The B & B is ideally located inside the old town of Lucca and only short walk from the Stazione, and very easy to find. The B & B upgraded us to the large family room (at zero extra cost) with kitchenette. It was terrific and very spacious while the self catering facilities although limited allowed us to prepare our evening meals. The room was on the second floor so their were stairs to negotiate but the staff carried our bags up the stairs. The breakfast provided was good with cereal, yoghurt, cold meats & cheese and pastries and a good coffee machine which was available all day. Would certainly recommend the B & B for a stay in Lucca but next time I would book the self catering room.

Nothing really to fault.

The location was brilliant. Quiet with excellent access to the station on foot, inside the city wall, close to the cathedral and the Piazza Napoleone where we were attending a concert. The staff was very nice and we were able to leave our luggage in reception after checking out. The room was fairly bare but clean and had the essential facilities.

A little stuffy at night despite air conditioning. Getting the toilet flush to work was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was quite good, but we were disappointed with the morning coffee as it came from a vending-type machine.

The staff went out of their way to help me with all my needs. Eg I was allowed to check out 1.5 hours later than the usual time, as the room was still free. This was great as I could go for a bike ride then come back and change. I was allowed to bring my bike in as I checked out, to use their adapter to charge my phone, and get changed in the room after I had checked out. If has a peaceful and quiet ambiance. It feels like you are the only guest and are fully attended to. Very relaxing. The bed and bedding was superb. So comfortable. The bar that is open for snacks and hot drinks as you want them, at no charge, was a welcome addition. Great location. Good breakfast, nice selection of continental breakfast, and the gluten free options were relatively varied. Fantastic service. Highly recommend.

The room was a bit small but there was only one of me so I could manage. If you were on the larger side you might not fit in the shower of the one person room. The shower is nice and has good power and hot water, but there's not much space to move your arms eg to wash your hair.

Welcoming, helpful staff - I arrived early and was allowed to leave my luggage. Room and modern bathroom both comfortable, spacious and clean. A very good breakfast - it was much more than a usual Italian breakfast having cold meats, cheeses, boiled eggs available. Coffee from machine available through the day. In a nice quiet area yet only about 5 minutes walk from cafes/restaurants/bars. Easy to reach from the train station.

On our round trip through Northern Italy we stopped in Lucca from 20.7.-21.7.22. We had booked a double room at the B&B Il Seminario. We were there for the Zucchero concert (LSF "Lucca Summer Festival"). The hotel is very centrally located, right on the edge of the old town. The old town is closed to cars. All the sights can easily be reached on foot. For this reason, it is absolutely necessary to reserve a parking space in advance. Costs 10 euros per night. The car park is right next to the hotel. Check in went smoothly. Our room was on the first floor. Simple double room. Well furnished for a Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are functional. The breakfast is good. Offers everything you want. You can also have breakfast on the terrace, which is a bit small and not very nicely decorated. The staff is top. Very helpful and friendly. They can give very good tips. We recommend the B&B Il Seminario

Location is great, easy walk from the station, just inside the wall. Great place as a start point for exploration . The room was spacious & we had a nice quirky 2 level bathroom. We faced onto the street but as the whole of Lucca is very peaceful this wasn't a problem. The bed was very comfortable & there were spare soft pillows in the wardrobe. The breakfast was a buffet style, plenty of choice, cereals, eggs, ham, cheese tomatoes, pastries, yoghurts, fresh fruit, juices & tea & coffee

Only one minor, the fridge didn't work but didn't use it as only there 2 nights.

Being for the first time in Lucca , far for just a few days fr. my chaotic and stressful city Rome , the relax and silence found in this place just a stone threw away fr. the train station has been a wonderful and full experience ! I'm traveling on my own and Sonia and Eleonora have been so kind until the end , letting my luggage indoor even after my check-out !

A great place with great staff. Close to the small historic town. We walked everywhere. The rooms are big, clean and very pleasant with a very nice and clean Bathroom. The staff is great and the breakfast is good and plenty. Unfortunately we had Covid there and we want to thank the staff for all the attention and care we got.

The staff were always available to explain everything. The room was beautiful It was easy to access, and although there was not a lift, the staff helped me with my case The vending machine with snacks and cold drinks was really useful

It is just Lucca as it is cobbled and hilly, although stunning. Quite an exercise getting my suitcase up and down across the cobbles.

Welcoming, kind staff, quiet location near walls, not too far to walk from station. Nice breakfast, also coffee and cake in afternoon. Bathroom lovely and warm, in early February. Lucca is a lovely city, walking the walls one of my favourite experiences.

The room was quite basic, wrought iron could do with repaint. This would not stop me going there again.
