The historical nature of the building really adds a lot of character and the location is ideal for the train station and sightseeing. The staff were incredibly helpful and my room was thoroughly cleaned. I thought the breakfast was suitably varied as it offered continental style and some cooked food for people who prefer a hot breakfast.

The wifi signal may not reach your room, which I think is common in historical buildings to be honest. It wasn't an issue for me personally as I just went to the reception area to get a better connection when needed.

The Hotel perfectly assembles the italian rustic-style that vibes really good with you stay in florence - the facility is soothingly cool in contrast to the city, so that‘s very nice - the breakfast offers some variety - he staff is friendly and capable - the Hotel is located very central and good to reach if you e.g. travel by train (near the central train station) - We loved the variety of restaurants just outside the door

the wifi was too weak to surf in our room, i guess you need to get lucky. It‘s really not a big deal though in a dream location like Firenze!

Great location - around 800-1,000m from the duomo and a pleasant walk it is. The breakfast was good, plenty on offer. The staff were really nice throughout, and the room was nice, and clean throughout our stay.

My issues are due to my height - I am 191cm/6'3" for reference. The bed frame at the end of the mattress prevented me from lying straight but my partner was fine. The shower could have been a bit more spacious but this is only a minor thing, as I am used to ducking in showers now!

Great location, right in the center close to everything we wanted to see. Despite having a separate bathroom it was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was super nice as well. Overall a great experience and definitely worth staying in the hotel!

It was too noisy for us and we could barely sleep as the people from the restaurant below would talk loudly and shout all night. The bed was so small that everytime one of you moves it just wakes you up. Not ideal if you value a good sleep.

A good variety of foods at breakfast, in line with the requirements for a rational diet. Excellent location, not only for exploring the city but also to convenient places to eat as well as grocery stores. Very close to Florence Central Train Station (5-7 minutes on foot). Very nice and clean room, matching the color and cultural and historical features of Florence, as well as modern bathroom, air conditioning and TV.

Maybe the hotel needs a bigger sign at the entrance. The sign with the name and category of the hotel is visible and even has its own lighting, but you may initially pass it by if you are not careful or are tired from the trip.

We had a short 2 night stay at Hotel Mario and it was perfect for us being close to the railway station. We walked about 350 metres. There are 2 flights of stairs to the first floor quite easy to do. The breakfast was buffet style anything from cereal, fruit, croissants cheese, cold meats to eggs and bacon. Juice and tea and coffee also available. There is a water filter machine you can fill up your bottle while you're staying there. The staff were helpful and friendly and we found our bed comfortable and had a large shower. Wifi was great too so I was able to work when we weren't sightseeing. The Central markets is 2 minutes walk away and Duomo about 5 minutes walk away and the street where the hotel is located has some great cafes and restaurants as well as a mini market.

I can't really find much to fault if I had to say something our room was situated in an area that was a little dark but we just turned the lights on. Nothing major at all.

Although close to the train station, we didn’t like this neighborhood (it looked just as the surroundings of all train stations over the world) Air conditioning didn’t work appropriately and Florence in August is on fire It does not have a lift

Everything was good, common areas very nice and comfy, with little kids it comes handy. Parking in front of hotel, locked. Room was big and very comfortable. People were very nice, thanks again Isabel and all! Breakfast is good and various, eggs, fruit, cereal, croissants, bread, coffee and more! Water and coffee always available.

We got bitten by mosquitoes first night because we didn't realize we had the electric anti mosquito in the room. Also WiFi can be improved.

Hotel is very well located near the train station and city center, good restaurants nearby. Rooms are decorated in a vintage style like in the pictures and are very confortable and clean, the towels were changed daily. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fresh croissants.

The quality of the coffee at breakfast can be improved, as in Italy usually can be found very good coffee.

Very nice room, comfortable and a great shower. Close to train station and only a short walk to restaurants and sights of Florence.

Steps to get up to reception with cases, lift would have been nice.
