The location, so close to everything! Shopping, The Wall, transportation and food! My room was soooo very quaint, comfortable and welcoming with beautiful views of the back veranda and yard. But what truly made our experience a most treasured one…Elizabeth and Andrea! These beautiful women were so sweet and made us feel like kings and queens! Both made the very best cappuccino I’ve ever had in my life😋. They also made sure that all of the delectable goodies were there and available for us in the kitchen 24hrs a day! Missing y’all😢🤗. Will definitely be back to Lucca and will absolutely stay here again!!! ❤️

No elevator so depending on the location of your room, you’ll have to carry your luggage up the beautiful marble staircase

Perfection location just outside the city center. Staff was amazing. Special mention to Elizabeth who was always there to assist me wether booking me taxi, helping store my meds, giving valuable tips for Lucca. She is simply amazing! My room was huge! I had a separate receiving area outside my room. That’s where all my luggage went. Bathroom had an old school bidet which was cool. Breakfast was the usual European breakfast of cold cuts and assorted breads and fruits. I would highly recommend booking this place! It’s a gem!

I would have liked it if they at least had English news channel.

Villa Lucrezia is in an excellent position just outside the walls of Lucca. Porta Elisa and your entry to Lucca is only a couple of minutes away via the pedestrian crossings that are just outside the door. The area is quiet guaranteeing a good nights sleep. There are gardens to enjoy during the warmer months and parking if you arrive by car. The station is also an easy walk for those travelling by train. This property has an excellent breakfast each day. You can eat your breakfast in the breakfast room or opt to enjoy it in the gardens. There is plenty of food and you can also access snacks during the day. The staff are very welcoming and happy to help you in any way they can. The property is spotlessly clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I certainly enjoyed my stay at Villa Lucrezia.

It would be lovely to have access to a fridge for guests to keep drinks cold.

The location was excellent - a short stroll from the station, and close to the old town. The breakfast was excellent: huge choice of foods, including yogurt, fruit, juice, croissants, cold meats and cheeses. The hotel has some nice areas where you can sit and read a book, and an outside space for when the weather is nice. The staff are very nice. Our room was not huge, and lacked space for storing luggage and could have done with some drawers for clothes.

A pretty Italian Villa right on outskirts of Lucca old town. Perfect for walking into town to explore and plenty of parking in the private grounds of the Villa. Room was comfortable, non-fussy decoration and plenty of space although the bathroom was rather cosy! Only drawback for us was that our room overlooked the road so was quite noisy. Warm reception from staff, breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. Lucca is a beautiful town.

I loved everything about the property. The old with the new. The decor and the kitchen and dining area. It had so much charm. Elizabetha, Andrea, and Jean Carlos were gems! The villa is near everything and in walking distance. I really felt safe visiting. Everything so clean!

Nothing! Everything was wonderful! Only suggestion is to make it plain on the website that there are stairs and you will need to climb stairs to get to some rooms.

It is just a great Hotel, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. What a nice place to stay, directly at one gate to the ancient city. The room was beautifuly, big and there were even snacks available during the day. The breakfast was more than plentiful, not like many other Italien hotels. We really enyoyed the stay and will definitely come back

The access to the parking lot is very tiny, it was a challenge to drive the BMW 5 through the gate. The price is higer than comparable hotels

Lovely place, the room is beautiful and spacious and the atmosphere is very nice-feels homely, safe and relaxed. The staff are nice and friendly and it was great to have a selection of snacks and drinks available 24/7. The location is also great.

I came to Lucca for work and unfortunately the desk in the room is not really a desk and I couldn't really use it. I worked in the breakfast room instead but it was quite dark and I may have inconvenienced the staff. The garden is beautiful but there is a mosquito problem so couldn't use that space either. Soundproofing is not great since the building is old and I could hear every person going up and down the stairs. I moved to a quieter room which was a bit better.

Beautiful villa with a beautiful garden where you can have breakfast. The property is ideally located, we have actually two rooms with a balcony. The staff made our holiday special, Elizabeth gave very good advice about restaurants, Francesco helped us with the routes and solve a problem when a gas station charged us more money than was written on the receipt.

the room was poorly ventilated and the bathroom needed updating

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the shower facilities were, as the kids would say " all that, and a bag of chips". The grounds were picturesque with an outdoor covered eating area for breakfast or relaxing with family. Parking was ample in the back between the building and reception area and is protected by a gate with a private driveway. French doors open onto a patio and the location outside the city walls of Lucca were perfect. Also, this place still has skeleton keys for the doors.

We were only at this location for one night and wish we had more time to explore.
