In general, good value for your money! Very friendly host. The room was fine and the beds were comfortable. We really liked the location, besides the fact that it was a 20min walk to the city centre, but it was a really calm neighborhood and not full of touristic places and restaurants. The bathroom was basic but clean and everything worked just fine. Overall, great place to stay during your citytrip to Florence!

We missed a small fridge and a water boiler in our room. And there was not much space to store your clothes. The location is not close to all the highlights in Florence but for us this was not a problem; we like to walk:)

The host was very kind and helpful by providing very detailed information of places where we could go to visit as well as restaurants and bars. We also were able to check in at 11.45am instead of 3pm which was very much appreciated! The room and bathroom we had was on second floor and it was very clean! Location is absolutely spot on. 3 min walk to any bus stops, supermarket 5 mins away, restaurants 3 mins away and a 20 min walk to where the river is!

The room was a little bit on the smaller side and there was only 1 toilet roll for 3/4 bedrooms. The air conditioning stopped working on day 2 which meant leaving windows open and getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. Otherwise, everything else was good! I would stay again, but not for that price.

Pros were the location across the river in the Oltrarno area, away from the crowds but close enough to walk to attractions, the cleanliness of the place and the attentive staff who checked us n.

Most hostels provide a shared kitchen and community area with a place to eat, but we were told that the kitchen was “not for guests”. Why not? It is expensive to eat in restaurants for every meal and inconvenient to go out for coffee if you are an early riser. We would have preferred to prepare some meals and eat at the hostel. The rooms are also very small and packed close together so that you hear every sound from those nearby and in the hallway. For these 2 reasons I would not choose to stay here again.

we really enjoyed our stay in this place. the location was convenient. 30 minute walk from touristic places. the staff were friendly and explained everything quite well. Ac worked great. the interior design is impressive. And we could leave our stuff there after our check out so it was really helpful. overall I recommend this place.

it would be nice to have at least a small bottle of water there. when we first arrived we did not have anything and too tired to go out side and get water so we were a little bit bothered by that. also the bed was supposed to be a queen bed but it was two singles pushed together, but not a big deal. also be careful there is not any shampoo or anything inside the shower so make sure to bring yours. but there is towels so its good.

Helpful and kind staff, got a hanger for clothes and advice on where to travel next. Good common area both inside and outside. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, good shower and toilet, got a towel, contacts near the beds and a lamp.

Was a bit loud one night when there was a social gathering downstairs. I slept on the first floor tho, and would still recommend the place. Also they dont have a place to leave your laugage/lockers for a big bag.

It was a nice big space and had great potential to build community in the common areas but the kitchen and bar staff were on holidays when I stayed. The staff were lovely and accomodating. I had an issue where my skin was reacting to the something in the bed and I could get onto staff in the middle of the night and they directed me to free bed to stay in no problem.

It is a little far from night life and Florence… but this can be seen as both a pro and con. The bars and cafes we saw out this way way more local and are therefore more affordable. It was nice finding the gems in this area by chance.

Amazing staff. Andrea was super friendly and even allowed me to send my suitcase to the hostel while I walked the via degli dei. Location was great, too. I really liked my own little room.

Lots of mosquitoes, because the cleaner left the windows wide open. Also the kitchenette didn’t have a kettle. The employee offered me the one from their big kitchen but that was very inconvenient. They should just provide a kettle on each floor. :)

Helpful staff when we arrived, as well as informative messages beforehand. Spacious room; appealing decor and mostly everything you need for a short stay. Also fantastic location, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby and a convenient 15-minute walk to the river.

The key issue is noise, as mentioned in other reviews too. The hostel has a big bar downstairs and they warn that they host parties, events, etc. on Fridays and weekends. During our stay, however, they were playing very loud music on a Thursday night! We fell asleep after a while, but along with the thin walls, you should look elsewhere if noise is a problem for you. The room also didn't have a safe, which we found frustrating. There are some basic lockers in the bathroom, but no lock provided: you would need to bring your own, and even then, a humid bathroom probably isn't the best place for important documents. Finally, expect some insects or mosquitoes in your room – we still had a few flying about despite not opening the windows.

Everything was clean and organized. The staff was really helpful. The room was spacious and breezy, and we had individual lamps next to the bed. They had lockers in the room to keep your stuff safe, but you need to bring a locker. The location was near a few things and it's easy to get by (note that the street at night is dark, so it's advisable to take extra precautions)

One of the bathroom doors were broken, so they added a notice to knock. Good thing everyone was really respectful and knocked to check if there was someone inside. I also wish there was an extra security for the room door, because anyone could come in, but I guess that's okay since you're sharing it with 5 more people.

The staff at the reception was extremely helpful. They suggested the local places to visit with proper maps and instructions, which was very helpful for a first-timer. The check-in and check-out were smooth. Great, quite residential place. Many good restaurants nearby that suits your taste.

In our room, the AC was not functioning properly. Besides this point, we didn't face any issues with this place.
