someone’s dog was barking off & on for most of the night. Apparently this wasn’t the 1st time. The guy is out all night; so maybe he works night shift. The bed was very comfortable; except even with the pillows over my head just wasn’t muffing the barking enough to get that nice deep sleep that I was hoping to have. I was driving 13) hours that day, and the same for the previous 2) days coming from Washington state. Lord was kind enough to help me to reach Southport NC late this afternoon and I can’t wait to get a Really Good Night sleep!😵😴😴😵

Location great. Room clean and all needed amenities were provided. Breakfast okay. It was good the first morning but poor the second morning. Same for staff. Great staff at check in and on first day. Staff member at check out was not helpful and acted as though we were bothering him.

See comment above about breakfast on second morning and staff at checkout. There were a number of things missing at breakfast (sausage, coffee…) and the young man checking us out was not responsive and actually rude.

That I could request a room on a higher floor. Loved that the were able to provide one that looked out into the trees, rather than the parking lot.

Need more coffee in the room. I'm a coffeeholic, so the one that's there isn't nearly enough. But housekeeping was quick to provide more when asked. And even said how to get more if they're not around.

The place was set back off the main road so there wasn't any traffic noise. We were able to check in with no problem. The room was very clean and well stocked. The beds were perfect to sleep on. We will be coming back to stay again next year.

Breakfast was almost gone early. Eggs and sausage were good though.

Breakfast buffet was understaffed....eggs and sausages were gone when I got there and it took forever for them to be replenished. There were no utensils, butter pats, jam, or other toppings for toast and bagels or waffles out...we finally tracked a man down, but he seemed to also be covering the front desk and doing maintenance, so things took a long time to be ready. I feel bad for businesses...everywhere seems to be understaffed...should never have had that long lockdown!!!

Room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was adequate but not spectacular. The location was good and the service staff was kind and helpful. No issues.

I wish there was a hot tray for breakfast with eggs and sausage or something like that but it's not a big deal. There was plenty of food for breakfast and the burritos were good.

The customer service was very friendly & helpful. The location was easy to find, with restaurants & gas stations nearby. The hotel, hallways & room were clean & inviting.

The door latch to the room was very loose. The door did lock, but it sits ajar and the door was very loose in the latch itself.

We stayed 4 nights, glad we booked the 2 room suite. Well worth paying to have the extra room.

I read the reviews before booking, the breakfast was acceptable however could use variety from sausage and fried egg daily. The server was fabulous at keeping it stocked

That y'all said I could put it on hold with free cancelation but once I did there was no cancelation without paying full price for the room and I wouldn't let them get twice as much for a room plus it didn't look nothing like the picture and the counter and sink were in the smallest bathroom ever. If the counter and sink was outside the bathroom or the bathroom wall and door were moved out a little more like most hotel rooms are then we'd had plenty of room in the bathroom.

The bed was the best I’ve ever in my life slept on. The owners pay careful attention to detail. The breakfast was good. The property is well maintained and updated.

I have nothing except that I wished that there was hair conditioner (versus the shampoo and conditioner together). I think this is a very small criticism and might get eye rolls. I use conditioner to style my hair, and women will understand this. And because I am traveling I internationally, I am very concerned with the weight of my luggage and am trying not yo accumulate a ton of stuff.
