The location is great on the south side of the Arno River in Florence. The hotel was very clean and well designed. The staff was very welcoming and quick to respond to any inquiries prior to our stay and during the stay as well. We even sent a couple of packages to the property a few days before we arrived and they were kind to hold them for us. There are many good restaurants and cafes nearby. The Duomo and many other tourist destinations are within a 10-15 minute walk. We also had an issue with the shower drain that was fixed immediately which was very nice.

Our room was facing the street and can be quite noisy at night because of live music from bars and people outside drinking until the early morning. If you need absolute silence like me then I recommend contacting the property to request a quieter room away from the street.

I wish our room was a bit higher, because we stayed at the zero floor and it was too dark, we slept way too much :). The only window we had was to a super tiny courtyard with a huge vase

All staff was super friendly and ready to help. For new arrivals, it is good to know that they are not there 24/7 and they are to be found outside on the bells (last floor). We got one of the expensiver rooms with a wonderful view of the river and old city centre. It was worth it to have a big suite with extra room to work in, bathroom with tub and a very large bed. The pictures on booking.com show it. It has a nice ambiance, It is in the not so overcrowded part of the city centre, with many bars, restaurants even in the same street. No sound from around disturbed because it faced the other side. The next door cafe is a nice recommendation to start the day, but also the cafe/bar at the corner has very good coffee and is (was) not packed with tourists. The restaurant accross the street is always full of (tourists) but has a super mix of very tasty pizzas, fish / seafood or meat dishes, and pasta. There is also a piazza around the corner and a big one two streets away. Both have nice options, too, for lunch and dinner. There might be the one or the other a little more expensive and not so good, but the ambiance was not so Disneyland-style like around the sights on the other river-side. Still, there are even there many hidden gems and it is worth to stroll around and not to take the first option. The hotel has a perfect location to explore Florence.

Only the mattrass should be changed sooner than later because it is not even anymore.

Nothing out of this world and although I liked the room, I think in the pictures it looked much better.

It was obvious that this is a professionally run guest house. Cleaning staff were in uniforms, and the front desk had regular daily hours. We were greeted promptly, and the room was ready when promised. The room was immaculate. They provide complimentary water and coffee. The location is close to the river (and thus walking distance to everything we wanted to see). The guest house is on the 4th level of a charming building. It is the highest level on the street, offering an amazing view.

The guest house is on a street with a few bars, including venues for live music. We thought it added to the appeal, but if you require total silence, you may wish to be mindful of this information.

In a great location on the other side of the river Arno from the Duomo but within a 15 minute stroll. Good inexpensive restaurants nearby. The lift only takes one person but that wasn’t a problem as we were on the ground floor. The situation of the hotel was perfect and in quite a buzzy area. Also round the corner from the second best Gelato establishment which we visited regularly!!! I wanted a hotel that was typical old Italian and wasn’t disappointed. We stayed four nights . Only thing I would say is more coat hangers please. We only had four but I think this is probably quite typical. All in all very enjoyable stay.

The hosts were very welcoming and nice. The room is spacious with a nice view. Good location with nearby convenience store and restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Most attractions are within 15 minutes walk or less. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

The employees. They worked hard to make us comfortable and welcome. It was a really beautiful building in a great location.

The booking description told us there was sound proofing, there wasn’t. So our first night stay in a nice room with a beautiful view sounded like we were sleeping outside in a busy street. The employees were lovely and allowed us to change rooms, this room was quiet, but average in quality and the bathroom shower was a little mouldy.

The hotel was absolutely perfect. Excellent location and well presented rooms. There are more than enough facilities i.e restaurant, cafes and shops right outside the hotel. The staff were friendly and were more than approachable for questions. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Florence for a second time.

Honestly there was not much I didn't like and can't write a negative review.

The room is definitely a wow factor room - with the tall ceilings, spacious layout, beautiful tall window overlooking the river and coffee maker to go - made for the perfect stay. Accessible to all attractions via walking. Walking distance to main train station. Many wonderfully delicious cafes and restaurants around the corner.
