Our experience with Municipio apartment is above expected. It was a very pleasant stay, the owner Andrea is a great host. He is always there for you, he replies on every message instantly and answers any question you have regarding the room or city attractions. He also took care about any small issues we had with the room. He takes a really good care of his guests. We need more hosts like Andrea, definitely! The room has excellent location: walking distance to major city attractions (castle Nuovo just around the corner, castle Sant Elmo, Royal Palace, etc.), sea coast and, most important, airport bus Alibus station is just across the street. Public transport: metro station Municipio is 600 m away, and tram lines 1&2 are in front of the building. The building: some reviews say it is hard to find. The owner Andrea will send you location details, it is not hard to find, just a bit confusing. The main door is between a coffee shop/pastery on the left and a Filippino restaurant on the right. At the first main door (Area A), there are multiple signs for businesses and apartments located in this building. Then you cross the inner courtyard and you reach the second main door (Area B). The apartment is on the 6th floor. Be aware that you need to pay for elevator rides (5 cents/ride, only on work days, weekends and evenings are free). Not expensive, it is just tiring to think about whether you have 5 cents in your pocket or not. My advice: bring coins with you or exchange money at a nearby shop. The room: The Municipio apartment lacks detailed description. You will get a single room with private bathroom, a small fridge, TV and a big private balcony with a table and two chairs in a huge apartment (there are 5-6 rooms alltogether, shared kitchen, living room and a reception). The kitchen is shared with other rooms and it is basic: espresso machine, tea kettle, cutlery, dishes, etc.

Whatever issue we had with the Municipio room, Andrea took care of it instantly. The only con are thin walls between rooms, so you can hear your neighbours. We had bad luck and our neighbours were very loud in the evening. But that depends on people's manners, this is not the owner's fault. Be aware that not all rooms share walls, there are two rooms completely separated from others, so I guess they're more peaceful. My suggestion: bring earplugs with you, just in case! Also, the bed was a bit stiff and hard for my taste. But everything else was perfect. I definitely recommend Municipio apartment!

Excellent location. No breakfast - coffee only. Be aware that at certain times you must insert a coin in the elevator and the hotel is on the 6th floor. No fun to walk up 6 flights with luggage if you have no cash! No reception desk as it is small hotel but host is reachable by WhatsApp.

Signage was rather lacking. Arrive in daylight if possible.

Excellent location: walking distance to major city attractions & metro and the Alibus station for the airport is just across the street. Coffee and tea are always available in the kitchen and André was very nice and welcoming. The area is very safe (although in comparison to Rome, the entire city felt that way) and it has a nice side view to the port and castel Saint'Elmo. Our room was very clean and had a big balcony and the window blinds were much appreciated. Great value for money and the 5cents fee for the elevator is only on week days between 8-13 and 15-19 so it wasn't an inconvenience for us to go down 6 flights of stairs. Also, we could leave our luggage at the location and enjoy the last day until our flight. I highly recommend it.

The only downside for us was the cold floor, which is for sure a problem only in winter. The room is AC heated, but that was ok. I would recommend some slippers for the winter period and a shower rug -cold floor and wet feet is not a good combination 😄

Very simple place, chosen for the location very close to the ferry. That said, it is a bit challenging to find because it is is a group of office type high rises with lots of different b&bs, offices. But, the value can't be beat. The host was SO nice and SO helpful; I really can't say enough about his friendliness and willing to help us with everything. The rooms were very clean.

We were literally only there a whopping 11 hours, so it was just a quick, inexpensive place to sleep. The elevators are a bit challenging - you must have a 5 cent piece to work the 2 person (teeny!) elevators.

A decent place to stay

The heating did not worked in the first day , it was resolved the second day and the sea view is only visible from the balcony.

Everything . Not many people speak good English in Italy. Andrey was a great host. He speak good English and very helping guy like an angel . He attended to me personally to make sure everything is up to my expectations . He was there for me when i met him at the property and offered me a local drink Russo whisky made of melons'. He guided me on how to shop around for cheap , visit tourist places like Capri and Amalfi etc. He never took more than 5 mins to return my WhatsApp messages if had any questions . It was like having someone to support you for everything 24x7 . Now its rare in Italy because when i travelled to Venice and Florence my experience with hotels is not that good because staff here was not very professional and helping . May be Andrey raised the bar for my expectations :-) . I look forward to come and visit this hotel again and will send my friends over as well. If you are planning to book it , don't think twice but one thing for sure you will be spoiled for your expectations :-). In Italy overall people are not very service quality oriented but when you will stay here you will realize that this hotel is an exception . Over all i give 10/10 to this hotel .

All was great . This property right there on the sea edge and where all ferries leave for Capri and Amalfi .

Municipio sea is very close to most of the city attraction and metro/bus. The room and bathroom was clean. From the balcony you can see port and Castel Sant Elmo. Air conditioning works good. In the kitchen you can use kettle and coffee machine, also juices and some snacks are to share. You can leave your stuff in baggage room if your flight is late. Andre was very kind and helpful, you can write to him in WhatsApp and he quickly answer. For us it isn't difficult to find Municipio sea.

Broken shower, noisy at night (close to street and port)

Absolutely fenomenal location of the place. Very easy transport from the airport by one bus, good for family with a two year old :-) close to marina and ferry stops from where you can travel further to capri,amalfi,positano etc. underground is just near the corner and it is very close to main square. great caffee places around and wonderful restaurants. Host is very friendly, very communicative and supportive. I am so happy to have chosen that place for our stay in Napoli. Highly recommend.

We are very happy with our choice! We landed in Napoli in the morning and Andrea had our room prepared prior to the actual check-in. Getting to Municipio Sea from the airport was very easy with Alibus. The Metro station is at ~400m and it was easy to get to the Garibaldi train station and to Pompeii and Vesuvius. It took us like 70 minutes to reach Pompeii. There is a bus stop next to the Metro station and we used that to get to the catacombs of San Gennaro. Castel Nuovo is at walking distance and Castel dell'Ovo and other historical places are within walking distance as well (within 2km). There is a good italian restaurant next to the building as well a few breakfast places (one literally downstairs). Municipio Sea has a self-service area with free coffee, juice, and water. One of the Naple's ports is very close and this helped us reach Capri before 9am and enjoy Blue Grotto, Gardens of Augustus (and the island in general). You can't really book Capri in advance (unless you want a private tour) and Municipio Sea's spot made it easy. Last but not least - Andrea is a great host and very helpful. He quickly answered a couple of our questions and you can definitely count on him to help you enjoy Naples. He also booked us a taxi for 4am (our return flight was at 6:20am) and that made our return hassle-free.

Nothing related to Municipio Sea. They have been great! If you are visiting Naples for sightseeing and it is your first time, be aware of the temperatures in July/August. We been in Napoli end of July and the temperature was around 32C (37C under direct sunlight) and there is not much shadow on Pompeii and Vesuvius.

The owner Andrea is very hospitable, available, all our questions were answered immediately by Whatsapp or in person. The staff is really nice and attentive, the place is incredibly clean and cosy. Espresso is available in the kitchen. The photos on booking reflect the reality. Perfect location, the apartments are close to the port and the Spanish District, while other historic places are easy reachable by public transport or by foot. Airport bus stops just nearby, within 4 min walk. Comfortable stay for all 7 days.

Just really small details not even worth to mention.
