Eleonora was a lovely host. We stayed at her B&B the end of September. Directions to the B&B were easy to follow. Breakfasts were super, we had homemade cappuccino (or whatever coffee/tea you wanted) prepared fresh each morning with cold breakfast foods (cereal, yogurt, juice, fresh fruit, rolls) set out, and warm croissants, warm cheese and prosciutto breakfast paninis or eggs in the morning. She provided suggestions for dining and gelato, and when it was time to leave, she gave us directions and info on how to catch the train to Florence. We took advantage of her dinner suggestions and tried the places she suggested, they were great. Our favorite was Sacre and Profane, a small bar tucked into a quiet spot near the Rialto Bridge. The bed was comfy, the room temperature was perfect, we left the windows open during the day and it was comfortably cool sleeping. We enjoyed watching/listening to the gondolas go by, sometimes with singing gondoliers. The first morning we had no hot water in the shower and at breakfast she let us know she had an issue with the hot water and discounted our stay for that day. It was fixed by the next morning. Be aware there are 2 flights of stairs to carry your bags up—I wish I had packed a smaller bag. It was a perfect place for us to stay. Lots of history and a more interesting place than a tourist hotel. We would definitely return to B&B Al teatro the next time we venture to Venice. Eleonora also was patient with my halting Italian at breakfast.

Brilliant location and Eleanora, the host, was amazing from start to finish. She gave us detailed instructions on how to get to the bnb as well as offering different options to help us arrive from the airport. The room was beautiful with an amazing view of the canal. Breakfast was great, with lots of options of cereals etc as well as Eleanora bringing out warm croissants and offering to make us various options.

Eleonora was a fantastic host and went above and beyond. She had some incredible local recommendations that we followed and that we think made our experience better. The breakfast was very generous and really good. The location was also incredible for all the main tourist spots and for anyone planning to visit the opera.

Eleanora (the owner of B&B) was great and very helpful, giving us info & instructions. The location is exceptional, very close to Giglio vaporetto station, to San Marco piazza, to Guggenheim museum, and most importantly the view of the backside canal, very quiet after dealing with the crowd. We definitely recommend this place.

For B&B, the Breakfast was very simple and normal. the usual cereals, fruits, jams, misc. breads. But Eleanora fixed us cappuccinos and crescents. Nothing exceptional

Great Central location, very comfortable, great breakfast and a very helpful and pleasant Landlady. She gave us great locations to eat at and visit, also gave us best advice for getting around. She told us about Lido and we loved it there, would never have gone there if she hadn't recommended it.

we enjoyed every single moment in Venice ,Eleonora was really helpful and a great host with the morning chat and all advices she gave us to explore the city specially it was our first time, the location is great with a canal view, the room was very comfortable and cozy you can feel that she put her touch in everything. I also like the candles scent she lighted at night.

Great room ( that was cleaned everyday) , breakfast was delicious, view was lovely, and Eleanora was a fantastic host - recommending the best local restaurants and advising us where to go and what to see.

I could not have been happier with my stay at B&B Al Teatro. The room was very large and comfortable with views of the surrounding canal. The location was perfect—walkable to Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, near lots of restaurants and shops, and equally as important, a few minutes walking from a water taxi stop on the Grand Canal. Eleonora, the host, was lovely—she was friendly, made a nice breakfast in the morning, and went above and beyond to help me coordinate my day trips, activities, and departure from Venice. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great Breakfast, awesome location, Eleonora was a great host with lots of insight into the city and really helpful with recommendations. We had a great stay and would definitely go back again!

B&B Al Teatro is perfectly situated in the city centre of Venice, at short walking distance between San Marco and Ponte Rialto. Although this perfect location, Al Teatro is situated at the end of a quiet alley so no tourist passing by all day. There's also a vaporetto stop nearby what makes it pretty easy to reach Al Teatro with your luggage. The room we got was very clean and comfortable (airconditioning). Eleonora is also a perfect host who knows the city by heart to give you a lot of good tips to visit interesting places, go around or whatever you want to do. On top of this you get a very nice breakfast to start your day!
