Wonderful staff all polite and all said hello on passing, cleaners worked so hard in the heat, lovely lad on reception, he’s a star and was so polite and helpful, when we arrived, and always chatted as we walked in and out. Absolutely beautiful room overlooking the canal Large room plenty of room storage space Small but perfectly functional bathroom just slightly small for size of room But loved the 3 windows overlooking the canal all with old shutters Quiet area with gondolas drifting past, great to see all the boats going by, not busy and not a noisy area But short walk and you are by restaurants shops bars etc

The rooms were so hot No aircon working a fan just didn’t cut through the heat Air con very much needed in these rooms

The room was very very clean, warm & completely acceptable! The bed was lovely comfy -- I got extra blankets because it was winter time -- staff was very helpful -- it's so close to the Rialto Bridge -- amazing 13th century building -- completely suitable. Right outside my bedroom was a view of a canal. I was completely satisfied -- and the price point was completely acceptable. I would definitely stay here again.

Considering it's Venice & right off the tourist area, everything was what I expected it would be! Yes, I'd stay here again. Considering it's Venice & people don't spend time in their rooms, It was what I expected & completely ok. I wish I could have stayed longer!

I liked the location, the antique furniture, the view on the channel is from our room number 107, everything is neat and tidy. especially, that the building is so ancient, you won’t notice it as everything is clean. The stuff is friendly and kind. Even though we were late on checking in and there is no one from 5-7 at the hotel to open the door, we went to another hotel on the opposite to call ours and found out the password to type and we entered without any problems.

it’s not about the property, on the channel at 5am they start picking rubbish so be ready for that and close the windows shuts

Excellent location. Everything was very close. The Rialto bridge was 1 minute away and San Marco square 5 minutes away. The room was very good. Much better than the pictures. Clean, comfortable and large (we have booked a triple room) with a view of the canal. The receptionists were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

I had great experience to satay with hotel, staffs are so Co operative always ready to hear and specially tha lady at reception in morning time so helpful and polite my thumbs up for hospitality of staff and hotel, I recommend everyone to please whenever you come to Venice stay with hotel alla fava.

Location was excellent. Everything else was as expected. Accomodation was clean. Staff were friendly. Appreciated the loan of a travel adaptor and willingness to store our luggage after check out. Would certainly stay again.

The air conditioning unit really required a fan to be added to the room as a backup. Conditions were rather hot and humid.

All was wonderful, price, location, the hotel is so pretty and classic looking. You can get to the main attractions ina minute walking. I woul recomend it 100% of the time.

Only downside was a strong smell of rot (similar to dead rat) around the lobby and hallways. The room did not have this smell and was pretty nice to be in. Apart from this resolvable issue the place was amazing.

The staff was incredibly friendly. As soon as we arrived, the recepcionist welcomed us and gave us inmediately really nice recommendations to find cheap restaurants and cafeterias within the city centre. Moreover, the location couldn't be better.

We found it a bit overpriced, but it's probably the best you can find in Venice around the city centre

Hotel Alla Fava was a great place to stay when visiting Venice. The staff was very good and let us bring items and store them early. They also were knowledgeable about things to do in Venice. The hotel is a bit dated but it was comfortable and the location couldn't be better. So easy to get everywhere from there.

The rooms are a bit dated and could be a bit loud from street noise occasionally. Though it was pretty minimal

It was Clean, nice view from on the street, very comfortable and communicative and kind staff, we had air conditioning and everything we needed.

Thin walls, you can hear other rooms.
