didn't bother us at all.

You can hear the neighbours bathroom.

Location is great, super close to the train station and metro. 10 min walk from the duomo and major part of the city.

The only downside is that you have to leave the key at the desk every time you leave the room. I do understand tho. Also you can listen to the noise of other rooms / outside but if you are a heavy sleeper it won’t bother you :)

Location was great. Older hotel and Balcony was small, but we used it every evening. If you can move up to floor 2 or higher, you'll get a view of the Duomo. Staff was friendly and breakfast good with capacucinos . Cold beers @2.50 Euro when you want to unpack, pack or get off your feet. Location, next to train station, around the corner from a predominately pedestrian street right down to the center of town was great. We added local bus trips that dropped us off at Via Nacional, 3 blocks from hotel. Staff was friendly, especially the barista lady at breakfast. For the way we travel, (public transport & a lot of walking), we would book here again.

The bed is hard.

Great location. Hotel within 5 min-walking distance from the station and 10 mins to Duomo. Supermercato very close to the hotel. Clean and quiet rooms at the back. Breakfast was satisfactory in every way. The hotel met our expectations

Two annoying experiences: The taxi driver at the station whom we asked whether the hotel was within walking distance from the station SAID it was 10 mins by taxi and took us to the historical Palazzo Vecchio straight from the station with our suitcases, in stead of OUR Hotel and of course charged us....Very vexing....Secondly, there was no computer available to check our mail for a printout, where our pre-booked tickets for Uffizzi had been sent, and the staff on duty that morning weren't very helpful; the young lady wasnt very techno-savvy and the skillful young man at the computer didn't help with the technical difficulties to reach the website on our phones so we lost a lot of time in the morning, Later, he apologized and paid our taxi fee to the UFFIZZI.

The location was the best asset of this hotel. The hotel was ok for a 3-star, but compared to other 3-star hotels, this one needs a bit more "heart"! It was clean and comfortable, though. The shower, a bit small.

We had a few little issues: the local TV channels did not work; only CNN and BBC, when we wanted to see the italian TV! A technician finally fixed it on the second day. The cleaning ladies were a bit absent minded!

We enjoyed our stay in a quad room with bathroom. Both were very spacious and everything worked well, including the WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and had many selections including fresh fruit. While this area has a bit more hectic feel due to the train station, it is a short walk to the Accademia, Duomo, Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio making it ideal for our short stay. It was nice to have onsite parking, though getting our largish car rental out of the lot required careful maneuvering. Lastly, if you arrive by car, I recommend having one person get out and speaking to the front desk to ensure your at the right location. There was access to the building on another street but not to the hotel itself.

Finding the front of the hotel was a little bit confusing. The hotel is just one of several businesses occupying a large building that faces both sides of a street corner. There are signs for the hotel and doors to the building on each side of the corner. However, access to the hotel is only on one side. Signs inside the non-viable entrance indicate the hotel is aware of the confusion. Perhaps an outside sign directing hotel guests to the other entry would be helpful - or maybe I missed it?

Location was great only about 20 min taxi ride from the airport (EU$30) and it is also about 10 min walking to the train station. The hotel is very close (10-15min walk) to the city center and many attractions. Breakfast was great with many options to select from, and coffee was amazing. Customer service was very good, and employees were friendly and helpful. We checked out after breakfast and left our luggage stored at the hotel for the day while we visited the city. We were here for only one night and didn’t need anything bigger than what we had for one night. The building has some stairs to come inside and we carried our luggage without issue but there are several employees willing to help if needed.

We were told the train station was easy access with luggage but we wished they had instead helped us call a taxi even for 10 min walk, walking to the station with luggage on cobble stone streets was a bit of a challenge.

We loved the location, the room was very spacious and had a lovely balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Good parking solution, with extra charge. Very good breakfast. Mu wife was ill and I could take the breakfast up to her room.

Since it was April, it was still relatively cold and we were told that heating would be automatically turned on at 6PM which never happened. There was also no AC remote so we had to go to the reception and explain and ask for the remote. Fortunately, that worked out. Location is great and central, however rather noisy. Finally, the minibar was empty which, combined with the heating issue was a bit surprising regarding the price.

My stay at Hotel Palazzo Vecchio was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean, and had a smart TV for relaxation. Its convenient location made exploring easy. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay.

Reflecting on my stay, there's very little to criticize. The only thing missing was a mini bar in the room, which would have been convenient. However, it didn't really affect my overall experience.
