Modern, well designed space. Good lighting, bedding, furniture, spacious cupboard, in room coffee machine, fridge, tea and coffee. The TV, work desk and full length mirror were great additions too. Staff pleasant and helpful. Easy location for local travel connections to many places in Rome. Shops and restaurants around. €10 euro buffet breakfast, a beautiful spread of food and drinks.

The room has sound proof windows, however from outside the room door into the corridor, sound travels loudly from other guests and cleaners. I also heard loud guests both above and next to my room. I think the room door could at least be modified to be more insulated from noise.

Breakfast was tasty, dinner options also very good, and very reasonably priced. Very friendly reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff. Good location, next to Metro stop. Rooms are big. Good shower. I got a free upgrade to a room with a balcony.

Breakfast was good, but on two consecutive mornings, there were no spoons, believe it or not. Apparently, spoons are washed differently than forks and knives. It would be hilarious, were it not such a nuisance. Airconditioning / cooling in my room stopped. No corkscrew or bottle opener in room.

Amazing hotel for it’s price . Professional staff. Everything looks new. Gig screen TV, YouTube and Netflix logging in your account. Delicious breakfast. Cleaning service every day and fresh towels .30 minutes walking from colesium, 5 minutes to train station

The water in the shower does not flow out well, so if you take a shower for more than 5 minutes, the water will overflow on the floor. But not a big deal

Our rooms were very clean when we first arrived. Thereafter it seems as if housecleaning only made the beds and nothing else. There were days the garbage wasn’t taken out of our room and restocking of toilet paper and towels was also a hit or miss.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was good, away from city center like Vatican, Forum, etc., but these places can be easily reached by Taxi or metro. There are some important Churches close by that should not be missed. Free entry. There are many restaurants near the hotel. The cleanness of the hotel was excellent. Room service was super! The overall staff were helpful.

Did not like that at night the Hotel personnel at the Dining area did not care about servicing us. They were more concern about selling drinks to other guests. We left after 15 minutes of waiting for someone to take our meal order. We found a great Peruvian restaurant around the conner from the Hotel-it was excellent, fast service, reasonable prices and very clean. A family run restaurant that takes dining seriously. Also did not like Paulo's - a staff member at the entrance counter, his attitude was one that he did not want to deal with Americans, when we asked him for directions, he was offended. He needs to go. He serves no good for the Hotel. Everyone else was great.

This hotel saved our honeymoon! We had another hotel booked in Rome that didn't work for us. We booked this hotel in the middle of the night and were able to check-in in the morning. I guess they had rooms ready and availability which made this early check-in possible. Staff were always really helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the metro was not working during our stay. Otherwise the location of the hotel was very conveniently located.

We didn't include breakfast during our stay, but added one breakfast for the final morning. The breakfast was lacking a bit in quality but was enough to get us through to lunch.

The location of the hotel was great, with a subway C.Pretorio literally outside the doors that went straight to the main station. Easy to get back to the hotel via public transport on an evening / night. If you are looking for a traditional old Italian hotel, this isn't for you, however if you want a clean, secure hotel with great staff, facilities and excellent links to public transportation and within 20mins walk of the colosseum, then this is a great choice. Breakfast, there was an excellent selection, please note that the typical "English breakfast of beans hash browns is not on offer" there is however an array of pastries, pies, pancakes, fresh fruit, various breads and scrabbled eggs. There is also the option to pay additional for omelettes etc. The staff on in the morning during breakfast do an amazing job, with cleaning tables and replenishing the food. You do however have to be aware that often there are large groups that leave for tours in the morning and the room can become very full. This occurred on one of the days during our stay first thing in the morning, however once the groups have gone the items are soon replenished. I cannot say enough great things about all the staff on in the morning during breakfast, they have great patience unlike many big groups of guests. Megelah, at reception was fantastic and really did her best to get us a great room. The staff also clean / tidy the room daily which is a lovely touch. ( we do try to keep it tidy anyway) Its also worth noting that although check in is 3pm, if you arrive early like we did there are some nice facilities downstairs to use, seating area at reception and bags can be left until you can check in.

The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and the perfect place to relax after exploring Rome on some of the hottest days of the year. The air-conditioning worked brilliantly. Staff at reception were friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is in a great location right next to the Castro Pretorio metro station which gets you straight into the heart of Rome within 10 minutes.

The breakfast was fresh both days, the only very minor point is whilst you are able to ask staff for gluten free bread there is a lack of other gluten free options in the pastries, cereals and cakes.
