Modern, bright, great location. The bathroom and bedroom were well appointed and very nicely done. The staff were lovely and helpful and they had a great breakfast on offer.

The air conditioning didn’t work properly and despite having it on all night we woke up sweating and had to use a cold flannel to go back to sleep. We specifically booked accommodation with AC and it just didn’t cut it unfortunately. On entry to the room I found a couple of small bits of rubbish on the floor next to the bedside table which made me question how thorough the cleaning was. We still really enjoyed the stay but both of these elements could do with improvement.

The location was superb-about a 10 minute walk to everything. The room was very clean, it was the most spacious of accommodations we have had in Italy. Pictures do not do the space justice. The decor, linens, pillows and bed were five star and incredibly comfortable, fresh and new. The owner was very helpful and made the best cappuccino. The breakfast was delicious. Don’t let street view fool you, from the outside it is very basic and unassuming. The inside exceeded every expectation.

Waiting for 40 minutes to be able to get the room. (I called and they said they’d be there in 10 minutes… turns out it ended up being 40 mins with no apologies!). The morning of the check in i got a text to let them know what time we’d check in. I responded … we’ll be there before 7pm (time stated online as the end of check in) being on vacation I’m not on schedule to exactly know when i’ll check in! Aside from that all was very great.

The family that runs this guest house was very nice. They were very prompt in meeting us. We had a problem with working the television and they came over to help us even though it was later in the evening. The beds were very comfortable and the location was great! So after talking to my husband, I decided it really is a 10 because they helped my husband out. He wanted to watch TV and they got it fixed if it was 9 o’clock at night.

Just away from the main busy area but only a short walk in and to the train station and lovely view out of the window. Newly refurbished and modern, with nice air conditioning. Host was great in the morning preparing a lovely breakfast with fresh pastries and coffee. Check out was easy. A great stay and great value for money.

Not that it affected us, there is no lift and is on the second floor however host helped with luggage.

EVERYTHING!!! From the day we arrived Lorenzo couldn’t have been anymore helpful. Our room was perfect! Spotless, cosy and very modern. Exactly what is needed for a great stay. Each morning Lorenzo prepared us a beautiful continental breakfast with everything you could want with coffee!!! Our flight home was early which meant we would miss breakfast on our last morning - however Lorenzo came early in the morning to prepare our breakfast for us. We were so grateful and just shows what an amazing host and guest house this place really is! I recommend In Lucus for anyone coming to Lucca to stay you will NOT be disappointed!!

Exceptional guest house in Lucca. Extremely well furnished with everything you could need and some free waters for the fridge. Very central and close to everything. The owner and his father were so friendly. Great breakfast. I wish Lorenzo well with his guest house. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really. Was lovely and quiet and everything was if very high standard.

Location was amazing. Facilities in the property fantastic. Would highly recommend. Toiletries & breakfast included. Shower really powerful & hot water throughout the day / evening. There are a number of restaurants and little shops on the same road. The main train station in Lucca was no more than a 15 minute casual stroll. B&B is only 5 minutes to the city wall. Bedding was great quality and the bed very comfortable. We would stay again in a heart beat. Very clean throughout. There is a bike hire shop 3 doors away from the property.

Small b&b in Lucca on the 2nd floor of a house in the city center. The room was extremely comfortable, very clean and large! The bathroom newly renovated and equipped with everything we needed. The room was very quiet with a beautiful view in a garden and very high quality, tastefully furnished. The bed was super comfortable and the mattresses of high quality. We asked the owner beforehand about vegan options for breakfast and the breakfast was extremely beyond our expectations. Thank you very much! Highly recommended.

It was great to arrive at this nice large and clean room after a long day. The owner wrote to make sure he would be there to let us in and set us up. the inn is a whole floor of guest rooms with a breakfast area. Great shower and very comfortable room. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were very good! Well located in the city, we walked everywhere. Bike rentals near bye.
