Where to start.....everything was absolutely fabulous. A Florentine 'Party House' with many beautiful original rennaisance features. Danielle and her staff are the perfect hosts and we were incredibly well looked after there. Never stayed anywhere with so many 'wow' moments.The 6 course traditional Italian breakfast was amazing, prosecco in the fridge and a spread of biscuits amd sweets in the bedroom and shared areas. Went out their way to store friends luggage although they weren't guests.

Palazzo Tolomei is really impressive (both in architecture and history) We stayed in a suite with beautiful paintings on the ceiling. I liked it a lot! The staff was friendly and supportive, always welcoming us with a smile. Signora Daniela Agnelli (the owner of the place) provided us with interesting (and entertaining) information on different topics (food, Italian eating habits, art, itinerary etc.). She is very attentive to details. The cleaning service was also very good. Staying in the Palazzo was a delight!

Wonderful hosts in a truly authentic Italian Palazzo. So much history right there. You will not be disappointed. Perfect location in the historical centre. Daniella and Dario greeted us like family on arrival giving us a tour of the hotel, telling us about the sights and even booking us a local restaurant. Breakfast was an experience in itself, again the staff are attentive and friendly ensuring you have everything you need. Staying here really made our trip to Florence very special. We would highly recommend Palazzo Tolomei to anyone staying in Florence.

Palazzo Tolomei is a unique and historic building centrally located, still discrete and tranquil. We had an excellent stay in a large, spacious junior suite with beautiful frescos in the walls and ceiling, a very rich, carefully prepared traditional breakfast that changed every day and last but not least a generous, warm and open to communicate owner Siniora Daniela and her young, smiley and hospitable team. It was really a unique and memorable experience and we would definitely return when in Florence.

Although we appreciate the historic nature of the property we think that some of the bathroom features could be more adapt to the practical needs I.e, space layout, space for the toiletries, shower batteries for water mixing, etc.

Exceptional accommodation central to main attractions. Daniella and her team were attentive and welcoming, you felt as though you were staying with friends in an intimate setting. Breakfast was a standout and the local specialities as well as the service and conversation contributing to our knowledge of life in Florence. The Palazzo has a wonderful history and there are many rooms which are designed with books, music and local treats to complement your stay. Generous provisions and welcome gift in room. Ours had a loft bed up a spiral staircase which was perfect for a mother/daughter trip. We left early on our final day and departed with a breakfast box and a personal note. Highly recommend.

Lighting in bathroom for applying makeup - minor thing. Everything else wonderful.

The location in the heart of Florence and the Angel owner Daniella 💖 The breakfast was a delight and completely different yet authentic!!! The best egg preparations everyday which was the best one we had in whole of our 4 week Italy vacation at 10 different locations. The bed was very pleasant and one of the best amongst all our stays .

My stay at the Palazzo Tolomei was nothing short of extraordinary. It is not a "hotel" or "B&B", it is truly a Palazzo experience. The room was more than a room, it was a "residence"; the daily multi-multi-multi course breakfast (included) served by the lovely Albana is the best way to start the day before heading out to explore the beautiful city just outside its doorsteps. The owner Daniela is one of the most gracious hostess I have encountered in my many years of travel. My group had the opportunity to enjoy the wine tasting by Daniela's charming son Ricardo in the splendour of the Palazzo's music room, and it was absolutely delightful. If there is a Michelin Guide for accommodations, this will certainly be a 3-star property. In the meanwhile, I shall rate it at 5+ star - definitely book your stay here.

I wish there was an option to have dinner on the property, so that guests can enjoy the Palazzo itself . However, I was advised that a chef could be available to prepare private dinners in the breakfast room with a week's notice. I look forward to this experience when I return.

Palazzo Tolomei is the perfect alternative to any hotel in Florence. All of us 4 - parents and two youngsters - loved this place ! Situated in the very centre of town and led by the owner - Daniela - who is offering not only a well-maintained Palazzo but also a very professional plus very warm and humanly and welcoming service. The breakfast is rich and with traditional, local specialities, that are explained and served by Daniela and her team. Great ! The central location allows you to have a rest or a short siesta whenever you require it during the day. We slept like angels below wonderful painted ceilings with angelos.... If there are any questions or issues - Daniela and her team will help you !

First of all you have to know “ you arent in a hotel, you are in a 700 years historical palace” Second you are not a customer “ you are a friendly guest” Then i can wrote something how there are… Daniela and all other people are fantastic and made our stay an unforgettable memory. They prepared for my wife a birthday event while breakfast and was so kind and nice. Many thanks for all 🙏

Everything was more than perfect. The personal touch by the hostess gave a very welcoming feel. She was extremely helpful. Welcomed us personally. Before we reached she had already arranged a valet for our car, she made sure the check in was smoothly done. She also suggested and booked the best restaurants for us. The breakfast needs a special mention, sadly we could only have it on the first day. As we had to leave early they were kind enough to pack our breakfast with sandwiches, cakes, etc. Thank you to the entire team.
