The hotel is located very conveniently to on of the canal docks which is serviced by both the airport transfer service and the regular passenger ferries. Less than a 10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. Excellent restaurant across from the front door. The staff were all lovely and quite helpful. The room was lovely, but as expected it was a little small. The hotel is presented beautifully. Facilities were quite good for the circumstances (old building, in Venice), and had an elevator as well - its just a bit compact! The beds were fine, kitchen was great and the in-room breakfast was lovely.

The shower was a bit marginal at times - but we experienced no real problems. We had a scare with the toilet, but it cleared second time around. In fairness, I can't think of anything negative to say.

My boyfriend and I were incredibly impressed with the hotel. The staff were so friendly, the room was lovely & the beds were very comfy. The breakfast was great and definitely set us up for the day - there were pancakes, bread rolls, croissants, scrambled eggs, toast, ham, cheese, cakes - a good variety! I think most people have breakfast delivered to their rooms, but we ate in the bar area which was really nice. The location is 10/10 (approx 5 minute walk to St Mark’s square and a 2 minute walk from the Santa Maria Del Giglio water taxi station which we went to to get to and from the airport). The Prosecco in the room on arrival was a lovely touch.

Nothing - it was a great stay!!

A great location with San Marco very close as well as water bus pick up / drop off. The staff were very helpful, especially the lady who served breakfast. The reception staff were also excellent, and helped us to make dinner reservations outside the touristy areas. The room had a cute terrace and plenty of wardrobe space. We received welcome cocktails on arrival too!

The narrow stairs to our room made things a difficult with baggage although I think there is a lift for the other side of the hotel. There is no ironing allowed in the hotel.

- our room was very clean - AC was modern and fully working; room was chilly even if outside was super hot. - breakfast is served in the room and it's quite rich, with scrambled eggs, ham and lots of sweets/coffee to choose - staff is very nice and professional - whole hotel is clean and has a modern feel to it. - there is an elevator - bathroom is very nice and has everything you'll need - internet connection is very good and fast - the Smart TV in the room has Netflix and YouTube - location is top notch, just a 7 minute walk from the main Piazza San Marco and 3-4 minute to the Ferry terminal Number 1 that takes you directly to the main train tation, Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia.

- room size, ours was a bit small than we expected. - view is lacking, our room was faced to another similar tall building so nothing to see.

This is a great property in an excellent location. easy access (3min) to the vaporetta, with a direct link to the airport, and about a 6 minute walk to San Marco. very quiet area with plenty of restaurants available. The apartment (304) the very well appointed, with a great little kitchen, plenty of cupboards, safe and a huge lounge/dining area. Lovely views from the windows over the square below. Excellent breakfast was served to the room each morning very prompt. would definitely stay here again. I will also add, that this hotel was booked less than 24 hours before I stay, after our original hotel cancelled on us!

if I had to make any negative comments I would say that the beds were a little uncomfortable for me personally. Also, as a family of 4 with two 13yr olds, sofa beds just don't work for us anymore either. These are just personal issues and by no means detract from how great the property is as a whole.

Fantastic location. Flat, two-three minute walk from the Giglio ferry stop. Lift in hotel for luggage to our room. Breakfast was one of the better ones we have had on our extended Italy trip. Many amenities in room and snack upon arrival. We asked for a fan for the room which we received. First night to see sleep through the night on our trip. The piazza that hotel property opened onto has a restaurant, amazing church façade and cool glass shop.

The position in the centre of Venice was great. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the room was very clean. we would stay there again when visiting Venice.

The air conditioning wasn’t super effective but it may have been to the extreme heat at the time. it would have been nice for the staff to let us know about the celebration the weekend we were there as we were disappointed we missed the fireworks.

Great location six minutes walk from St marks Square, liked that breakfast was brought to room every morning at no extra charge,staff were great from start to finish, and a bottle of prosecco was brought to room on arrival,rooms were cleaned every day and stocked with fresh towels overall I had a great stay .

All channels were in Italian, brought fire stick to plug into TV and worked great 😉 No tea /coffee facilities in room.

The property is centrally located and minutes from a vaporetto stop. Really easy to reach from the airport. Our room was a generous size and spotless. The kitchenette was an added bonus. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Complementary fresh fruit and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival was really appreciated.

Within five minutes of checking into the Palazzo del Giglio, my buzzer rang and I was welcomed with a delivery of fresh fruit, orange juice, and a bottle of Prosecco from the management! The room size was perfect for my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers), with AC, amazing shower, and a kitchen in case I wanted to pretend like I was going to cook on vacation. The location was roughly 20 meters from the Grand Canal, so walking out of the hotel, all I had to do was look left and I could see it. The hotel is also located roughly 200m away from Saint Marks square, the Doge Palace, and other attractions, so location wise it was fantastic. Breakfast was included in our stay, and was delivered to our room at the time of our choosing in the morning, so no fighting with the other guests for seating or the buffet. All in all, a great place to stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

Really, the only thing was the beds were a little hard. After a day of walking around the city in the heat, I still passed out, just slept on more comfortable beds, that's all. I would still stay here again.
