The location is perfect. It is only 5-minute walk distance to the train station. It is very convenient to stay here. There are dozens of local restaurants and grocery stores with two or three blocks. The central market is only 5-minute away, and there are various cuisines you can enjoy there. The room is more spacious than I expected. In addition to the large bedroom, there is a lovely living room with rest area and a terrace full of vibrant plants. The washing machine and the clothes rack are very helpful. You can wash and dry clothes as you want. This is even more important in the hot and humid summer. The air conditioning indoors is also very effective. The property owner, Valentino, is living in another room of the same building. It is very convenient to ask for help. Once we arrived, he gave us a helpful introduction of the city and the property. After we checked out in the morning, he allowed us to store the luggage for half of the day, because our departure train was to leave in the afternoon. The bottles of water and snacks are refreshed everyday. The daily housekeeping service is excellent, and the rooms are kept impeccably clean. If we have the opportunity to visit Florence again, we will definitely stay at this hotel once more and would definitely recommend it to friends traveling there.

Wonderful one night stay at Locanda. Pleased to meet Valentino who gave us tips and historical background into the city so we won't miss what's important. Free chocolate muffins and espresso coffee pods were a nice bonus.

Pictures of the room we chose showed a bath tub but that was only available in one of his three rooms and that room was already occupied. Best if you could request to be in that room if you're looking forward to it or if it will make or break your decision. Also the place is one the first floor with about two flights of stairs and no elevator - important to know if you're unable to carry luggage upstairs on your own.

Went to Firenze for a party and needed a comfortable location in the city centre. As we were arriving by train we looked for something close to the Santa Maria Novella railway station. This place was a few minutes walk from there. We had what accounts to a suite, a very large room with a kitchen an outside terrace. We did not use the airco, even if available, but needed an ironing board and the owner was very responsive, providing everything we needed. The room has a small washing machine, practical if you do not travel with a lot of luggage, and a coffee machine with complimentary sweets. Everything in Firenze is in walking range of this place.

Not that we didn't like that, but you need to be aware that you'll need to walk up 40 stairs to get to the room and there is no elevator. that wasn't an issue to us - young and strong - but should be noted.

Lovely clean and spacious apartment, only a few minutes walk from the train station. Very central location for all the main tourist sites. Terrace was a lovely area to sit out and enjoy some late evening sun. Valentino was very kind and helpful, providing a map and recommendations of places to eat and visit. Complimentary water and toiletries were provided throughout our stay along with coffee capsules etc. There is also a washing machine and fridge in the terrace suite.

We will never forget our stay at Locanda della Musica. First, it was such a pleasant surprise to have such a large room (more like a suite, actually) with a balcony. Then, speaking with the very kind owner we discovered that the name of the place was not chosen randomly. Like us, he is a music lover (and highly knowledgeable at that). We happened to have an extra ticket to the concert we were going to and he was pleased to make use of it (insisted on paying for it as well). The suite apartment faces an inner courtyard, so it is exceptionally quiet for the location in the center of Florence. We hope to return on future visits if it is available. That is one drawback of positive reviews... I apologize for not writing sooner - had family matters to attend to.

The room was actually like a small apartment! It was very nicely devorated, very comfortable, cozy and warm! At the most central place of Florence, walking distance of 10 mins to the important places, 3 mins to trim.. I don't have enough words to describe what a wonderful experience it was! I wish I could stay there forever!!! Also, the manager is a very kind and sweet man, although I was late for my check in and stood him.up one hour waiting for me, he was very kind and helpful! I will definitely go back and recommend it to all my friends!

Fantastic place in the centre of Florence. The apartment was really spacious and well equipped. The parking is very tight for a big car but we managed, really secure which was important. The guy who dealt with check in is really really helpful and told us where to go in our short time there and also recommended za za restaurant as we had a dog with us too. It was fantastic food and the place is beautiful and within short walking distance. X thank you 😊

It was perfect. The room is very nicely made, very spacious, extremely comfortable and sparkling clean. We very much appreciated the balcony with the beautiful plants and the air-conditioning. The bathroom is large and smartly separated in two parts. We had the room giving to the internal yard, so it was very calm, even though via Faenza is noisy. Location is perfect, at few minutes walk from the main attractions and close enough to the exits to the autostrada. Valentino is a great host, he gave us plenty of useful tips for Florence and was very available and caring. The price is fair for such a great room in Florence.

The host, Valentino, was very nice and knowledgeable about Florence. There is a nice Indian restaurant near the place. The beds are nice, the pillows were okay. The design is vintage with positive vibes and the facilities are pleasant. The shades can be opened and the sunlight fills the whole room during the afternoon which makes it very pleasant. It is only a 5-minute walk from the station which is very convenient. From the room, the city center is another 5 minutes of walking.

The door of the bathroom doesn't lock, so it can be opened from the outside. The fridge is very small. No elevator and the stairs are old and rough, so accessibility for people with limited mobility is difficult. I think the place is a bit overpriced, maybe 70-80% of the cost would make it fair.

Personnel was very accommodating and very helpful with informing us about everything in Florence, where to go, what to prepare, etc. for our short stay and genuinely a good person. On top of this the flat was very spacious, extremely clean, and perfectly situated in the city to move around as fast as we needed to.

The terrace was a bit small and the city tax was a bit annoying but other than that no complaints about anything else.
