The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Very nice room and AC great for a summer visit. The location is great because it's surroundings by local restaurants (not catering to tourists only) and so every meal was fantastic, and an esay walk to the tourist attractions, and the neighbourhood is very quiet, however the flat is at the top of the building on the third floor, so that's something to keep in mind if you have luggage. The vouchers for breakfast were brilliant because the little pastry shop and its staff are delightful, good coffee and food and good people, and the cafe is only a couple of minutes away from the property.

It would be really nice if the double room had an iron too and some plates for food (coffee mugs and spoons and instant coffee/tea and kettle were all provided), but otherwise it was great.

The location is really perfect - San Frediano is THE place to be when you visit Florence (that is way too crowded in the historic center). The room/appartment was more spacious than expected, with a very big bathroom, a small kitchen and even 2 toilets. In comparison the bedroom (and living room) seems a bit small proportionally but well decorated with a balcony. Good communication with the hosts. Overall a good experience.

The flat was very quiet because facing a yard- except with the neighbors (but no one can do anything against this). For breakfast we got vouchers to go to a traditional bakery/pastry shop which we like as an experience - though this was not necessarily a lot for a breakfast (we re Germans) and not super healthy - plus the shop was crowded and noisy. But an experience local style for sure. Probably the guidance on parking slots/restaurants, could be shared ahead & with more details - for someone not living in Italy not everything is obvious. But that s small details.

We stayed in a deluxe room with balcony( has glass floor and you can sit out of an evening) for 3 nights, that looks out over a lovely view of beautiful gardens. Our room was decorated to a high standard, with a very big shower, lovely kitchen , every care has been imputed to make your stay magnificent. The breakfast at a patisserie down the road, yum see our photos, allows you to chat to the locals. The owners are so caring and can’t do enough for you. Would I stay again definitely thank you for a fab stay in Florence.

We loved everything would recommend and stay again. I have high standards and like to stay somewhere nice when away and this was lovely. A tip maybe a light directly in hall and some local maps and information, where to hire city tours, boat hire ect….

The location was great, loads of good restaurants and cafes in the area and close to bus stops and walking into the city. The little cafe for complimentary breakfast was lovely. If you turn left just before the cafe then right you will find a little Carrefour supermarket which is open til 10pm if you wanted some milk and basic items

The entrance to the building was opposite some scaffolding and building works so it didn't look very inviting. Don't be put off the apartment itself is really really lovely

A lovely two-level room for a good price close to the heart of Florence. Enjoyed the breakfast in a cafe nearby (pastry there is amazing!). A great option for two people to stay for a few nights.

When we entered, the room had some funny smell (felt like some kind of paint or dye?), but the smell went almost away after proper airing. We also failed to find a socket suitable for the electric kettle. The shower was okay but you need to get used to adjust the temperature. These were just minor things, we really enjoyed the apartment!

Francesca was so quick with any correspondence, the location of the unit was close to everything , the unit was spotlessly clean and I felt safe at all times, as a solo traveller that was important for me. Francesca gives you voucher for breakfast, the Cafe is one of the very best in Florence , if you love pasty cooking , this Cafe offer day classes, but I think you'd have to book early. I thoroughly recommend San Frediano in Florence

We have had a wonderful two night stay at ‘In San Frediano’ arriving on the 1st June. Francesca provided us with comprehensive self check-in instructions. To enter the apartment, you use a code which unlocks the front door. The room was pristine, the bed very comfortable, and the air conditioning was powerful. During our stay it was 30+ degrees outside, but the room remained wonderfully cool. A small fridge was an excellent addition, and the Wi-Fi was super fast. The included breakfast was outstanding. The breakfast is served at a cafe down the road, less than a minute walk with seating inside and out. Both mornings we chose sweet pastries and cappuccinos - but they also have savoury options. The property is a good 15 minute walk from the main sights in Florence. We however did not find this an issue and it provided us with an opportunity to see parts of Florence we may not have seen otherwise. Fantastic value for money and we hope to return soon.

Excellent overall. New furniture, nicely decorated, good size and fully equipped kitchen. Location is also great. The breakfast vouchers for the nearby pasticceria are greatly appreciated and the pasticceria is great and authentic, packed with locals everyday (both weekdays and weekends).

To make the B&B absolutely perfect, I would install a Nespresso machine. Otherwise no complains. Also, there is an automatic LED light outside of the bedroom which turns on for a few second when you pass by. At night however, when you were sleeping, it would turn on by itself from time to time which somehow made you wonder if there was someone outside (there was no one...). Probably a glitch from the light.

The Deluxe room is very large with great facilities: a well-equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with walk-in shower, and an extremely comfortable, firm bed. A nice little balcony which looked onto an enclosed garden/courtyard. Air conditioning fantastic; Wifi connection strong. A good location if you don’t mind walking 15/20 mins to the central area.

There were no batteries in the safe; however, I’m sure if we had asked these would have been provided. We felt safe anyway because your room is behind three locked doors. The stairwell to the apartment isn’t at night, so be prepared to have a torch available if you’re back late.

Really nice apartment. Clean, very nicely decorated, beautiful bathroom, and a balcony. Plus great location. I'm not a big fan of "self check-in" in general and normally prefer hotels, but staff sent me an email beforehand with all necessary information, and it worked out alright.

Given that it's an apartment in a normal residential building, it can obviously be a bit more noisy. My first night, neighbors had a party, with music until long after midnight.
