Great location, close to the railway station but felt safe and nice. The building itself is very nice, old style but in good shape, it adds to the romantic feeling of being in Rome. The metro station is just across the street and all the main attractions are reachable on foot. Breakfast is amazing, the staff is very pleasant, helped us in finding our way around the city, we could leave our bags after check-out. Fully recommended.

Everything in this hotel was perfect for us. We stayed here 10 days, so we hope our review helps. All went smoothly at check-in (including the payment process which in some hotels is problematic). We had mentioned in our booking that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary and would like a room with a nice view. They offered a wonderful room (520) with stunning views of Rome and the mountains in the background. After checking-in we were also surprised to receive champagne and snacks for our anniversary, a gesture that moved us greatly. Breakfast is excellent, varied from one day to another so in 10 days we didn't get bored. The quality of food is also important (we appreciated the freshly baked sourdough bread and sweet pastries), capuccino was excellent and the staff always there to help. Everyone in this hotel is friendly, they speak multiple foreign languages (all speak English) and make you feel at home. Cleaning staff are all very professional and on our floor the lady was the picture of kindness (5th floor). The air conditioning is centralised and works perfectly (we had over 35 degrees Celsius temperatures in Rome when we travelled, so we really appreciated coming back 'home' to our hotel). So thank you to the Pucci family and the wonderful staff! We will return and for sure will recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Rome.

The breakfast was great. I'd definitely call it more Canadian than American in style, particularly with the canadian bacon, but this isn't surprising given the hotel's name! Breakfast buffet included something for everyone and was definitely one of the biggest selling points. The hotel staff were very helpful, even when we had a bit of a complication with our reservation, they managed everything very professionally. Prices were very fair. Common areas were pleasant.

The air conditioning in our room was definitely on, but it just wasn't strong enough to deal with a hot Roman summer day (32C) - we were uncomfortably warm all night. The staff tried to help us troubleshoot it, but I think the facility just isn't capable of getting cooler. Would be nice if the hotel kept a few fans on hand for guests to borrow on hot days. In shoulder season this wouldn't be a problem though.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights, the room had 1 double sided bed and 2 single beds. The room and the bathroom are very clean. In the morning you can enjoy the nice breakfast. The hotel is very close to the metro station so you can travel in no time to almost everywhere. There are lot of restaurants in the neighborhood where you can go for a nice dinner. The receptionists helped me a lot what you can do around the hotel, But my visit was just like everyone to see the nice old historical buildings in the center of Rome. But this hotel was definitely a nice stay, I am very glad that i took this place

Great choice of food at breakfast and as always good service from staff. We have used the hotel many times over the years and have always been impressed by the warm atmosphere and friendly feel. There are good eating places nearby and it is close to a metro station although we seldom use it as we generally prefer to walk. We love the easy relaxed area around the bar, ideal for unwinding after a day walking around Rome. The lounge area is really comfortable. Sadly the old character lift is being replaced.

The room we occupied this time was rather dark due to the heavy drapes and there was no comfortable easy chair to relax in. We have always booked a superior room and were therefore a little disappointed.

Wow! I honestly liked everything. I was travelling with my family, and wanted to have big rooms, which is almost impossible to find in Rome. Well, we've got everything we wanted with hotel Canada. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the beds are amazingly comfortable, no complaints from anyone, and cleaning ladies were doing such amazing job everyday. We all loved the old elevator, and it didn't bother us to have to go with it to the 5th floor every day. AMAZING breakfast, with daily changes and add-ons. And, lastly, the staff were so woderfull and polite, made our stay even more enjoyable. Thanks to everyone!

The three star hotel deserves more stars. I have stayed on five stars that lacks some points that the hotel offers. The location is perfect for accessing tourist spots, just two blocks far from metro station Castro Petronio. It is five blocks far from Roma Termini. The region also offers many options of good gastronomy. Speccialy Stradaromana Restaurant on the same street. Our room was big, all the amenities that we might need are a kind gift, the cleaning service was good. Than I reach the highest point of this review: the breafast. Amazing. Thanks to attention of the staff like Michela, Massimo and Claudio. The front desk always polite.

Nothing to complain, except for the behavior of guests - not the hotel's fault - that keep forgetting the proper use of the charming elevator

We had a very nice stay in Rome at Hotel Canada. Breakfast was very good, beds comfy, everything was clean. Everybody was helpful and very polite. The train station and all other sights were in walking distance. The Trattoria next door served wonderful dishes for dinner.

Old hotel with long tradition but very well maintained hotel; clean rooms; good air conditioning (August 2023); friendly and helpfull staff; close to Termini station; safe area; many restaurants around; metro station 3 min of walking; supermarket 2 streets away (5min walking). Breakfast was ok; especially freshly baked pastries. Brioches with Pistachio and Crema filling were fantastic. This is not the hotel issues; its more city of Rome issue - garbage/trash. Surrounding is drowning in trash. In front of the hotel is clean and also cleaning ladies separate the trash you made in room - very well done guys. This is the way you take care of your city! See ya soon again.

The staff was wonderful! Always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was incredible. Location was approximately 30min walk to the Colosseum or Trevi Fountain area. Beautiful building and taken care of well. Fun antique elevator that works. Would definitely stay again!

The only thing, and no fault of the hotel, but being from the US we’re used to stronger air conditioners blasting us as you walk in. When we would return from an outing, it took some adjusting to find relief from the heat. During the day we were a bit warm in the room even with the AC on. With that said, once the sun went down and you’ve settled in for the night, while sleeping it did cool down to the point I had to ask for an extra blanket.
