Hotel Saturnia & International

The hotel is in a fabulous location. Right in the heart of designer shops and very close to Saint Marks Basilica. The back entrance to the hotel made it very easy for a water taxi to drop us off with all our luggage. The staff were very helpful and organised a free tour to Murano Glass. The room was large and spacious with a couch and table. The bathroom was modern. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel is in a very nice section of Venice near all the expensive designer shops that you don't shop in and about 10 minutes from St. Marks. Hotel is very nice and the rooms were clean but a bit on the smaller side but probably par for the course for Venice. The bathroom was large enough but didn't have much counter space around the sink. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing details on the area and using the ferries. Jacopd at the front desk was very nice and helpful on providing information using the ferries and arranging a water taxi to take us to the airport which picked us up at the back door of the hotel. This was extremely convenient and a hassle free way to leave Venice and get to the airport in 30 minutes. The breakfast was plentiful and had a nice variety of items, probably the best we encountered on our 3 weeks in Italy. I would recommend this hotel for any stay in Venice, you can't go wrong here.

It was a bit pricey. There were also some lights mounted on beams in the rooms that pointed directly at your face when laying in bed which were very distracting and uncomfortable and you had to turn them off to be comfortable when in bed.

The hotel is so close to everything we wanted to see. The best luxury shopping stores are right outside our hotel building i.e. Prada, Fendi, Chanel, Gucci, LV, etc. Many good restaurants and gelatos within a 5-10min radius of the hotel. The private boats can pick up & drop you off in your hotel building which made it so easy with my huge luggage. Our room was more than spacious for 2 people and the bathroom is huge! The daily breakfast that was included with our stay has many buffet items to choose from: bacon, ham, eggs, waffles, pancakes, 4 different types of fresh croissants, pastries, variety of fresh fruits, fresh squeezed orange juice, champagne, juices: pineapple & apple, variety of caffeine options: espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc. I highly recommend that you don’t skip out on their breakfast 7am-10:30am.

Perfect location. Relaxing place with amazing and friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing and they even got as a takeaway container when we left for our flight really early. And they were so attentive that they saw it was my partners birthday and left us a bottle of Spumante and a voucher for discount on our dinner in the hotel’s restaurant

only detail I didn’t love was the pillows that weren’t supportive enough for my taste

The hotel staff were exceptional. We were arrived by water taxi directly to the hotel door and were helped with our luggage and into our room which was large and comfortable. We faced a side courtyard so was relatively quiet and we did sleep with the windows open. The hotel desk arranged a visit for us to a local glass factory which I enjoyed more than visiting Murano in the past. They also arranged a water taxi to pick us up from the hotel and take us to the airport for a very early flight. Breakfast was tasty and typical for Europe with breads, pastries, some fruit, meats, cheese and eggs. We would definitely stay here again.

We've been to Venice 4 or 5 times now (not for a few years thanks to Covid!), every trip we have stayed at Saturnia, why? They have never given us a reason not to, it is that simple. A quiet oasis a few steps from St Mark's, the Opera and Academia. Beautifully understated friendly service, if you know what you want to do and when, no one will bother you. Need help and advice on anything in Venice, you will get an answer to everything and more. The bar and staff 1st rate, the perfect balance of friendly but not over the top. The cocktails, exceptional - dare I say the best Mohito I've had outside Cuba! Read every review on here and the breakfast is standout, it really is. Flashy, no. In your face, no. Ostentatious, no. Quiet, understated, charm and finesse. Every time. Will we be back - always!

Genuinely, there is nothing not to like.... I know that sounds too simple but it's true!

I was injured stepping into a water taxi on my way to the hotel. Thank God for Massimo and Roberto who helped me into the hotel. Roberto found a way for me to get to our ship in Ravenna without having to worry about being injured again. He booked a driver and a water taxi that had a floor that could be brought up so that I could easily get on the boat. Two gentlement from the hotel pushed my wheelchair to the dock. I will never forget their kindness and helpfulness. Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. It is a fabulous place to stay.

Lovely hotel with beautiful features. Amazing location, easy walking distance to sights and transport. We travelled to and from Venice by train and caught water taxis to and from the hotel, one which stopped nearby and the other at the hotel's back door, both of which were easy to navigate. Our room was large and comfortable. The best part was that it overlooked a small canal with gondoliers going up and down. Ate at the restaurant one night, and the food and service was fantastic. Breakfast was also delicious. We loved Venice and the hotel was definitely part of that.

we traveled with another couple and each room was unique, not your typical hotel where every room looks the same. The roof top terrace was a great place to enjoy some relaxation with friends and a drink or bite to eat. The included breakfast was amazing. there were many choices and even the opportunity for fresh squeezed orange juice. our return trip to the airport was perfect. the hotel arranged for a water taxi to pick us up at the back door of the hotel and take us directly to the airport. So convenient!! if you like high end shopping, you will love the location. you are right in the middle of it and fun to at least window shop.

we have no complaints at all!

All of the staff we encountered were amazing...so friendly and helpful. From the Concierge who answered many questions with smiles and humor to the kind woman who remembered how I took my coffee on day two of my stay. We loved the adjacent bar...the staff...the wonderful drinks...the charm of the space. Our dinner on night one was spectacular. Breakfast was amazing...even with an option to squeeze your own fresh orange juice. Our room was spacious and so clean. We couldn't have asked for more.

Nothing could have been better. Our expectations were exceeded at every turn.
