This is a diamond of a place and we loved it. We rented a suite for 4 nights which gave our kids (4 and 6) a separate room with a sofa bed. The room(s) had some character to it and were large which was great. Views from our suite were directly over the canal and it was far enough away from the touristy bits to be quiet, but a mere 3-4 minute walk and you were in the hustle and bustle of Venice. You could pretty much walk anywhere due to the central location and it was only a short public water taxi ride to the airport so location was nigh on perfect. Lots of nice restaurants locally without getting ripped off. Breakfast was done in 45 minute shifts from 0730 due to the limited size of the dining room but this didn't detract from the food which was fresh and delicious. The reception staff were amazing and really happy to help with all the questions we had about local transport etc. If I were going to Venice again I would definitely stay here. Location, staff, room, views, food etc, everything was amazing.

It’s unbelievable hotel, very beautiful, centrally located and hidden from the noisy crowd, with the view on the canal and a beautiful architecture inside and outside. And the most important is the service, we were welcomed with the super friendly lady who was on the reception- Neda, she also spoke German. Her welcoming smile made us also smiling. My boyfriend had his birthday on the day of check in and we got an early check in and even a room upgrade with fantastic 360 view on the canal and on the beautiful roofs), with a bottle of champagne waiting in our room to celebrate a special occasion. The breakfast was delicious, they also have a tea / coffee time with croissants from 3pm to 7pm (I think it’s a special and very warm Italian hospitality gesture). I can’t find words to describe how we were happy staying in this hotel! Thank you for everything and we will be happy to come back again.

You are visiting an old city in an old building, I expected what I got. Loved the room, very "venetian". Beds were not very comfy, but ok for our short stay. Coffee machine and water in the room were a great PLUS. The evening front desk receptionist was extra super helpful with information, upon our arrival, it really helped. The location was very good, just off the main street and about 3 blocks from the main canal. We loved it. Our reservation did not include breakfast, so I cannot tell. They had an afternoon appetizer in the dining room, free for all guests, and the kids loved it. The day we arrived there were 2 maintenance issues to attend, they were solved immediately. You can ckeck out and leave your luggage till you leave the city. The SL train station is 20min away, with 4 or 5 flights of stairs in the middle.

The heating was very high in one of the bathrooms, it was unbearable (maybe a funny guest left it very high). We managed to find out how to bring it down (the knob on each radiator), and the rest of the stay was perfect.

We (2 adults, 1 child) stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed our experience. Lovely large room, decorated in venetian style with lots of amenities and comforts. Very close to main shopping street/thoroughfare but in a quiet location that was peaceful and beautiful. Good breakfast spread each morning and appreciated tea/biscuits available in the afternoon. Very nice greeting when we checked in. Would recommend to someone wanting a quieter location to get away from the crowds/noise but still very convenient for seeing all of Venice.

Some small cleanliness issues (small shower mould, smells) but nothing major

The hotel is in excellent location in a quiet neighbourhood, only few meters from the busy areas. If you want to see the real Venice definitely leave the beaten track and enjoy this side of the city. Our room was spatious and comfortable, the staff was very kind and helpful. We also receved bathrobes, slippers, the room was well equipped.

Despite the charm and comfort of the hotel some minor things would need some upkeep. Hangers in the bathroom probably because of the weight of towels, are loose and moving. The shower screen had some rust and mold stains. Altough it was clean, these marks and the leekage of water makes it feel less neat. Overall, some renovation and stlye regreshment would position this hotel where it belongs.

This hotel is classic Venetian style. It’s very beautiful and has the vintage charm to it. The interiors are very rich and elegant. Perfectly located in residential area of Venice… about 15 min beautiful walk away from Rialto bridge and other attractions. Very good to come back after long days The rooms are very beautifully done and comfortable to sleep in after a long day of explorations. The breakfast is decent and snack hours from 3:30pm until 7pm is a bonus. The staff is very helpful and always smiling. Go for it

Room has two levels. It has a balcony. Two TVs, mini bar, safe. Room looked classy with drape wallpapers and rococo furniture, but that's nothing special for Venice hotels, still I loved it. Free coffee and snacks after 3 PM (never experienced something like this) Very friendly staff.

Room is ripe for a new paint. Third bed could be a bit more comfortable. Bath tub was too thin. The glass wall for showering limited the space extremely. If you are a bigger guy, you can't even shower there without flooding the bath room.

Awesome staff, even helped tie up my ball dress corset. Peaceful location only 3min walk to Ca d’Oro ferry, which goes to the station and st marcs square. You can also walk within 20mins. Lovely venetian style decor, warm and cosy. Massive room with opening window, comfy bed and pillows, great ducted air/heating. Good quality breakfast. Great lift.

Wifi not great in bedroom. Black stains on the bedroom walls. Uneven floor in room. Shower head in an awkward position over the tub.

Thank you to the amazing staff at this beautiful hotel - when I arrived, I was not only upgraded from a single room into a double (with a bath!), but I was also given a map with hand picked recommendations and tips for places to eat and drink nearby!! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated with lovely touches like robes and slippers, complimentary water and coffee. I loved my time here - delicious breakfast, amazing staff and the hotel is super close to the sights (10 mins to Rialto, 15/20 to St. Marks) but in a quiet and cosy location. Thank you all!

The hotel staff demonstrated exceptional kindness and assistance. Despite my flight cancellation from Munich to Venice after checking in, they aided me in re-arranging my private pickup, even though my arrival was scheduled after 11pm. When I finally reached the hotel at 2am, a staff member was present to facilitate my check-in. This level of service was truly remarkable. Furthermore, the hotel's location is favorable and the breakfast is noteworthy, especially the pancake which is of restaurant quality. I highly recommend this establishment.
