location was great, easy to walk to see so many sites. Choice of many restaurants near by. Entry was easy , our host Germano met us & from then on we had our own key access. Germano & his wife were so lovely , very helpful with tips on where to go. I loved that there was a lift & we didn’t have to carry our bags upstairs. Breakfast was simple but great. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staffs were nice.

The Rooms we stayed which didn’t look like the same as we booked. It didn’t have balcony either and it was located on the top floor without lift. We needed to bring our heavy luggage to the top floor and the stairs was very narrow. The Aircon didn’t work very well, maybe the weather was too hot. The reception was very hot when you walked in.

As a group of 4 friends visiting Sicily for the first time - this hotel was absolutely perfect! All communication from the hotel was given in a timely manner. We were greeted with such warmth and affection from Germano who immediately made us feel welcome. She is one wonderful lady! The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. All advice given regarding what to see and do when in Sicily was spot on. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Palermo - fantastic value for money.

Finding the hotel the first time in the dark was a little tricky as it is not entirely obvious!

Friendly staff (even with a quite late check-in) and very helpful, especially Federica who gave me a lot of local tips about the city and the surroundings. Everything in the room and bathroom (very spacious) was perfectly working. Very nice breakfast with plenty of Italian brioches. Quite central position with all services and shops at walking distance.

I booked a room with a balcony and two beds (even if I was alone, what I was offered from the pics and the description was a room like that) but I was given a room with no balcony and only one bed. The latter was not a problem, but I missed the balcony. My room was right next to the breakfast hall, so if you happen to meet other quite noisy guests there, they’ll wake you up…

Delightful rather quaint decor in public areas. Friendly helpful staff who spoke very good English. Rooms were great. I appreciated the fine mesh over the windows which protected from mosquitos and the very efficient air conditioning. Everything was scrupulously clean. Location was ideal. It felt very safe but was very close to the historic centre.

We would have liked some wholemeal bread at breakfast rather than white bread for toasting. However it's a minor gripe. If you like sweet croissants and cakes at breakfast you will be in heaven :)

The room was spacious and comfortable and the location in the old palazzo made it a unique setting that had historical charm. The location is good - within walking distance of the major sights and there are plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes. The staff were very helpful and courteous - even helped us snag a free parking spot on the street. Breakfast was very good and the dining area was comfy and convivial.

If you are not used to older Italian buildings you may find the entryway a bit alarming (or theatrical, as we did). You enter through a small door in the portone into a cavernous courtyard that looks like a stage set for a avant-garde production, but then take the elevator up to the B&B and it's just the opposite - cosy and comfy. Be aware of the very effective light-blocking shutters in the room! They make the room pitch dark and quiet if you close them all the way and you may oversleep, and shocked when you open them in the morning.

A 2 - 3 minute walk from the port and close to the centre of town and almost all transit hubs. Maria is a sweet dear of a host who truly cares for her guests. Her breakfast is delicious and simple, exactly what a traveller wants. The apartment is warm and full of old world charm and antiques. The bedrooms are large, private and super quiet. We enjoyed getting to know our fellow guests over breakfast, friendly and full of international insights, this brought memories of our early travel years. We recommend this bnb to anyone and would 100% stay here again. Thank you Maria Hugs Krystyna and Pedro

Nothing to dislike.

Absolutely stunning palazzo, gorgeous building in a great buzzy location. Internally the rooms have been painstakingly & sympathetically refurbished using antiques & great attention to detail. The high ceilings, parquet floors, comfortable beds, warm welcome, easy key access, super helpful host/owner, 24hr tea/coffee/water/toast, delicious breakfast. I could go on .. my daughter & I felt like royalty. It’s a hidden gem in a fabulous city. Numerous great restaurants literally in the same block too.

Nothing it’s perfect & incredible value for money. A luxurious home from home.

Very well located traditional B&B in central Palermo. Room was very good, though some of the soft furnishings could do with a refresh. Appreciate its in line with the high classical style of the room, which in its self is unique. Owner and staff very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was very good standard. Very convenient for airports shuttle bus.

Ne of us felt the furnishings could do with an update. But it’s all a matter of taste.
