A charming little guest house on the third floor of a historic building. An easy ~15 minute walk to Quattro Canti (that you can do mostly on the pedestrian Via Maqueda) and very close to the ferry terminal. Very friendly and helpful staff, large and comfortable rooms, nice amenities including toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer, and plenty of storage. GREAT shower - one of the best I've ever had in a hotel room! Lots of cafes and restaurants in the area but it is tucked away just off of the busy main street so not noisy.

This is more of a guesthouse than full service hotel. It worked out fine but we didn't realize this, since the booking.com description lists breakfast, room service, and bar as amenities, but none of these were available (there isn't even a common area for guests like a lobby or lounge). You could purchase what was essentially a voucher for a café around the corner for breakfast, and the room had a mini-bar with beer, wine, and water. Again it worked out fine - the room was much larger than a typical hotel room so we relaxed there - but just not exactly what we expected.

Liberty Suites' rooms are located on the third floor of an attractive 19th century apartment building. Our room had high ceilings and two balconies with glass doors that we kept open much of the time to take advantage of the cool breeze (at night, however, the closed soundproof doors largely eliminated street noise). The room was nicely furnished with chairs, a desk and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom, particularly the shower, was state of the art. The very attentive housekeeping staff took care of our every need and our host, Gabriele, could not have been more accommodating. We had, in short, a very comfortable stay. But Liberty Suites' most important feature may be its close proximity to Palermo's vibrant city center. Thanks to its location all of the most interesting parts of town were easily reachable on foot. We would happily return to Liberty Suites should our travels ever take us back to Palermo.

Beautiful room and decor. Location fab.

I requested to book parking as I read on their website it needed to be reserved and was told it was included. When I got there the parking in blue zones was full and it took me an hour to find payparking as it was dark and I am not familiar with the city. This was very stressful and I had to walk back alone from the payparking through areas I did not feel safe. I was not given the name of car parks or directions, I was told to google it. I would have preferred details of pay parking in advance of my stay so I could plan it and reserve it myself in advance as I was travelling alone.

This a value for money room at a great location for exploring Palermo. They have have a deal with a nearby car park for €18 that offers valet service. Reception was very welcoming, communicating very well and opened the doors for us remotely when we arrived after hours. There are two restaurants just below the apartments and if you look at the map you will realize you are a short walk away from a pedestrian street with many bars and restaurants.

This room cannot honestly be described as a “Junior Suite with balcony”. It was not a Suite and the balcony was not functional as one. The room was set up with one large bed plus two single ones, significantly reducing free space. The door to the room right next to ours was broken.

Staff has been very kind and helpful. Location is very convenient and the room perfectly adequate. Air conditioning was working well and was quite silent. A life-saver in those hot days.

Some of the furniture and the faucets in the bathroom look nice at first, but a closer look shows that they are on the cheap side and are starting to fall apart.

Hotel in a great location, 5 minutes walking from a popular street full of good places to drink and especially EAT Sicilian food. The online checkin was great, no need to lose time and we got to the room very quickly (we just had to make a call to the owner to warn of our arrival and find the right door bell). The room was clean and comfortable.

I booked this accommodation last minute and wasn’t expecting to be as satisfied as I was with my room. Very clean and spacious with great balcony and updated bathroom. It was nice to have a receptionist there to help with all our needs and questions.

No complaints

The highlight for me was the excellent communication with the manager. We arrived very late and he was waiting for us to check in (remotely). The room was clean and comfortable (although a bit smaller than what I expected). The location is quite good with good access to the old part of the city.

The lift looked old and there wasn't a clear sign if it worked properly or not so we never used it but other people did.

It was clean, had the needed toiletries, and it was a nice view from the balcony. Staff was very nice.

We needed an iron but it was kept on Recepsion and it worked only 8:00-13:00, and we arrived later. So we couldn’t get one.

It was a very clean rooms and the style is very nice. The check in was quite easy and the receptionist was very friendly.

It was a bit confusing with the elevator as it's a bit old.
