The hotel was conveniently located. It was not the most touristy area of Venice, which is a plus for me. Most attractions were about a kilometre away, but there were a few vaporetto stops nearby if you preferred that mode of transportation. Friendly staff, good breakfast, recently renovated rooms, everything appeared new and comfortable. I also appreciated the mini-fridge in the rooms and the complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day.

Everything was perfect. The only issue was that my room was on the ground floor, on the street side, and I was woken up around 7 a.m. by people unloading goods from boats that were stopping right next to the property. But since I had to get up early anyway, I didn't mind.

The hotel is okay, but administrator is convinced that Ukrainians have to peacefully give their heads to russian genocid. She was eager to tell me that even though I didn’t initiate any talk about politics. She literally asked me “what are you fighting for?”!! This is deeply offensive for every Ukrainian! Seems like some ignorant europeans have no idea what russia actually is, but dare to stick their opinion to our face. It might seem irrelevant to the feedback about the hotel, but personally myself would not buy any services from someone who supports russia, so I’m sure other customers deserve to know.

Beautiful B&B in a quiet street but within 10 minutes walk of Rialto. The staff were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond with accommodating our dietary requirements at breakfast. The breakfast spread was very varied, with delicious jams, fresh bread rolls, cereal, fresh fruits. For non-vegans there were yoghurts, cold meats and cheeses, waffles and pancakes. The breakfast room opens onto a canal - a very idyllic setting to wake up to, although there was only one breakfast table on the veranda. It would have been nice to have more outdoor seating. Checkin was easy and a door code was provided for 24 hour access. There is really very little to improve about this guest house. The aircon in the rooms was affective and very welcome for cooling off after the August heat. We would recommend Alla Vita Dorata to couples, families, friends and solo travellers. Wonderful location, copious breakfast, comfortable rooms and very helpful and kind staff. (bonus that tea and coffee were available for guests to make any time they wished!) Grazie!

Nothing worth noting to be improved. All was excellent and the B&B as a whole offered wonderful value for money.

Staff were lovely and friendly, helping us with a city map, allowing us to store our luggage ahead of check in, and to sit on their beautiful balcony for a few hours reading and watching boats go by, before leaving and well after check out. We felt like nothing was a bother to staff. Cannaregio is a gorgeous area to explore and we enjoyed feeling like locals for a couple of days; the hotel is brilliantly located, well connected yet quiet, near a great little Co-op and lots of bars for good, inexpensive food and coffee. Breakfast was not a mega-spread, but it ticked the boxes and the jams were lovely. We had some trouble finding the location but directions sent ahead via email proved very helpful. It was great value for money considering the location and we would stay here again.

More towels would be helpful.

The location was incredible! Not too far from the train station, easy to walk to Ponte Di Rialto, and other landmarks. Beautiful area to walk around in. The view of the room was incredible, while some noise from the dock after 8am we were impressed with how quiet the villa was after 8pm!

There were some noise from the canals after 8am, didn't bother us. Breakfast could have been better but I enjoyed it none the less. Staff member who was there to greet us knew limited English but there was always one lady around who was fluent in English. But I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

It was a very nice small hotel located not far from the main historical atractions in Venice. We could get up early and take a short walk to St Marks Square in order to enjoy Venice without crowds. . The breakfast was very good with eggs and fruit.

The only problem were some noisy deliveries by boats that took place early in the morning just under the windows of our room . But its not the hotel's fault. If you are an early bird it's not an issue.

I had a great stay at Alla Vita Dorata. This is a nice small private hotel with amazing staff. Aleksandra and Natalya would help with anything you needed, from hot tee to rain-boots. They took a great care of me! The location was great, very central but quite, away from crowded touristic paths. A grocery shop is just at the corner. The breakfast is great. The hotel itself is very clean and of a good standard. This was really a good investment in terms of money-quality. I would love to meet those wonderful people again and to come back!

Lots to choose from at breakfast ,meats cheese eggs yogurts ,bread fruit and more , Location was spot on for all the main places we wanted to visit , Room was beautiful four poster bed with a view that looked out to the water

Our weather was awful raine for 2 days none stop ,Alexandra even gave us umbrellas to use and even dried our friends trainers in the tumble dryer ,she even offered her a pair of boots ,such a lovely lady

This hotel was so lovely! Elegant and luxurious without an exorbitant price tag. Four poster bed, delicate light fixtures and a spa like bathroom all added to its charm. Above the bed there were reading lights and sconces beside the bed as well. The breakfast was amazing...cheese, cold cuts, toast waffles, pancakes, various jams, fruit, pastries and if you need a large mug, just ask! The small patio on the canal was perfect to have a cup of tea or glass of wine and just to chill and relax. I would return again and again.

A quant haven, quiet and homely hotel with a balcony over looking the back street canals! We felt very treated by the location being set back and able to watch the world go by on the balcony made our experience feel special. The staff were great! always attentive and helpful in time of need :) Breakfast was delicious, boiled eggs made to your liking every morning we could not complain!
